"Victoria."
I dazed in and out of sleep, subconsiously gnawing on the end of my pen. Is there cheer practice today even though its raining? I don't want to get muddy. I quickly pulled out a wipe from my bag and sweeped in over my pen, but it wound up back in between my teeth within seconds.
"Victoooria."
A bird hovered near the window, pecking at the birdfeeder that Mrs. Green had hung up last semester. It occasionally bumped in to the window, which averted the attention of everyone for varying periods of time, depending on what the bird did afterwards. Watching birds stuff food in their beaks was more fun then listening to the geometry teacher ramble.
"Mrs. Arena!"
"Whozi-whahnow?" I asked groggily, batting my eyes and allowing my pen to drop to my desk. The geometry teacher was almost on top of me, squinting at me through her thick glasses.
"Pay attention, Victoria. Don't forget, you failed this information on our last assesment." The class began to murmur and stifle laughter as I shrunk in to my seat. Annoying bitch.
Before I could even stand up and demand she apologize before I inform my daddy's lawyers of this cruel harrassment, the bell to go to next period rang. Finally, the only class I didn't really hate: sociology. I more or less didn't hate it because I sat in the back on my phone all class and didn't pay attention, but it was nothing of my concern. As I took my seat in the chatting class, I began to drift away from thought as I scanned the room. My eye caught this one weird ass loner kid who sits next to me. His nose always seemed to be stuck in a book when everyone else chatted, so I never really payed much mind to him. Whatever. I began texting Daniella about our next cheer routine the second class began.
