Taking place in an alternate universe 400 years before the main events of the series as we know, the roleplay will be majoring around the events of the gruesome Dragon King Festival. The war between dragons and humans. As the events of the roleplay are taking place so far back in the Fairy Tail universe, none of the current canon characters exist as of present, neither do the settlements nor guilds we have come to know and love. Instead, we get to build our own! In this roleplay, the players will be the sculptors of the universe. You will be able to recruit allies and form your own guilds, to even building your very own small settlements. However, as the continent will be succumbed to the biggest and bloodiest war it will ever see, every day will be a battle for survival, and nothing will be easy. For everything you have built, could crumble in an instant. So gather your allies! Fight in the war! Build cities! Or lose everything in the Dragon King Festival.
It is the year X300 and dragons are the dominant force on Earth Land whom of which dominate the land. The beasts that soar the skies, freely dominating the lands and seas, humanity is seen as little more than food to them. The beasts have conquered anything they have set their eyes on, swarming in the thousands they are a force to be reckoned with. Nobody has ever opposed them, until now. On the Ishgar Continent, dragons had built a large dominion over man. Humanity was constantly mistreated by the large and seemingly superior creatures. Constantly made slaves for the creatures and tasked with building their grand shrines and colossal structures. That was of course until small pockets of human uprising broke out as but the start of a flame, a flame of which grew later and more ferocious over time. As dragons began to see sense in the words of humans, who believed in a world of freedom and peace without such cruelty within it, more and more came to the cause and the uprisings grew more intense as a result and before we knew it, a full blown war had broken loose.
During this disastrous conflict, the human side of the war was being slaughtered by the thousands, with next to no losses on the dragon side at all. Deciding to do something about it, an unknown ruler of one of the human Kingdoms of Ishgar, an incredibly skilful mage, crafted a secret art of magic designed solely to combat the hellish beasts; Dragon Slayer Magic. This magic would give humanity the edge it needed and hopefully - the means of winning the war. Spreading this gift far and wide, the dragons who had decided to stand with humanity began to teach humanity their magics, and thus the Dragon Slayer was born, and with humanities newfound power marked the most heightened stage of the war. It was now in full swing, the bloody conflict between man and beast... who will win?
(Main Plot Arcs will come into play for the majority of the roleplay. However, those who wish not to participate and instead do their own thing are free to do so. Custom Arcs are also acceptable, and can be submitted to the administration team for review at any time.)
