Fallen (Thane Korino & Fangs9090)

The figure chuckled somewhat again and slowly reached down into one of their pockets. They seemed, oddly pleased to a degree or perhaps just entertained. The figure slowly slipped out a small knight action figure from their pocket. "Well, in a sense the answer is yes but a bit more than that." The figure toyed somewhat with the action figure and its amazing moveable arm functions!

"I'm a bit terrible when it comes to getting to the point really. I guess it is perhaps best to ask, how was your trip back and how did it occur?"

Hikaru watched the figure mess with the little. She was amazed at how well it moved and wondered where he had gotten it and if she could find one of the show she used to watch. After a few moments of watching it, she blinked, returning her focus to the matter at hand. "Trip back...from where? What do you mean?"

The person continued to toy with the figure for a little while and seemed rather amused by it for a while. He had finally stopped when Hikaru popped up the question. It seemed she was not the only one distracted by it as the figure had to be slipped away to avoid further distraction. "Heaven, hell, the great beyond, that.. in between place the spirit world, whatever you want to call it or whatever your saw." The person shrugged honestly. "Many try to force themselves to forget though.."

Hikaru fell silent once again, still wondering who this person could be and how they could know what they seem to know. She glanced away for a few moments before shaking her head and looking to the figure. "I can't answer that. Not before you tell me who you are. Then I'll consider it."

The person let out a bit of a shrug and chuckled looking around. "Just call me the Roach, everyone else seems to do so already. It's not like you would recognize my name since I've never been directly introduce to you in the first place." The roach began reaching under his hoodie and scratching at one of his cheeks. "Think I prefer a car over a hammer to the skull really." The person let out a groan. "or burning alive." The Roach seemed to add with a bit of a small gesture toward the assailant by the door.

The assailant let out an annoyed grunt in response.

Hikaru glanced back at the assailant and paused for a moment before looking to the Roach again. Her expression was a bit more serious now. "What all do you already know about me? And what do you want with me now?"

The assailant was glanced at for a brief moment. It may be noticed that the assailant returned a glare, a rather weak attempt in intimidation.

The Roach seemed to let out a bit of a chuckle at the change of expression. It seemed to take a while to bring such to the surface, then again he was being terribly roundabout with the conversation. "Mm', nothing much besides what was put in the papers. Death by car accident near a park or pretty much at it really. Research department isn't very in depth really." The roach shrugged somewhat. "What do we want with you? Hrm, information mostly or anything that you may have noticed before your, unexpected return."

Hikaru pause for a moment. "What exactly do you mean by 'unexpected return?' And if all you know about me is from a newspaper, how were you able to find me so quickly now? And...why can't you get to the point?" She tilted her head as her tone changed to one of curiosity.

The Roach simply seemed to lean back and reply with a chuckle. He did not want to or care to elaborate further upon how they found Hikaru, as that information was to remain secret. "None of that particularly matters, yet. Besides me needing to work on my speaking skills" The Roach said with a groan and started to stand up from his chair. "If you recall anything from your time before your return or during it, that would be helpful enough to avoid catastrophe."

Hikaru went silent for a moment, considering his words and thinking back on what she knew. Hard as she tried, she could not piece them together. "What do mean by a catastrophe? ...what exactly do you think I am?"

The Roach seemed to lean back in his chair. He honestly wanted to pull out the figure again but that would just waste more time and be a distraction wouldn't it. "Can't say for sure honestly besides someone who returned from death." He groaned a bit. "But let's say, people started return from death. Think that would be nice? Even the serial killers and so on? Even those from thousands of years ago coming back and causing destruction and mass insanity?" The Roach stated.

Hikaru paused for a long moment, considering his words carefully. After a while, she shook her head. "I'm not what you think I am. At least, not in the way you're thinking of it. I didn't come back to life. I'm still dead."

The Roach began to slowly stand out of his chair. He was growing rather uncomfortable just sitting in it for so long and instead moved behind it. His hands were placed upon the back of the chair and he looked forward toward Hikaru. He seemed to let out a bit of a groan in confusion, using his left hand to pinch at the bridge of his muzzle.

The assailant let out a bit of a chuckle. "All this life and death crab-apple is really confusin' ain't it?" The assailant mentioned looking toward the Roach. Seemed both were still trying to get a better grasp or understanding of the situations at hand.

Hikaru glanced down before looking at the roach again. "Perhaps...I should clarify." She lifted her hands, a black sword appearing to cut the ropes binding them. The sword vanished as she held her arms out, a pair of black, feathered wings sprouting from her back and a black ring appearing above her head.

The roach watched as this event occurred with a mixture of slight curiosity but an odd sense of disappointment as well. It seemed odd to feel both of those at this moment as he watched the ropes be cut off from Hikaru's wrists and black wings sprouted from her back. He did not yet formulate a verbal response to this but simply looked at Hikaru for the time being.

The assailant was very quick to act and rush forward as soon as the sword had appeared from virtually no where. They would immediately rush the step or two forward toward Hikaru and place their knife near or up to the back of her neck. Preparing for offensive action if need be. They may have been a bit over reactive but seeing as the bindings were cut and the person could summon or had weaponry with them it seemed the best option.

Hikaru paused for a moment before first addressing the assailant. "I won't attack unless I'm attacked first. A knife won't do much anyway." She shifted her focus back to the Roach, awaiting his reply.

The assailant was not put much at ease by the statement that was given. If anything they wished to have a pistol along with them but it was not currently on their person. No matter they simply held the weapon in its current position.

The Roach let out a bit of a groan. "Fallen Angel, I'm going to guess. Either that or some similiar snapple.." He said and slipped out the figure from earlier. It seemed to relax him a little from the slight tense form that was building up.

Hikaru nodded as she eyed the figurine. "Yes. I was corrupted by darkness in a battle not long ago and fell to this realm." She paused for a moment. "Honestly, I don't have any idea what to do at this point."

The Roach rubbed at the back of his neck and continued playing with the figurine in hand. He didn’t notice Hikaru looking at the figurine since he was rather looking elsewhere or rather being quite unfocused in truth. He was taking sometime to mull over or try and process what had been said and what could that mean outside of the situation. For example, is it possible for more Fallen Angels to show up, if so that might be a problem and it could possibly be worse a problem if demons rose up. Then again it may depending on which ones.

It was starting to sound a lot like a cartoon or, one of those ‘animes’ he had heard of a couple of times. Those where still a thing, right? A brief image of tree of life hierarchy flashed across his mind but he barely knew what it was or its meaning.

“Either way sounds like a problem is going to arise sooner or later, as for yourself you could probably fix that. I mean, taking one of those self-redeeming quests, oaths, prayers or what have you.” The roach stated and tried to keep his thoughts straight.

Hikaru paused for a moment before she shrugged. "I'm not sure if there is a fix. I didn't fall because of something that I did or felt. I fell because I was corrupted by darkness. I've heard of it happening before, but none of those tales ended with the angel returning to their former standing. In fact, most end with them becoming demons..." She looked down at the floor, clearly troubled.

The Roach scratched under their muzzle in their hood, which may have been a bit hard to notice since it would be hard to notice their facial features at all really. He seemed to let out a bit of a groan at the mentioning of just being 'corrupted' by darkness. It did not sit well with him, or at least the idea of it seemed rather, off or wrong but he would not state this out right at the moment.

"All the more reason to try harder than the rest of them! Unless of course, you want to become a demon, your choice really." The Roach stated, already having met a variety of the few in the past. Most of them simply glimpses of visions or images in his head rather than a complete and clear memory.

Hikaru shook her head. "I don't want to become like them, but I really don't know how to avoid it." She paused for a moment. "I had been hoping to find someone before, but I didn't know where to look. I went to places we used to go to, but it was foolish to think he'd still visit them."

The Roach simply went along with such and let out a bit of a shrug. He was otherwise uncertain on what else to throw out there directly at this time being. It was rather still a new territory or are to be thought about. He would perhaps need to reach out a bit more with theological researchers and some others. He doubted that he could get in contact with any other world figures, or perhaps he could do just that.

"You probably could have just looked Juno up in a phone book." The Roach stretched their arms out. "He doesn't live all too far from that... Mt. Colossus or something he used to call it?" The Roach groaned and rubbed at his temples. Planning or thinking of something a bit, ridiculous perhaps but likely possible. Giving a glance up toward the Assailant whom was still ready to strike at any moment. "We need to get silver and gold rings, chalk, sage, and a birch wand next time we are out." The Roach let out a huff. "and maybe some.. quartz or something..."

Hikaru's eyes widened as she looked at the Roach. "W-wait, you know Juno? And-" She paused. "Mt.... How do you know about all of that? That was decades ago..."

The Roach let out a bit of a chuckle and went back to the figurine once more. "Thought I already mentioned Mt.Colossus already, my bad. Anywho since it seems you have nothing currently to offer or discuss nor do I have much else to give you. Perhaps it is time for your departure." The Roach let out a shrug, and toyed with the figure a bit longer.
