For lack of creativity for a title, I feel it's aptly named. This'll be a fairly sandbox-y RP with character interaction and player creativity being the dominant driving force. I intend on doing a grand magic games, a plot arc, jobs, etc. However, I encourage everyone else to make up jobs, guilds, races, and magic. This will be an extremely open ended fandom and be what a fandom is meant to be, a player made creation of one of their favorite things and not something set in stone by a GM.


That said, I will be making plot arcs, jobs, and all those nice things myself. I have not thought of a set first plot arc quite yet, instead I have thought of several. Do NOT suggest the grand magic games as the first plot arc, it won't be happening.

Rules:


Seeing as this is a very sandbox-y RP, rules will be lax.


1. All I want from you minimum is a decent, well written, six sentence paragraph per post. More is welcome and heavily encouraged, however.


1.5 Keep in mind will more is encouraged, no one wants to read a brick of text describing the color of the arc of electricity your character shot out down to the pigmentation, for example.


2. Character limit of 5 per person for the time being seeing as how we have a TON of freaking people for this.


3. Don't put all of your characters in the same guild. This is a no.


4. Keep guild ratios decently even. However, since it is canon, I will allow an uneven ratio when it comes to being a part of Fairy Tail.


5. Dark guilds are allowed.


5.5. All guilds must be PM'd to me before approval with all details provided.


6. Don't copy canon more than you have to. While, Dragon Slayers and such will be allowed. I'd much rather prefer original magic and races opposed to 10 dragon slayers running around.


7. I know that Fairy Tail is notorious for destroying crap, but try not to go over board. We need towns to RP in, you know.

Arc in Progress:

Spooky Scary Dungeons

All across Fiore mages suddenly dissapear, where to no one is sure. Some think they simply took a bit longer on a mission, others were among friends talking when they passed out only to wake up to their friends missing. Some speculate it's a mass kidnapping for some kind of ritual, others say it's the work of a dark guild trying to brain wash people, a select few say 'why not both?'. Of course, initially these were just rumors. That was, until members of known Light Guilds get snatched up. At this point the rumors are made true, and now it is up to everyone to rescue those they care most about.


Is this the work of Grimorie Heart, or simply an outside entity working on its own?

Next Arc:

Plot Twists! Plot Twists Everywhere!

Both Fairy Tail's Guild Master and the Fairy Tail Stalker are gone to who knows where! Well, actually, they kinda just vanished into a mist around Magnolia in an oddly perfect circle. Either way, that doesn't change the fact that, within this mist, lies something pretty freaky. Pretty freaky indeed...

Rise of Zeref

Fairly straight-forward. Everyone thinks Zeref is dead, but in reality his is not. At first, things seem normal but eventually parts of Earth Realm begin to warp into something dark and twisted. Jobs are posted at guild boards all around Earth Realm to come and investigate things. As time goes on clues pointing towards Zerefs' involvement are found, but no one knows what his true purpose is or if it is even intentional.


Could it be Zeref himself, or a copycat? Are the effects intentional, or simply side effects of something more sinister?

Invasion of the Dragons

Rumors of dragons razing villages to the ground begin popping up, job offers to investigate begin popping up, and eventually it is found that the dragons are back and they want their turf back. They stop at nothing to reclaim it, going so far as to burn entire villages to the ground and slaughter everyone that survives. Eventually it is found that it was, infact, dragons that are the cause of the destruction.


At that point it is up to everyone to band together and slay them all. Or perhaps, a dark guild wishes to control them for their own nefarious deeds?

Fairy Tail Fantasia Festival

The more..relaxed..arc. Fairy Tail has decided to once more host their yearly festival in Magnolia. Come one come all, it is a city wide event full of food, games, dancing, and of course all the booze you can drink. Of course, there will be a mini fight tournament with a prize of a hundred thousand jewels. Just don't destroy the town in the process.

Arc Summaries:

Invasion of the Dragons

Our story begins with rumors of dragons burning down villages, terrorizing, looting, etc. General scary dragon stuff. Crazy, right? Just rumors. Everyone brushed it off as such until a job offer of a billion jewels to the guild who could slay the beasts or find the true cause was posted. Of course, the allure of fame and money was too good to pass up. Each of the three major guild sent teams to Malnia to meet with the client, even a few independant mages decided to tag along. Of course, Fairy Tail being Fairy Tail had to come up with a grand entrance. The now late Master Cece used her earth magic to tunnel the guild hall right into the middle of the street! Of course a random passerby decided it was a good idea to attack the hall as it popped out of the ground, and thus a fight ensued between them and the guild master. The rest of the guild decided to head to the mansion, where Sabertooth and Lamia Scale members were already out and about.


The mansion itself was empty and covered in dust as if it hadn't been cleaned in days. Little did any of them know there was a cloaked figure on the roof watching them all, the figure who later revealed himself as Lucian Grey. That comes later. For now the various mages opted to explore the mansion, eventually coming across Lucians' room and study. A false wall was found, or rather blown up, as was a portal. A portal wherein Tanari an independant mage was seemingly randomly gathered from. Behind the false wall was all kinds of scrolls and books on dragons, which rose suspicions in a few people there. However, it made logical sense for the man to hire them to study the dragons.


A short while later Lucian himself made an appearance in the form of summoning them all to his dining room for dinner. Introductions were made, everyone was given a feast and offered a room to stay for the night. Come the next morning breakfast was had and preparations were made. Ultimately the entire group was either sent or directed to the edges of Malnia. Evidences of a dragon were indeed found thanks to the dragon slayers within the group. A short while later Ivalice an Ice Dragon attacked. A small time later Lucian Grey as well as two other members of Grimorie Heart attacked, the dragons found out to be somehow controlled by the man himself.


All hell broke loose, fighting was everywhere. Ivalice soon and easily fell with the appearance of Gilad Arcturus, the Guild Master of Sabertooth. The fight wasn't over yet. Mlynath a fire dragon soon attacked. She was bigger and stronger by far than Ivalice. With the combined powers of most of the combat capable fighting force they were able to drive Mlynath back. Ultimately in the end it was Sora Marvell of Fairy Tail who struck the final blow with the help of Gilad. However, the entire forest was destroyed save for one lone seed and Master Lloyd of Lamia Scale recieved a broken leg in the process. Luckily Kelica Zefara of Fairy Tail helped him back onto his feet. Lucian Grey was felled by a lucky sleep spell by Momoki Asada and the two other Grimorie Heart members were dealt with or left, one was captured when the Magic Council arrived while Rodwen ran free.


In compensation for their deeds each guild was awarded five hundred million jewels to do with what they wished. Everyone parted ways while some relationships were formed. Fairy Tail however would have a gruesome sight to come back to. In the middle of the Guild Hall was their Masters lifeless and bloody corpse, multiple daggers sticking from it with a note that simply red 'Death to Fairy Tail' penned in blood. Seemingly hers. An investigation was put underway by the Council, Fairy Tail themselves swore vengenance against whoever did it should they cross their paths.


They would make them pay.
