Personality:
World wise and philosophical. Haneul is known for being wise and mature well beyond her years. Her friends jokingly call her 'mother' or 'sage' for her words of wisdom and random ponders of life. She tends to fuss over people, especially close relations and friends, taking their struggles and worries as part of hers as well. This tendency often results in it that Haneul might take on too much responsibility and exhaust her mentally and physically.
She is always ready to help these who ask for it, or seem in need of it. Whether it is in their studies, or by offering a listening ear. This kindness has made her popular among her peers, but also easy to abuse. There have been many instances that people took advantage of her warmth and willingness to help others.
However, it isn't only a warm aura with Haneul. As the daughter of a successful entrepreneur and a savvy lawyer the girl inherited many of their qualities. Sassy when she sees her chance and extremely cunning there are many layers and hidden cards to the girl that she hasn't revealed yet. While she may pretend that she doesn't notice the shrewdness and dark intents of others, she knows and has observed many of their sides. Including to it that many trust her with secrets that were never shared with others, Haneul knows that she can ruin someone when needed.
She doesn't, however, only because she doesn't believe in such evil, but knows that the options is available if she were ever to meet someone so truly toxic and dangerous. In that way she truly is an guardian angel of secrets. Ready to pass judgement when needed, when another angel falls.
History:
From a young age Haneul was taught the value knowledge and humanity, but also the ruthlessness and the politics behind business. Her father taught her how to listen, to recognise the whims and to understand the weaknesses of the people around her. He taught her the importance of understanding cultures and traditions and sent her to schools abroad in order to immerse herself in said cultures and learn their languages. Her mother was a lawyer, she taught the young girl how to value knowledge and rhetoric. All valueable lessons that the girl would carry around for the rest of her life and which would form her character.
The girl spend most of her time abroad. The first few years of her life before high school were spent travelling with her parents. There she learnt the wonders of the worlds, loved and adored, indulged in the world of the adults. She was taught to behave, to smile and show off her wit and charms to the world. It was, unconsciously, her first lesson in business. A way for her parents to win themselves some extra tickets to riches. She was taken out to business trips, diners, galas, all of the sort that some girls could only dream off. Pretty dresses, delicious food, expensive jewels. She had it all. However, Haneul lacked something essential in her childhood. Friends.
Because of her constant moving and travelling around the world Haneul learnt a lot of the world, but she never had a solid friend. Surely, she got along with her peers, but she could never stay around permanently, so she had to bid them goodbye soon enough. A sad happening, really, but the girl grew used to it. Used to the loneliness, as her parents were often too busy, used to adjusting to her new environment.
A turning point happened when Haneul started high school. Her parents realising that this was going to be a crucial time for her studies now decided that she needed a constant environment to help her. They returned to her birth-house in Korea, Seoul. A place she hadn't been at except for the few summers and holidays spend here for relatives. They sought and selected the personnel needed to maintain the household and looked for the best high school around. Seoul High it became and off the girl was sent back to Korea, Seoul. Alone and without her parents, but with a freedom she didn't have before when she travelled with her parents. Finally she would have the chance to make friends.
Other:
❀ Speaks English, French, German, Chinese, Japanese fluently next to her mother language Korean. This is thanks to the great efforts of her parents when she was travelling around with them.
❀ Has a great interest in philosophy, and is frequently seen reading literature regarding the matter.
❀ Her father's enterprise focuses itself mostly in the field of beauty. Mostly known for their great line of skin-care products and make-up, but also in fashion such as jewellery and clothes.
❀ Plays a little piano and attended ballet classes when she was young. All so that she could entertain the guests and potential clients/partners for her parents. She enjoys the instrument and sport, but hated how she was forced into it.
