Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Who in the world could that be," Robyn mumbled as she got out of her comfy hammock bed. The light blue feathers on her wings were all ruffled from the pillows and blankets that layered her hammock.

"Hello," Robyn said sleepily when she opened the door.

"Sorry for bothering you, Robyn, but the king wants you in his office asap," Abby, the king's messenger, informs me.

"Do you know what he needs me for?" Robyn asks, surprised that he want to talk to her.

"I have no idea. I'm just the messenger," She replies.

"Okay I'll be there in a few minutes I need to get dressed and groom my wings," Robyn says as she glances down at her pajamas.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

Grayson reaches over and pounds on his alarm. uhhh he moans.

Slowly he opens his eyes and is blinded by the sun shining right on his face. Grayson rolls over and lays there hoping it will get easier to get up if the sun wasn't on his eyes. After a few minutes he feels even lazier than he did when he first woke up. "It's time to get up." trying to motivate himself. His body rose from the bed, his body still covered in wrinkles from his sheets. The morning was young and the perfect weather for some pictures before breakfast. Grayson had a routine wake up, put on clothes, and take pictures of interesting thing on his way to his favorite coffee place 'A latte cafe'. It was small and friendly that made him more comfortable than those big places packed with people.

After Abby leaves Robyn rushes over to her closet and puts on her semi-nice shirt and matching skirt. She would have worn something nicer but knowing the king he would probably immediately send her out to go do something. After she is dressed Robyn heads to her bathroom to brush her short red hair and groom her feathery wings.

A few minutes later...

Knock, Knock, Knock.

Robyn gives three short knocks on the king's cherry wood, office door.

"Enter!" The king demands through the door. Robyn opens the heavy door and rushes inside the office, closing the door behind herself.

"You called for me your Majesty?" She asked as she started to walk toward the front of his desk.

"Yes, Robyn, I did," The king answers. "I need you to go on a short mission for me."

"And what would that be?" Robyn questions

"I need you to go to the human world and find half-fairy for me."

"Really?" She asks, excitement lacing her voice.

"Yes, the half-fairy's name is Grayson and I need you to find him as soon as possible."

"I will do my best, Sir."

Robyn gives him a small salute and starts to turn away when the king says, "Wait. Here is 100 dollars. I expect that you use it wisely in the human world." The king hands Robyn the green paper and she leaves his office.

On the way to the cafe he passed the pet store and inside was a new macaw. This was a chance Grayson could not let slip away, he saw birds but never been somewhere such birds live in the wild. He walked up the the clerk "Sir are you able to handle that beautiful parrot over there???" The middle aged man with wild brown curly hair looks at him with a dumb look and lifts his arm revealing a leather glove. "O-o-oh r-right o-ok." Grayson was now a bit frightened though he was sure what he came in here for he was unsure if he wanted it bad enough to deal with this man. Without a word the man looked around for customers and then walked to the cage. As soon as the door opened the very large bird climb onto the mans arm. Grayson also said nothing the red scarlet macaw was in perfect condition. The pets here normally are sick and they nurse them back to health. This bird just stuck out like a diamond in mud. His camera started clicking he zoomed in and out. A few pictures with flashes and the bird started flapping it's wings. Perfect pictures a few to delete and a few to crop out the creepy clerk but overall very nice. It was way past the time he is normally at 'A latte cafe' there was nothing to worry about though. The place was never packed just a few book readers here and there maybe one table full of gossiping teens.

Robyn leaves immediately after the meeting with the king. She didn't need to pack anything anyways. She could get anything that she needed in the human world. As Robyn left the castle at which she lived she jumped into the air and her wings started to flap like a humming birds. Robyn slowly started to pick up speed as she elevated in the sky. Eventually she picked up enough speed to enter into the solar stream. Robyn entered the dark, star filled, boundless tunnel. She took a sharp right and went through a small opening that lead to the human world. When she got through she took a few steps back. The sun was so bright, at least compared to the solar stream. When Robyn got used to the light she looked around to figure out where in the world she was.

"Oh yeah, almost forgot. Wings I need you to disappear now," Robyn looked over her shoulder and lightly touched her wings. At the spot where she touched them the slowly started to disappear into thin air. She could summon her wings back later but for now the humans couldn't see them.

Today the line was a bit longer than he hoped. Grayson ordered his usual a mochachino made with hot chocolate mix with an extra shot of expresso. Looking around the cafe he decided to enjoy his coffee on the terrace. It was a great day outside for it being early spring in Peru. There were people everywhere going shopping and jogging. The soft breeze tossed Grayson's hair giving him a messy hair look. He sipped on his coffee "Ahhh" he sighed this day was going to be a good one he just knew it.

Robyn jumped down off of the roof at which she emerged out of the Solar Stream. She looked around at all of the people moving around. "Why are all these people in such a hurry?" Robyn mumbled to herself. As she looked around she noticed something or more like someone out of the corner of her eye. She faced toward the person. The person, a young male, was sipping some coffee or something like that as the wind played with his hair.

"Is that him?" She asked herself as she looked at him with a confused look. Her gut was telling her that it was him, but she wasn't fully sure since the king didn't give her any description of this person or something to help find him.

Grayson had finished his coffee and went back inside to get another before he went out to explore. As he waited on his coffee he couldn't help but fantasize about finding a place that could blew you away. He always dreamed of a place that made him at a loss for words. So far everything he has shot was only sub-par compared to what he expected out of himself. Grayson thanked the workers and went on his way 'Where to today???'. Until he figured it out he strolled on the sidewalk trying to avoid people. Then he thought of the perfect place the coast maybe he would find a cove. Grayson turned around and headed the way of the coast.

Robyn watched as the boy started to leave. What do I do now? She asked herself. Should I go talk to him now or wait until he goes somewhere else? She walked up behind him and quickly tapped him on his shoulder.

"Um, Excuse me. Your name is Grayson right?" Robyn asked nervously. She had no idea what to say to a human. They are so much different from her.

Grayson stopped in his tracks, he turned around to see who tapped him on the shoulder. It saw a red headed girl wearing an unusual outfit "Well yes my name is Grayson. Who is asking???". He was confused since he had never seen her and didn't have many friends. The streets were getting busier this was no place to stop and talk. "Well follow me we have to finish this conversation somewhere less crowded." Grayson headed to the park across the street although there were a lot of people here it was a big enough space to not notice.

"Uh, okay," Robyn followed him until they arrived in the park. The park was quite busy but it seemed like every place here was busy and full of rushing people. She faced him and got right to the point. She didn't want to waste anytime in this stupid world so she said, "Your part fairy." She looked him in the eyes waiting for Grayson's answer.

He laughed at her notion "I'm sorry you say I'm a what???". A fairy this girl was mad no such thing existed. Though it was quite exciting to think such. Grayson looked at the girl " I'm sorry, I can't play pretend with you. I have photos to take." He said the last part like she was foolish to believe in such fairy tales. Those would be some great pictures and world breaking. There was no way this was real, he gave her an amused smile cause it did make his day.

"Why would you think i'm joking? I would never joke of such a thing," Robyn said will all seriousness. Why would I joke of such a thing? He must be crazy and how could he not know that he is part fairy? Wouldn't his parents tell him. She gave him a confused look. "How come you don't have your wings yet anyways?" Robyn asked, thinking about the age when fairies get their wings. Fairies tend to get there wings around the age of 15 and this guy was about 20. Is it because he is part fairy so his wings might come in later? Maybe it's because he doesn't know yet?
