Fallen (Thane Korino & Fangs9090)

The person looked over to Hikaru and stopped their swinging back and forth turning instead into a full stop. Their paws planted down in the sand below. It seems to a degree they were rather disappointed or perhaps they were just bored with their current situation, after all they had nothing to do for a few hours. "Who would this person happen to be?" They asked, before starting to stand up and away from the swing. They began to look around the area briefly, hoping that something would catch their eye. "Might know 'em.."

Hikaru paused for a moment. "Last I saw him, he had black fur and silver hair and really dark eyes. And he's a cat. Unless he changed since then, he should look pretty similar."

The person whom from now on is going to be titled the ‘swinger’ until their name is mentioned pondered as well. The swinger scratched at the side of their face and pondered for a few moments. “A black cat? There’s plenty around that I can think of honestly.” The swinger continued to scratch at the invisible itch of unknowing that stuck to the Swinger’s face.

“Silver hair, however only brings one that I know of to mind.” The swinger’s scratching stopped for the time being. “Juno Marison, I think! Last name might not be right though, but Juno is the only one that I can think of.” The swinger folded their hands upon their lap. “Quiet kid for the most part.”

Hikaru brightened up at last. "Yes, that must be him. I don't think I ever learned his last name, but his first name was Juno."

The swinger simply sat there for a few moments and let out a bit of a shrug. "Alright, well I am pretty sure he has classes for the next four hours or so." the swinger stated.

Hikaru paused for a momet. "Do you know where he has his classes?" She'd witnessed him attending school before, but she was fairly certain he wouldn't be going to the same place as he had when he was a child.

As Hikaru asked the question the swinger briefly tried to avoid a chuckle escaping their lips. “Why yes, of course I know where he has classes. Especially since I am supposed to be teaching one of those specific classes in about, two hours I believe. I cannot say that for certain since my understanding of time is rather, weak or loose in most understanding.” The Swinger started to get up from the swing and started to walk onward and away from the swing set.

“Celestial Selmont University. Half way across town, just head north west or so.” The swinger proceeded or rather would proceed on their way. It seemed hunger was rather getting to them and they were off to look for a restaurant or a fast food joint or two.

Hikaru watched them go for a moment before looking northwest. She paused for a moment before she started walking, with or without the swinger. Her main focus was finding her friend.

The swinger would continue on their way to a nearby fast food joint or something of the like. Not heading to the university at this time and not wanting to seeing as it was work. There was no real point on getting there earlier than needed. Besides he was hungry for something at least. The swinger would likely disappear from view around a corner unless specifically followed.

As for looking north west a dome of sorts could be made out in the distance but likely very little of it. There were other buildings around and about the city that would likely block off a better view. The university is where Hikaru's friend is supposedly taking classes. One of the classes being taught by the swinger who left only a second or two ago.

Hikaru walked along until she spotted the dome, making her way through the city on foot and rarely taking her eyes off her target. She almost ran into a few people but most of them moved aside before she did. She did make sure to stop every time she came to a road. The last thing she wanted was to relive her death.

The dome or rather the university of which the dome had belonged to was about halfway across the city. It would probably be easy to track and notice, especially as one got closer and closer to said building. A few vehicles passed by one of them being that strange bus from before but it seemed to be steadily going along its route rather easily. It was likely a thirty to forty minute walk to arrive at the gates of the University.

Hikaru continued on, focused on her goal. Eventually, after a while of steady walking, she arrived at the gates and looked up at the university.

The gates of the university were old fashioned and rather gaudy looking with curvy and leaf like patterns. The gates were clearly made out of wrought iron. Beyond the initial gates were large brick walls that spread outward and around the whole university canvas. Attach to the wall or rather part of it was a small niche or booth of which a red panda was playing a game in on their phone. The panda seemed to be in a rather simple blue security guard outfit.

The whole of the university was far up ahead. The main building was large and at least some acres across. It was the one with the giant dome and seemed to take inspiration from Greek architecture with smoothed out marble pillars. There were lots of other large buildings scattered about the area of the campus as well, most of them seeming to be more modern style and reflecting the buildings of the city. Only one other building also had a dome, and clearly had a giant telescope peaking out of it.

Hikaru took a moment to look at the university. As far as she could remember, she'd only seen places like this in the shows she used to watch. She briefly wondered if any of those shows were still going before shaking her head and focusing once more. She walked over to the booth, hoping she'd be able to gain entry with little problem.

The red panda in the booth noticed Hikaru's approach and calmly slipped the phone away into her back pocket. She would briefly reach down to a hidden drawer and pull out a pamphlet that mainly advertise about the university and the like. The panda didn't particularly recognize Hikaru and thus prepared the advertisement a bit, it came with working the booth. "Hello, and welcome to Celestial University, what brings you here today?" The red panda said behind the glass of the booth and slid the small pamphlet under a slit in the glass.

Hikaru picked up the pamphlet and looked at it for a moment before looking to the panda again. "Ah, I need to speak to a student here. Someone by the name of Juno."

The pamphlet of course had the name of the university in some fancy font and had a big picture of the main building on the cover. On the back seemed to be a rather basic or crude map of the campus and its various buildings, labeling each one and listing a few of the functions that these buildings have such as certain classes and the like.

The panda looked at Hikaru for a moment in uncertainty and a slight degree of worry. "Give me a minute, I'll call and see if that can be arranged...." The panda stated and began dialing on the university phone or the work phone. Putting it to the side of her ear and simply waiting for her advisor and organize of communications to pick up.

Hikaru gave a polite nod and continued looking over the pamphlet while she waited. She wondered which of the classes Juno was taking. When she stopped to think about it, she didn't really know what many of these were even about. She'd received a different kind of education after she'd passed away.

(Sorry for taking so long. I somehow didn't get a notification for this.)

The pamphlet of course contained all sorts of information, mostly basic or general information about the college, its classes, and other services. It sadly did not list any of the students or teachers by name outright. It did advertise having a very low tuition charge for those who attended the school and took service hours and shifts during special times on the school year.

The panda meanwhile had a quiet conversation over the phone and began slowly putting it down to her neck. "You should be able to meet in the cafeteria, but before I let you in. I need you to put on..." The panda stated going through a drawer and pulling out a wristband. "This." She stated and began sliding it under the small slit in the window. "Just slap it around your wrist and you can head right on in to the common areas."

Hikaru looked over before looking at the wristband. She nodded her head as she picked it up. "Thank you." She fastened the wristband onto her wrist and looked at it for a moment before checking the map in the pamphlet to try and see if she could figure where she needed to go.

The panda would let a simple nod before hitting a button under the desk. The button was one of many but it was easy to tell which one through memorization and simple touch. A buzz rang out from the gate. The gate began to open inward to lead toward the campus. "Mhhm."

The wrist would just bend and easily slap on around the wrist. The map indeed revealed where to go! In fact the cafeteria was one of the closest buildings on campus and it was written in bold upon the map. It would be pretty easy to get to said building or understand the map.

Hikaru looked at the gate before walking through and following the maps directions to the cafeteria. She glanced around as she went, noting the size of the campus. It was definitely bigger than the elementary school she had gone to before dying. She soon found the cafeteria and paused before stepping inside.

The cafeteria was a rather large building. It was mostly made of see through flexible glass as to let people look out at the nearby plants and the like. The entrance had what appeared to be a large detector gate way, like a metal detector at airports but with a more curved appearance. People could be seen likely sitting at different tables and eating or getting food from elsewhere inside the building, or vending machines and the like.

Hikaru walked into the building and looked around at the people, nervously holding the pamphlet close. She scanned the people, looking for a familiar face.
