Fairy tail

[Caits]

A future fairy tail and future fiore where magic is now integrated fully with technology in the same sense as edolas, only magic power is still infinite in earthland. Common people have some grasp on magic and wizard guilds across fiore are consolidating power and becoming massive alliances. The baram allince has been reformed with three new dark guilds at its centre, and the magic council's power and grip on the magic world is waning. Magnolia is still thriving and Fairy Tail is growing stronger as is its alliance with Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus. With the magic council weakening, dark guilds have become more bold and many allied guild wage wars against other alliances. Fairy Tail is being threatened by a newly established Phantom Lord and the other dark guilds in their alliance.

[Caits]

Sasha was running down the street. She had woken up late, which wasn't such an issue, but she knew that there would be new jobs on the board, and she was looking forward to choosing on. She moved through the crowd, her pack bumping against her back, smiling and shouting back hellos and greetings to people that called her by name. She was wearing pants and a short top, to better show of her guild mark. Fairy Tail. Her long blue-black hair was flowing behind her, the ribbon she usually tied it up with crammed in a pocket.


She reached the guild hall, laughing at her own foolishness, and slammed against the bar, ordering food and a drink with a smile for the bartender. While she waited for her food, she looked to the board, seeing the new jobs. Now that she was here, she was content to wait. And the food called to her. So now she settled down to eat, looking about the guild hall, loving the liveliness of it.

Kuro: Walking down the streets, I smiled as I herd the lively chatter of peopleI was new to this town, the lively town of Magnolia. I had herd there was a big guild around here, Fairy Tail and I was hoping to maybe join up. Being new to the area, I wasn't sure where exactly it was located but I figured I'd find it soon enough. I had to find it fast, I had some annoying uh...people on my trail who thought they could pick me off easily among other things. They kept randomly attacking me and it wasn't like they were hard to fight off, but not being in like a guild made it hard to like lock them up or whatever.


Anyway! This place was so cool! I hadn't been around, like alive around, back when things were less magic central. I'd herd stories and it existed everywhere else of course but it was still cool to see it in this particular town. Suddenly out of nowhere, more of those people appeared and started chasing me down the streets. I cursed and ran off, heading down to who knows where. There were like 7 of them, all armed with weapons and some with magic. They chased me all over town, firing at me from hiding places. The cowards! Darting down one street, I find myself in front of the Fairy Tail Guild. "Well, this is one way to find it" I murmur to myself a bit amused. I glance behind me and see they've stopped since I was near an official guild, who by the way was very powerful.


I smiled some and jogged over to the big door, pulling them open easily as I entered and stood there, looking around for a moment or two. Some people noticed, some didn't either way they were all about to notice me. "Hello!"

 

[Caits]

Sasha looked up as someone entered the guild calling out hello. She was sure she had never seen her before, but that didn't mean anything. Seeing that the master wasn't there, Sasha rose, her food finished, and approached the girl, with a friendly smile. "Hi" she said "I'm Sasha. Welcome to Fairy tail!" She said, brightly, "are you interested in joining? The master isn't here, but I know what to do. This is the guild hall, the common area! Over there is the request board, and up stairs is the S class area. Most members can't go up there yet. At the back, there's dorms but they're a bit pricey" she explained "we have a library downstairs too" she smiled


She studied the girl, and then said "so, are you looking to join? If so, where do you want your guild mark and what colour?" She was sure the master was happy to accept everyone "the master would be here to great you, but I believe that she's at the guild masters meeting" she explained, feeling a bit foolish

Kuro: I got a collective set of hellos and a few even walked over as I moved into the area some. Everyone was so nice here! I looked over as one girl came up and started talking to me, pointing out where everything was. I just laughed when she was done, nodding slightly "Well hello Sasha, I'm Kuro. It's nice to meet you and everyone else" I say with a smile. "I am indeed looking to join, I've herd many great things about this guild so I decided to come here. I got a bit lost so I would've been here earlier but hey, here I am now!" I say with a light chuckle. I adjust my sword that sat on my hip, and start to pull my jacket off my shoulders, my gaze sliding over to the now gathering audience. I smirk slightly as I notice the men/boys mostly looking at my chest area more then anything, they were just as perverted as I herd, how amusing.


I tease them and let it slide down my arms slowly, stopping at my elbows as I turn to them slightly with a flat out smirk towards them. I laugh at their expression when they find there wasn't really anything to see (obviously there's a bit more chest game then the pic I chose xD think like..Levy or something xD idk haha) not that I really cared. I also had a necklace on that I loved, it had a meaning behind it but that doesn't need to be told right now."Black and on myself shoulder please" I say rolling my white t-shirt up some so she could stamp the guild mark on. I wondered when the master would be back, I wanted to speak with them, most for formalities and all. I smiled over at Sasha, tipping my head some "Thank you for welcoming me here"

 

[Caits]

Sasha watched the behavior of Kuro with mildy amusement, looking over the male members if the guild. Easily distracted and easily looking at the new girls form, and it was clear that they appreciated it and she was just egging them on. It was amusing, but Sasha just rolled her eyes. She had quickly made it clear to the guys in the guild that she wasn't interested in entangling herself with them other then with friendship.


She shifted, and took the guild marker from behind the bar, before turning to Kuro, and gently placing it on her shoulder making sure it was on the right place before pressing down hard, and then removed it to reveal a black fairy tail mark. She smiled, satisfied and said "there you go. You shouldn't coax the boys on. They'll just pester you forever" she said stepping back and returning the marker, leaning over the bar to do so. She then tied her hair up, and out of her face as if she just remembered about it

Kuro: Nodding my thanks, I study the guild mark with a happy smile. I just laughed as Sasha told me not to tease the boys "Oh they can pester me, they just might get knocked out for a bit" I say with an amused expression. I look around the lively guild, leaning against the bar now as I just watched them all. "So, when will the Master be back? I want to speak with him but if he wont be back for a bit I might as well go onto my first mission" I say turning to Sasha curiously. I rolled my shirt sleeve back down and pulled my jacket back around my shoulders, adjusting it to how I pleased.


With that, I went over to the mission bored to see what there was to do. There was so many options to choose from and I wasn't sure where to start. I hummed thoughtfully before laughing aloud and shaking my head "Let's see, I don't want to start off to easy but not to hard either...how about this one maybe...? Or that one.." I mutter, talking to myself now as I looked at them all. My gaze glanced up to the upper part where the S class missions were, wondering what kind of missions lay up there. I smiled, I had a new goal now: get to S class level.

 

[Caits]

"Master Penny is, I believe, at the guild masters meeting. Typically that goes all day, so I expect we won't see her until tomorrow" Sasha said, following Kuro to the guild board, to read what new jobs there were. There were a couple of interesting ones, with Sasha reading a few she mused for a few minutes. One that Sasha read was entitled "the search for the miricle herb!" It detailed a desperate doctor in the city without sound, searching for a cure to a disease that had spread through the city. The doctor was sure that the herb she needed was in the forest nearby, but couldn't leave the city for fear her patients would die. Evidently though though there was an issue with disappearing mages who had tried to help.


Sasha frowned, taking the job of the board. She thought that some help would be in order for this, as she suspected that there was a dark guild targetin the mages trying to find the herb for the doctor. It's reward was 250,000 jewels, worth it in the long run. She turned to Kuro, "would you like to help me with this job? If we work together, it should only take us a day. Then you can speak with the master when we return" she gave her a bright smile, holding out the job for her to read. Sasha had been with the guild for nearly a year now, an hadn't teamed up with anyone yet, but sometimes she did realise she needed help on some missions

Kuro: I glanced over at her briefly and nodded as she tells me the Master would be gone for the rest of the day at the Master meeting thing. I looked back at the bored to look at all the requests again, smiling faintly in excitement. Looking at Sasha again, I look at the request she was suggesting. I raise an eyebrow curiously "Well that seems quite interesting" I remark taking the paper to study it. People disappearing...someone dying...interesting. I grin and hand the paper back to her "Sure thing, let's go on this one" I say stretching some. I run a hand through my hair, fixing my ponytail some. I never let it down, it was always up. Well unless it was a special occasion or I had to wash it but other then that, I hated leaving it down.


"So, what kinda magic do you use?" I ask curiously "And everyone here, what's the generalized magic type?" I ask looking around at everyone. Just looking at them all, I could tell this guild was filled with all kinds of people using all kinds of magic. I also wondered who was at the S class level, I wanted to see this amazing strength and power. Pulling my sword belt a bit tighter, I rest a hand lightly on the hilt out of habit. I liked to know that was there at all times since this particular sword meant something to me and all, I liked to keep myself armed with it.

 

[Caits]

Sasha smiled, going over to the bar, and telling the bar tender, Samuel, that she and Kuro were going on a job, and that they would be back either late tonight or tomorrow. She grabbed some food, putting it in her satchel for later, not wanting to risk eat at the city without sound if the place was over run by illness. She also didn't think they should spend more time there was absolutely necessary in the city. They couldn't risk getting sick themselves.


She looked over her shoulder when Kuro asked what type of magic she used. "Ice molding magic" She said brightly, "I inherited it from my parents. There's a whole variety of magic here. Molding magic-elemental magic, equip magic, guns magic and more. Master Penny's magic is lightening magic" She thought for a minute. "We have two S class mages, one who uses take over magic, the other who uses fire magic. both are out on long-term jobs, or jobs that last more then a week or so" She said. "One sec"


She jogged down to the library, and grabbed a book after a minute or two of looking and ran back upstairs. She flipped through the pages, looking for the herb so they wouldn't be completely ignorant of what they were looking for. "What's your magic?" She asked, looking up, marking a page and slipping the book into her satchel, "Something to do with the sword, obviously"

Kuro: I dont grab anything since I dint exactly own anything other then what I had with me. When traveling, I learned to carry few things as possible so it wasn't to much of a hassle. Looking back at Sasha as she speaks, I listen carefully as she names a few of the types of magic people used around here. I smiled "Well that's pretty cool, Ice Make is pretty" I say before she goes on telling me the other magic types and what kind the Master used. "Is the S class fire user a Dragon Slyer? Or just fire magic...?" I ask curiously except she had run off down to the library to get something. I raised an eyebrow and just stood there, waiting for her return. Glancing at the book she had, I realized it was something we needed considering I didn't know what the herb needed even looked like. I peered over she shoulder as she finds the page, marks it then slips it into her bag.


Leaning back I smile slightly "I do indeed use swords. I can also use guns but I don't use the as often. I just trained hard to learn the skills. I re-equip. I'm both 'The Knight' and 'Then Gunner', I use both styles. Just one alone is hard enough to master but since I started young, I managed to learn both." I say with a slight shrug. My memories pull up the days of my training, oh what fun. It was and wasn't, my Master was amazing and I loved her so much. But she disappeared one day and so I polished my skills before venturing off into this wonderful world of magic. Although at first I didn't see the difference of Dark Magic and not but figured it out soon enough and not in a way that I would've liked. But whats done is done, Ive learned from it all and now I think I'm a better person.


Stepping back, I re-equip in seconds from one armor to another, pausing in-between for a few moments. I also bring out the few guns I had and shrugged "Nothing fancy really, I mainly just use this sword" I say returning to my normal attire as I point to the sword at my side.

 

[Caits]

Sasha addressed the question about the S class fire Mage. "No, just a normal fire Mage. There haven't been any dragon slayers for ten years or so. Most likely, there will turn up some sooner or later" she said, "my parents insisted I learn history. So I did. Perhaps the most boring hours of my life" she said with a laugh, before falling silent and listening as Kuro talked about her abilities. Sasha just knew hand t hand combat, and her fighting abilities with her ice molding. That was it.


Kuro seemed to be able to help herself, and able to chance between one style and the next. That would be a tremendous advantage for her. Sasha filed that away. She enjoyed collecting information. "I don't really have a name I'm know by. Maybe I should call myself snow queen" this amused Sasha greatly and she smiled.


"I've always admired re-equipping magic. You always have a weapon on hand. And it's fascinating how it works-stuff in a void? It's amazing. Plus, you always get to collect more armor and gear" she said "I just have the same moves over and over"


She looked about, pondering for a minute "anyway, I got food and stuff for us, so we can head out now if you want"

I nodded slightly as she answered the question I'd asked before she'd disappeared down into the library. Well, still pretty cool. Dragon Slayers were fairly rare anyway, I'd never met one but I knew at some point, 3 of them existed in this particular guild. I laughed along with her as she tells me that her parents made her learn all this history and that it was boring. I had to agree to some degree, it could be boring but typically I found it pretty interesting.


"Snow Queen? Hmm wouldn't Ice Queen technically be more fitting?" I ask moving away from the counter. I shake my head a moment later "Wait no, you're to friendly to be an Ice Queen" I say with a laugh. Listening to what she said about my magic compared to hers was interesting to me since I found my magic a tad boring unlike hers. "Re-equiping magic certain is nice but Ice is still prettier. You can make it into any shape or for you want and the possibilities are endless. Sure I can collect armors but for me in specifics, I don't. I haven't collected any in like years and in a sense, it's just all the same old moves. I think Ice Magic is cool, it's always changing and getting stronger" I say with a smile.


I stretch again, for a moment "Anyway indeed, let's hop to it! I'm ready to get going to cure the sick, battle the evil and become the brave" I say with a laugh

 

[Caits]

"Ice queens just self serving. Snow queen will make people wonder-if she's snow queen then why does she use ice? Why not Ice queen! See it's already working, that was your first question!" Sasha said with a laugh and a smile, as she started out the guild hall, and leading the way through the city.


"Ice is pretty" Sasha agreed, "and I can make a lot out of it, but I want to be more then pretty. I want to be strong so I can help the guild" she said softly "I can fight, but it's all about accuracy really" she said, shrugging. "I'm strong but...my ice molding is stationary. It doesn't move really, it's all about objects. Other ice molding can be animals and they can move and attack. Mine I have to be creative"


She looked about then as they walked, smiling slightly. Magnolia was hers, and she would protect it. She would help and protect the guild, and she would help the lands of fiore. "I mean, I have my ice weapons like the sword and such, but still..." She shrugged

I smiled and listened to her talk about the whole Ice and snow Queen thing then go on about her magic and how she wanted to protect this town. I nodded something, thinking about it thoughtfully, it certainly was a good goal to reach, to protect the town you loved and fight for the guild who was your family, seemed pretty good to me. I guess at some point my own feelings would become something similar to that or at least I hoped they would. I was sure of it though, it might take some time, it might not, it just depended.


Looking over at Sasha, I remark a little on what she said last. "Like a little kid grows and matures into a teen and then the teen to a young adult, your magic will grow and develop along with you. You use it all the time so it's always changing. You'll be as strong as you want to be, just stay positive and upbeat, rely on your family back there and you'll make it" I say smiling as I walk along side her through the town. Now that I wasn't running through it, I could actually look at it and admire it.

 

[Caits]

Sasha nodded, and smiled, glancing at Kuro and watching her look about the city, magnolia was an awesome place, and one that she never got tired of exploring. She never thought she would find every nook and cranny of the city, but she would never stop exploring it. It was full of wonders and amazing people. And it was her city.


She shrugged, "ah, but not every kid is the same. They all grow up differently. All magic is different, no matter if it is the same type of magic as someone else's, it's always different" she said, "first time to magnolia?" She asked


She double checked she had everything before they left the city, so they wouldn't screw the mission up, and satisfied she slung her satchel over her shoulder and relaxed

I nod in agreement "Hm, that is quite true" I muse in agreement looking at her for a moment with a smile. I nod again with a laugh "This is indeed my first time here though I've herd many great stories about this place and your guild. It's an honor to now be apart of them" I remark looking back around the town as we walk through it. I swung my arms up and behind my head with a lazy smile "So, where is this mission? People are missing and some guy wants to get the meds but he can't? This'll be interesting. I'm excited, I've been itching to do something like this for ages" I say flashing a grin.


I drop my arms a moment later, my hands going to a hidden pouch on my sword belt. Opening it up, I poke through it for a moment before closing it and hiding it again "Where exactly do you guys stay? In the houses or apartments around here?" I wonder curiously a few minutes later as I looked at the houses. I'd forgotten till now I also should find a place to stay since I was planning to make this place my permeant home.


I was pretty sure I had enough money to get a place but it depended if I wanted to rent or buy, either way I'd have to earn more money to pay for everything. I literally had no belongings so I had to add in those costs. Oh boy this was going to be interesting.

 

[Caits]

"Our guild" Sasha said at once "it's yours now too" she said, tapping the guild mark she had placed on kuro's shoulder, and smiled. "As for the job" she took out the flyer. She read it out quickly "basically, the doctor is asking for help to find the herb. She would go herself, but she can't leave the patients. Half the city is sick and she is desperate for the herb. But the mages that have gone into the hills where the herb is known to be have disappeared" she said, shrugging "guess we will find out"


She shrugged again, "well, I have a place near the guild hall myself. I got a good deal on ot, and am actually six months ahead for rent, but the guild offers dorm rooms for 100,00 jewel a month" she said "you can always look for a place or..." And here Sasha hesitated, before continuing "my place has two bedrooms if you need somewhere to stay"

I smiled and nodded "Right..our guild..." I murmur. It was odd to call it that, I still considered it her guild rather then ours since I was still new and all. I mean, sure I had the emblem on my arm now but still, even then it just didn't feel right? I don't know, I can't really explain it but I'd adjust soon enough. I looked at her and the paper as she spoke, pretty much confirming what I'd asked. I nodded some and looked around "What herb is it?" I asked curiously. I didn't know to much about medicine, I only knew the basics for magic wounds and a bit more about regular ones but other then that, I was pretty useless. In a sense, I was amazed I got this far with all the encounters I'd been in...


I looked over at her again excitedly as she mentions places to stay and possibly being roommates. "Really? You wouldn't mind having basically a stranger as a roommate?" i asked. This would certainly save me the trouble of spending a lot to find everything I needed. "I can pay the next six months so we'll be like a year ahead! That'd save me a lot of trouble if I can, you don't have to agree to you and I being roomies and all" I say quickly with a grin over at her.

 

[Caits]

Sasha smiled, and nodded "it's better then having one of the guys as a room mate" she said with a laugh "I don't mind. Might be nice to have someone to live with" she said, and smiled again "haha, and then we don't have to worry about anything but food" she said.


"The herbs a rare kind, and apparently only grows in the mountains by the city without sound, and it's difficult to find because it looks similar to a more common herb, except that it has a different, even if it is slightly different shape, and a small, yellow flower, according to the book" she said, glancing to the map and starting in the direction of the city without sound


She looked up ahead, enjoying the warm day, and shrugged, rolling her shoulders, and stopped for a minute to roll up her pant legs, before continuing to walk

I chuckle and nod as I follow her down to the town that apparently made no sound? That was interesting, I'd never herd of a town that didn't make any sounds. Maybe it was like a metaphor or something? "I wont be a bother, I can promise that" I say a few minutes later. "And well, if I see a picture of it, I can probably find it with out picking the wrong one although the whole people disappearing is a bit is odd...." I say looking up at the sky. I smile slightly over at her as she rolls her pant legs up since it was rather warm out.


I roll up my jacket sleeves to my elbows, fixing my hair some before looking at Sasha to make sure she was set to go to. Once we were both ready, we set off to this town which was who knows how far away but it took like the whole rest of the day. By the time we got there it was early evening and the sun was somewhat just setting. We had a few hours of daylight left but I wasn't sure where to now. I looked at Sasha with an eyebrow aided, silently akin 'what next?'.

 

[Caits]

"The city without sound" Sasha said looking on it "the town was once a ghost town due to the experiments of resident Dark Mage Daphne. Daphne, who was trying to create artificial Dragons, decided to set her creations loose on the town, wanting to gather data for future research. The citizens are able to protect themselves by employing the spell, Hidden. However, Daphne uses her ownMagic to make them unable to dispel it, causing them to stay hidden for many years. The disappearance of the citizens subsequently lead to the city being called as the "City Without Sound" until Natsu Dragneel, Fairy Tails Fire dragon slayer, banished the curse. And here it is" she said, spinning about as she heard a sound


A woman, worn down and exhausted, gave a cry "oh you've made it! Thank you! I'm Sakumi, Dr Sakumi!" The doctor appeared harassed and desperate, and Sasha went up to her "it's okay, we will find the herb. Don't worry! We can go search now"


She looked over to Kuro, "right?"

I listened to the mini history lesson with fascination and curiosity. Man, this Natsu person seemed pretty cool, I wished I could've met him. Actually I wished I could've meet the lot of them, I knew they had been trapped at the scared place where they made members S class ranked for 7 years but then came back and fought their way to number one. Of course a lot of stuff happened after with dragonsc, not that I remembered any of that but still.


I was pulled from my thoughts as someone ran up to us, in clear desperate need. I flashed a charming smile to calm her down some "Don't worry about it ma'am, we'll get to the bottom of all this. We'll get your herb and see about the missing mages, sit right and we'll be back in a bit" I say smoothly with a smile. I turn to Sasha and grin "Alright! Let's do this!" I cheer excitedly as I turn to lead the way down the road and to the forest where the herb was located. I would not mess this mission up, it was my first and I wanted to make a leave a good impression on these people about how awesome fairy Tail was.

 

[Caits]

Sasha smiled and followed after Kuro, waving to the doctor as they headed into the forest. She looked about them, maintaining her awareness of everything around them, in order to be prepared for everything. She was more then ready to lash out with her abilities, and already had her hand signs ready to go. Over her training, since she had first developed her magical abilities at the age of 8, she had trained to be fast, quick on the draw and ready to counteract a lot of attacks against her.


So it was a good thing that she was ready as a black glad, head to toe, mage came out of the trees, aiming towards Kuro. Sasha was already moving, nudging Kuro out of the way as she shouted "Ice Make: Floor"As the black clad Mage landed, he or she slipped, and Sasha quickly followed it up with "Ice Make: Cage!" And the cage formed around the black glad mage. "Excellent. We can now question him or her" She said with a smile, "Not much of a mage, or...a ninja, are you?" She looked to Kuro, "Are you okay? Sorry, I just reacted"

I looked around as we walked through the forest, taking everything in thoughtfully. Looking up I see a movement but don't really react to it and a moment later, someone bursts out from the trees. Still I don't react but Sasha is nudging me out of the way. I smiled and moved aside, watching her do her thing. I found it amazing she could react and conquer up all that ice so fast. Once she was done, I walked over to her with a ligh and looked at the person inside the cage.


"In a sense I'm not really a Mage considering I don't use my magic to much unless a certian sisuation requires me to change weapons. As for being a ninja, that I can be" I answer with a smile. My style was certainly different from hers, while she attacked right on, I tended to wait till the last moment to move and swiftly counterattack. "And I'm perfectly fine, I got to see you do your thing which was quite enjoyable. But now, shall we question this person now? Do I get to scare them into talking?" I ask with an amused expression.
