Fallen (Thane Korino & Fangs9090)

Hikaru continued walking with them. Not only was she curious about what they wanted, but she also knew there was little they could actually do to her. She tried to look back again.

The assailant continued to walk backward toward the said vehicle in the alleyway. The assailant's grip being rather loosened from before, looking back toward the SUV would likely be easy. The windows of the SUV were rather tainted purple as to make it difficult to look inside and make out the features of objects and people inside, especially at a distance. "Get in."The assailant tried releasing their grip from Hikaru rather slowly and quickly trying to move in front of them A better positioning image might help that the assailant was trying to place Hikaru between themselves and the SUV which had its left backdoor open. They held the knife outward in a sort of elegant stance as if preparing to strike or lunge forward with a quick jab at a moments notice or sign of resistance.

Hikaru looked at the SUV before stepping to it and climbing in. She sat down and looked around for a moment before looking back to the assailant. "Where exactly are we going?"

The Assailant immediately tried slamming the door closed behind Hikaru as she entered the SUV. It seemed the back windows were even more tinted on the inside making it night impossible to make out details outside of it. General shapes might be noticed outside of the window. There seemed to be a bunch of wall between the front seats and the back seats to block the view of the back passengers. The assailant tried immediately hopping into the passenger's seat next to the driver. "Let's go." The assailant stated. The driver began to put the car in drive and tried heading off elsewhere.

Hikaru blinked and continued looking around at the inside of the van. She stretched her arms out before leaning against the wall. She seemed very calm about the whole situation and it was hard to tell if she really understood what was actually happening.

(Sorry for the late reply. There was some yard work that needed to be done.)

The inside of the van besides the wall between the front and back, and the tinted windows did not really have much else special about it. There oddly may be a french fry or two lying upon the van's carpet like floor. It had some cup holders where the arm rest appeared to be poking out from the front side. The driver continued on out of the alleyway. Quickly trying to head more to the suburbs of the city.

Hikaru kept sitting there in the van. The longer she sat the more she got the feeling that this had nothing to do with her bug friend. Still, she was curious about what exactly would happen, so she kept waiting. After sitting there for a good while, she started humming a little tune to try and make the time pass a little quicker.

The van continued on its route to a certain destination along a highway that heads outside of town and almost halfway across the country if completely followed. The driver and passenger had been chatting a little as the car was going along in very quiet mutters about things that were not particularly important and may have been difficult to hear. They oddly had turned on some punk rock on a low volume while the driving was going along for quite sometime.

The humming of the tune may have definitely helped to pass the time by. As the van itself had been driving anywhere between half an hour and two hours before it reached its destination of sorts. The sound of gravel could be heard crunching under the tires of the van. It had soon come to a complete stop and parked. The sound of the front doors opening could likely also be heard.

Before the previous assailant went over to Hikaru’s door and pulled on the handle to open it. “Get out.” Was the simple following command.

Hikaru didn't respond as she had decided to take a nap at some point during the drive and was now asleep in her seat. The only sign she gave was a flick of her ear, though she hadn't actually noticed anything happening around her.

The previous assailant had let out an impatient groan of sorts. This had not exactly occurred a lot among people that were taken but when it was, it was quite the annoying thing. Despite this it gave some opportunity. The assailant pulled out a strong rope and quickly tried binding it tighly around Hikaru's wrists while she was still asleep.

The physical contact was enough to wake Hikaru. She yawned before blinking her eyes. She lifted a hand to rub her eyes but paused as she noticed the ropes. She looked at it before gently pulling against it to test it. She tilted her head, looking rather confused. "What's this?"

The assailant was somewhat pleased with their hurried work of binding Hikaru's wrists with rope. It was an odd thing to take pride in but still it was impressive to them for a reason or another. The rope and the way it was tied together was quite strong. The knot on the rope was however basic and simple. Pulling against the rope, especially gently would yield practically no result in a shift from the binding. "Insurance, now get out." The assailant said rather loudly just in case the other had simply been hard of hearing or paying attention.

They stood rather ready by the door. In order to lead Hikaru further to their destination.

Hikaru looked at the rope again. She paused for a moment before shrugging and standing up. She walked over to the door and hopped down out of the van. She stepped forward and looked around to see where they were.

The assailant began to get behind Hikaru and tried nudging her forward softly with their left elbow. Hoping to get the person moving in that general direction. Their weapon or knife from earlier was well hidden or placed away upon their person from the time being. "Alright, tie.me to get moving again. Not much further of a walk from here."

The ground around was gravel and other small rocks and perhaps even some odd bits of food and stuff thrown from off the side of the road. The general area would likely appear to be out in the middle of no where. The group was off the side of an interstate road. The most that could be seen was a bunch of large hills and valleys and so on but probably very few actual landmarks in the area. That was excluding were the assailant was trying to lead Hikaru toward, a building of sorts. It would appear to be some kind of cement bunker with a steel door that was already open.

Hikaru walked along rather calmly, glancing back as she was nudged forward. She wondered where they were as she looked around. She had certainly never seen the area before. She looked ahead at the building they were nudging her towards and tilted her head, wondering what could be inside.

The assailant tried to rather quickly lead Hikaru inside the building. The calm pacing was odd but in a sense considered 'ideal' by most in this situation. The assailant somewhat disagreed as they wanted to get Hikaru inside the bunker as quickly as possible and finish what they were supposed to be doing. Perhaps it was from the assumption that if the captured person (being Hikaru) did try to escape it was unlikely to be successful by this point.

Hikaru walked along at whatever pace they set, looking back at the assailant. "Where are we?"

The pace that the assailant set was a bit of a fast paced walk toward the bunker. Hopefully into the building of sorts off the side of the highway as well as they wanted. If successful in leading Hikaru inside the bunker itself they would quickly close the door behind them. Making the room or area inside seem quite dimly or barely lit at all. If not the assailant would try to nudge Hikaru inside. "In the middle of no where." That was as much as the assailant was going to say.

Hikaru continued to not resist. She blinked as her eyes adjusted to the lack of light. She looked around a bit before asking another question. "What are we doing here?"

The assailant would put a lock bolt in place on the door to make sure that it would stay shut and not capable of opening from the outside. The inside of the room seemed to be large enough for a home office but seemed to be made out of cement brick. There was a wooden table in the center of the room and two chairs. One of them on the opposite side of the table from Hikaru seemed to be already filled with an occupant. An occupant in a simple black hoodie with blue stripes along the sleeves.

"Decent enough question." The other occupant said while sitting in their chair. "What are we doing here? On this earth, alive."

The hooded figure smirked somewhat and leaned forward in their chair. They were feeling a bit smug of themselves at the moment as they looked to Hikaru, as if they well knew them. "Well, it is a simple philosophical question really. A pretty standard one that nearly everyone asks or all civilizations have at one point or another." The person slowly leaned back in their chair and placed their cat like paws upon the wooden table. "that is, unless it gains some slightly different meaning such as if by some miracle one were to avoid or escape death.

Hikaru blinked and glanced away at the mention of death. She looked back to the figure in the chair. "And...why would you say that...?" Hikaru squinted her eyes a little, trying to see the face underneath the hood as she shifted her feet and tugged on the ropes around her wrists again.

The hooded figure let out a bit of a familiar chuckle and continued to seem quite relaxed. Then again, this was their place wasn't it? The figure waved a gloved hand dismissively. "Just theorizing and think is all my dear." The hooded figure mentioned. "Quite a few have been said to cheat death after all before haven't they? Some,... longer than others." Squinting and trying to get a better look at the figure would seem relatively unhelpful. There were no definite features sticking out about them the most that could likely be made out is the color black and a show of teeth every now and then when talking. The ropes, were still holding strong even after the tug. They may have loosened a little but if so, very little.

The assailant behind Hikaru was growing somewhat, wary.

Hikaru shifted again, glancing round some more. "So, did you being me here just to discuss...death?" She kept her eyes narrowed, wondering who this was and why they had her brought here. They couldn't know what she was. There was no way.
