Fallen (Thane Korino & Fangs9090)

Hikaru paused for a moment before furrowing her brows and taking a step forward. "No. You dragged me out here so I deserve one more answer. How do you know about that from so long ago?"

The Roach let out a bit of a shrug and chuckled. He went right back to playing with the figurine and pretended to shoot rockets from one of its arms rather briefly. "Simple, talked about it." The roach shrugged again. There was not much else to that answer besides perhaps some elaboration on the details but that was not desired much.

Hikaru looked at him for a long moment, clearly not satisfied with his answer, if it could be called that. She was about to continue insisting but quickly thought better of it. She sighed, figuring there would be no getting answers from him. "Fine. I have things I need to be doing anyway. I'll be leaving now." She turned around to face the exit.

Roach chuckled somewhat and began slipping the figurine away as Hikaru mentioned they were going to leave. Seeing as they had wings there was likely no point in giving them a ride currently. Besides, the driver outside would be needed to take them elsewhere for some supplies sooner or later, probably sooner. "Bye." The Roach would state with a bit of a chime.

Seeing as the Roach was letting Hikaru go for now, it didn't seem the assailant had any reason to stall. In which case the Assailant began slowly opening the steel door to leave.

Once the door was opened, Hikaru stepped out and jumped up ontop of the van, using her wings to give her a boost. She glanced around to get her bearings before flying off towards the city again.

The assailant was personally a bit displeased from what little they had seemed to gain at the certain time. There was not much else left to do about it at this very moment, however. It would seem they would have to wait for further developments to occur and to follow whatever their boss hand in mind with the odd shopping list in mind.

The driver however was somewhat alarmed and angered by the fact that that Hikaru would jump on top of their vehicle and immediately let out a horn honk to signal that displeasure rather loudly. It was their car after all, it was not particularly, enjoyable of an event.

Once in the air, location might be a bit more difficult to figure out. They were roughly one hundred and thirty five miles out in the middle of no where, surrounded by hills, and trees along the road. Two other towns would likely be more visible in the distance to the north and east, instead of the unnoticable speck that is the city that Hikaru came from way off to the south.

Hikaru flew up a bit higher before heading off South. She may have been in a van when they took her and asleep during half the trip, but she still had an exceptionally good sense of direction, especially after spending so long looking at the world from above.

As Hikaru would make the trip back to the city people would likely notice some object flying by but may have had some trouble identifying what. A few inside of cars passing by would try and have passengers take out their phones in order to record or take note of the event. Some of the hills and trees may help even further to block the view if one flew close to them.

Hikaru knew better than to blatantly fly over the city, so she landed before getting too close. She took a moment to conceal her wings and the black halo above her head, once again appearing to be normal. She then began following the road on foot to get back to the city.

Approaching the city Hikaru may notice an odd bus heading on its way down the road or perhaps a somewhat horrifying one depending if she noticed. In the case of mortals it would likely appear as just some odd grey bus like any other grey bus that went across country. Those of more spiritual nature or with more spiritual insight may instead recognize it appearing as a monstrosity. It would look like a large pulsing muscle, with different reddish fibers running across it and moving and shifting about at different intervals. Continuing onward to the next bus stop.

Hikaru glanced at the bus before dismissing it as a mere oddity. She was too focused on her own troubles to investigate it. She glanced up to recognize what part of the city she was in and figure out which way she needed to go to get back to the park.

The bus was let go on its way to the nearest bus stop in the city to apparently function like almost any other bus upon the route. There were likely some raggedy houses currently around the outskirts of the area, mostly looking pretty fragile out of date with some old fashioned small brick buildings and apartments. The park was a long walk from the current spot..

Hikaru continued walking. She recognized this part of the city, vaguely. She could figure out her way from where she was and reach the park herself. She didn't mind having to walk. So long as she didn't use her powers, she wouldn't get tired anyway.

Someone would get off at the bus stop near the park not too far ahead. It seemed they would be quick to cross the street and sit upon one of the swings for a moment. Only to sit there still for a few moments and look at their surroundings and the sky above. Mostly trying to figure out the current time of day it currently was. They didn't have a charged cellphone or a watch on them currently.

Hikaru looked around as she walked by the park. She hasn't really considered how she would go about finding her friend. She had passed before ever really learning how to find people. Aside from looking down from the clouds of course.

There was a long black cat sitting upon the swings at the park. It seemed to them that not many were particularly around this day, but most of the park had seemed to be wet from rain still. They had no idea what the current time was but was getting the sense of where they were again. Figuring out where the park is, inside the city and of course figuring out where they were by an extension.

There appeared to be someone else walking by the park. Perhaps they would know the time. "Hey!" The person on the swing had called out.

Hikaru flicked her ears as she paused and looked towards the swing. She stood still for a moment before walking over to see what the person wanted.

The person on the swing was wearing what appeared to be a sleeveless blue dress shirt that went down the knees and some shorts though they were mostly hidden under the shirt (except for a pair of headphones that stuck out from there). "Would you mind telling me what time of day it is?" The Black Cat asked. Their presence may be a bit off-putting for those with slight spiritual detection or awareness.

Hikaru paused before looking up. She pointed at the sun. "It's around noon." She looked back to the person on the swing, wondering how they couldn't figure that out themself.

The person on the swing looked up toward the swing briefly as Hikaru pointed up toward it. Once the answer was given they would proceed to swing back and forth of course. "Around noon, guess I have a couple of hours to kill. Should probably visit one of those, restaurants." The person said out loud. They looked over toward Hikaru and smiled just a little. "thanks for that, you're angel."  they would state before swinging a bit more, trying to plan out the rest of their day it seems..

Hikaru shrugged, passing the comment off as a mere expression. "All I did was give the time."

(Sorry for not responding. I didn't know this had been moved to the new site and just now happened to find it.)

\The person chuckled and actually began to swing back and forth upon the swing. Seems they were a bit more relaxed now or as of this moment. “While that may be true, it does not change the fact of that statement really.” Their tail swished back and forth in a rather pleasant seeming mood.

They continued on as they swung back and forth. “Also, when it comes to time in this world, it feels rather hard to tell on occasion. It is a construct which I ought to get used to but I believe I was here last summer. I hope it is rather that season again, or else some issues may arise if not.” They continued to swing about, more of a light swishing back and forth really.

Hikaru looked at them for a moment before glancing around. "I should get going. I have things I need to do..."

The person slowed down in their current swinging back forth to better their attention. Instead slowly coming to a stop from moving back and forth to focus their attention back upon the friendly face. They let out a bit of a pout in disappointment. "What kind of things and where are you planning to head off to?" The person asked looking at Hikaru curiously. They had little to do for the next few hours and not much currently on their mind. The friendly person heading off elsewhere caused curiosity mostly out the boredom. "If you need get lunch or something, I could probably offer.." The person stated somewhat quietly.

Hikaru shook her head. "I need to find someone living somewhere nearby. I don't really have much to go on, so I'd like to start looking soon."
