Fallen (Thane Korino & Fangs9090)

The girl blinked before opening the door slightly more. "Um, hello. Are you looking for someone?"

The person at the door perked up somewhat. Seeming confused and surprised. They nearly dropped all the boxes. "Er, um..just, my friend..."

"Oh. I think they're in the shower at the moment." The girl looked towards the door that she assumed was the bathroom. She looked back to the person at the door as she opened it a little more. "I guess you can come in?"

The sound of running water of a shower was starting die down to more or less a stop. The shower could no longer be heard running in the background. The person at the door immediately tried to slip their way right on inside the room and take a look about. Although try tried choking down their nervousness. This seemed a very weird situation.

The girl closed the door and walked back over to the couch. She sat down and looked at the little bug on the table. She held her hand out to it and it climbed on. She kept her hand close to herself, just in case someone meant to do her new friend harm.

The person holding the boxes seemed quite awkward at the moment. Uncomfortable at the sight of the bug upon the other girl's hand. It was also still somewhat surprising and odd that someone else was here! They simply stood there holding the boxes and keeping their eyes upon the door. Hoping that this was indeed the right room to be in and that they did not mess up.

Someone had stepped out of the bathroom! For the most part they seemed covered up by a large baggy hoodie and a pair of jeans. They were definitely tall but not many other features could be made out yet. The hands were even hidden away into the hoodie pockets. "Seems like there is someone unexpected here. Cool, what's your name?" They looked over to Hikaru.

The girl looked over at them. "My name's Hikaru. Someone told me I could stay here for a while." She glanced at her hand before looking back to the one in the hoodie. "My friend can stay too, right?" She lifted her hand a little.

The dog had began to slink off deeper into the room finding a nice small corner to place themselves in. Sitting down quietly as otherwise unsure of what to do. Rather feeling uncomfortable but not wanting to outright admit such. Setting down the boxes on the floor.

The person in the hoodie let out a wave in response to Hikaru giving out her name. "Oh? Guess that might have been Sis." They simply shrugged and looked over to their friend huddled over in the corner. "your friend someone else is h-" they jumped at the sight of a bug. "Oh gosh, what the flip are you doing with a bug on your hand!?" They were clearly freaking out.

She looked at the little bug. "This is my friend. I found him in the alley I had been in and he wanted to tag along with me. He's harmless, so you don't need to be scared of him." She smiled at the one in the hoodie.

They continued to back away and continued to freak out it seems. Breathing heavily and practically panting from doing so. It seems they were definitely not a fan of bugs or at least this particular one.

The other in the corner simply stated. "You may want to hide your friend elsewhere for a while.."

The hooded one seemed to be stuck in the state of freaking out and panic and quickly made a dash into the bathroom. The dash was more or less a launch or leap into it the nearby bathroom. A hollow thud would result afterwards seeing as the hoodied one would likely end up landing right inside the still wet tub inside the bathroom. His breathing was still quite crazy and erratic. He tried to calm himself down.

The dog in the corner more or less let out a sigh and put down all the boxes they were currently holding. Most of them seemed to be boxes containing games but there was one or two that seemed be pizza boxes and another that was indeed a cardboard shoe box! "Catch." the dog simply muttered in a rather quiet tone. Before lobbing the box in the general direction Hikaru. The edges of the box were a bit sharp so those may be a bit of a concern for paper cuts.

Hikaru looked over in the direction of dog and, seeing the box flying towards her, ducked to avoid it. She looked back at the box as it came to a stop on the couch before looking to the dog again. "Thank you." She set the bug down on the table and picked up the box. She then unsheathed one of her claws and started to work at cutting a little hole in the box. It took a bit of work, but after a little while, she had completed the hole. She set the box down on the table next to the bug and smiled at it. "Here you go. This is for you." The bug looked at her before turning to the box. After a moment of hesitation, it crawled inside and seemed to get comfortable. Hikaru smiled again and sat back. She looked towards the bathroom and called out to the one who had taken to hiding. "It's okay now!"

The dog was somewhat surprised that Hikaru had ducked from a shoe box coming at her and found it somewhat silly. Then again, the dog was not particularly loud in giving way as to that something was heading toward Hikaru. Since they were not particularly bold or loud in presence and quite the opposite really. They began putting the boxes out in front of them instead of all stacked up in order to choose a particular game to play or at least look at for a little while. There was some of the more basic looking tile and word games and the more adventurous and dice involving ones among them. The one the dog was particularly eyeing was 'Road Travels'. Which seemed to be a modern supernatural kind of game with a picture of a road and some shadowy figure crossing it.

The one with the hood took a time to hear Hikaru. Rather, started slowly peaking out of the bathroom a moment or two before it was mentioned to be 'okay'.

Hikaru leaned down and looked into the box through the hole she made. She paused as she realized she didn't know what the bug would eat. She figured she would try some different things later. She sat back up and looked towards the bathroom before smiling. "I don't think you told me your name."

The person in the hoodie took a deep breath. Somewhat relieved that there was no particular threat or bug to be seen in the room at this very moment. They stepped out of the bathroom rather slowly and leaned against the nearby wall from it. "Edmund Brundie." He started seeming to try and keep their heart rate down by taking relaxing breath and putting his left hand upon his chest.

The dog in the corner simply continued looking among the boxes. Trying to figure out which game to choose really. One that would be simple but not too simple and fun. That seemed to knock out most of the word and tile games. They looked at the dice rpgs, those were fun especially 'Road Travels' but they may be a bit complex for someone new to be playing them. They began reaching over toward a pizza box in the corner thinking about simply eating on it until a decision is made.

Hikaru nodded to him. "It's nice to meet you, Edmund." She turned her head to look at the dog in the corner. "And what about you? What's your name?" She tilted her head with a smile.

Edmund continued to approach away from the bathroom and up toward the couch. Immediately trying to leap over the couch and land upon it to sit down as well. He let out a sigh of relief and rather not think about where the bug had gone or where it was. Instead he simply began to lean back on the couch and stare up at the ceiling.

The dog in the corner briefly looked up to Hikaru and then ducked their head back down. "Stella.." she muttered.

There was a brief knock on the door in which Edmund muttered. "That must be sis.."

Hikaru smiled to her. "It's nice to meet you too." She looked towards the door when heard the knock and then looked to Edmund as he spoke. "Does someone else live here too?" She was beginning to wonder just how many people she was about to be living with and how long she would be living with them.

Edmund stretched out for a moment. It seemed no one else was volunteering for opening the door duty so it was up to him. He began standing up and getting off the couch before walking over toward the door to unlock it. "I would not say 'live' here exactly. They drop by once in a while though." He waved his hand as he approached the door to open it.

Stella simply began setting up a game from one of the boxes. Placing down the game board carefully which was followed by the game pieces and dice.

Hikaru watched Edmund go to the door before looking over at Stella. It seemed to her like everyone just did their own thing here. She wasn't really sure what she would or could do. She looked back to the door to see who had arrived.

Edmund opened the door just a creak and looked to the person beyond it. "Mind telling me if you invited this person to crash for the night?" He whispered around the creaked open door. Before opening the door to its fullest.

"No idea, going to crash myself!" A deer or 'the deer' from earlier came rather rushing into the apartment. Seeming rather soaked and without her umbrella. She walked quite quickly through the living room. "hey stella." she briefly waved at the dog in the corner of the room. The deer quickly walked forward and went toward the bedroom.

Hikaru watched the deer enter and walk through the room. She honestly was not very well aware of what exactly this setup was and was pretty much getting more confused by the minute. She considered going out for a walk to get away from the confusion, but then she remembered it was raining.

The deer quickly entered the bedroom on the other side of the apartment and closed the door behind her. A faint squeaking of the springs inside a mattress may possibly be heard from beyond the wall but it was quite unlikely.

Edmund had to roll his eyes in the mean time and closed the door behind him. Starting to lean against it with his arms crossing his chest. Briefly anyways as he had to move onto locking the apartment door itself with a small 'click'. He looked over to Stella whom seemed to be eating a slice of pizzza.

Upon receiving a small nod from Stella he took in a deep breath and tried to relax a bit more. "We're going to play a game. Wanna join? Unless you're going to be headed out elsewhere but a thunderstorm is headed this way I think. Last time I checked the news..." He scratched at the back of his head with his left hand. Before muttering. "last week I think it was.."

Hikaru smiled and nodded. "Yeah, playing a game sounds fun. You might have to explain it first though. I'm not too familiar with very many games." She looked over towards Stella to see if she could figure out which of the games they were going to play.
