Filled with DETERMINATION
The High King is dead, and so his young heir has ascended to the throne, but his rule is shaky and uncertain as the many lords of the land look to this young new ruler with eagerness, hoping to wear the crown themselves. The land is tense, waiting for even the smallest provocation, the tiniest excuse to fling themselves into a war of succession. That excuse came in the form of the son of a minor noble and one of the cousins to the new High King, Lukas Ravenwood.
Young Lukas forced himself upon a serving maid after a night of drinking, and the nobility used this as an excuse to launch a war, claiming that the new ruler had allowed such a disgraceful incident to occur under their roof. But the nobility was split on who should rule instead of the old King's heir, and soon what had started as a war of succession devolved into a civil war that split the land into feuding city-states.
Young Lukas was forced into the military service as punishment for his crimes and being the spark that lit the wars, sent out to fight to protect the new ruler's throne and crown. A year later, when the New Ruler's castle is under siege, one of the armies is called back to reinforce, and with it comes a strange archer. A ranger of incredible skill, but more shockingly; possessing the power of magic that they use to terrible effect.
They are also a girl.
The rangers have named this girl 'Swift Greenleaf' as it sounds a lot more feminine than 'Lukas Ravenwood'. What happened to Lukas? How did he turn into a girl and gain the power of magic? And why did nobody tell the heir? Political storms are stirring, backstabbing, intrigue and a nation shattered into feuding states. And now magic. What shall happen next?

So I would be playing Lukas/Swift, and yes I purposefully made Lukas guilty of a terrible crime on purpose to make everything more muddled morally. I was initially going to have the transformation be as part of the punishment but the logistics of it in a low-magic world were too difficult and so I had to alter things. Still, drama potential. My potential partner would be playing The Heir and we would both control any other characters we make up along the way. The Heir can be male or female (Hence why I refer to them with gender-neutral pronouns), and this RP will be LGBTQ friendly (even if the characters aren't always)
There is a lot open to alteration, this is merely the initial idea and is by no means set in stone, I do intend for some Berserk-style nonsense to start inflicting itself on the plot but again - open to discussion.
