My Interest Check
The team or rp won't be called that but anyway. All I need to accept a cs is below. If I ask for a change its probably to do with lore or balance so please don't take offence. Delete the shit in brackets as its just a minimum of info. If you have questions please ask on the check or in a PM
===================================
Name: (fairies are given a name from the royalty closest to them, a fae who becomes a fairy without a king or queen usually names themselves after some time or accepts a name from any that gives them one)

Age : (most mortal races are much like humans, they usually don't live past 80. Fae kind is different, a fae could be a fae for ten or twenty maybe even more years before becoming a fairy. Fairies appear as children or teenagers despite age, only fae royalty appear as humanoid adults and live "forever" Fae and fairies eventually disperse into nature after 50 years or so, not to say a fae or fairy can't last past that age but it is rare)

Race: (mortal races range from human, elf, dwarf, hobbit and beastkin which are humanoid animals.)

Appearance: (picture and description)

Gear: (for mortals this is what they have on them when travelling or on a quest of some kind. For fairies they usually make a outfit out of magic, but can keep or use any physical item apart from a weapon. So while they can hold a fork and knife to eat the second one tries to stab something living they'd drop it. The only kinds of fae able to wield a weapon is royalty and sprites)

Magic: (for fairies and mortals they usually only have one type of mana. This could be one of the elements like fire, water, earth or air. But mana types can be anything from shadows, ice, poison, illusions, electricity, smoke, gravity, even controlling flora or fauna... if what you put down is off ill suggest a edit or change.)

Skills: (What this character is good at)

Flaws: (Whats bad about this character, the main one being the curse that slowly eats away at emotions, reason and the mind in general. Not to say everyone in the cast is a lunatic psychotic, it's more like being heavily intoxicated at random and losing control over actions. A cursed person is more likely to snap emotionally or act without reason or empathy. I guess a way of putting it is...

While a normal person might be walking through a crowded street and hear a annoying person singing loudly to themselves and imagine punching that person in the face, they won't because of repercussions and the fact they are walking on and proceeding with their day.
A cursed person would act on said imagination even if they truly didn't want to, as if control is pushed aside their body acts on that random instinct which usually results in crazy or cruel situations. A cursed person is much more likely to commit criminal acts and violence due to losing control. If that makes sense? not to mention cursed mortals lose emotions, memory and eventually sentience)

History:
(About this character, abit about this character and how they came to be cursed. for mortals this is probably how they accepted a fairy confession or saw it happen, either way they saw a fairy die via confession. For a fairy to be cursed they need to discover that a fairy's death can come from confessing.)

I'll finish this within a week most likely

Name: Lalo (though its really Lalilo Flambei)
Age: 20
Race: human
Appearance:

Gear:

Magic: originally fire, though accepting a fairy confession has given Lalo the mana of a shadow fairy. While Lalo's magic is generally just fire thats black, he is also able to use shadow magic.
As far as spells and techniques go Lalo is far above average in both fire and shadow magic, though his efforts and reserves of mana has more to do with this than inherent talent or skill. (More to say he isn't amazing but has great MP and a psychotic need to practice)

Skills:
Fairy mana, thanks to accepting a fairy confession Lalo has a inhuman amount of mana in his body and the ability to use blended magic.

Flaws:
cursed, due to killing a fairy Lalo has a number of things wrong with him. The main problem is momentary loss of control in his actions. Apart from that he has never had a nice sleep since that day and is prone to emotional outbursts.

tired,
Lalo only sleeps "peacefully" when drunk or having recently consumed a potion that temporarily alleviates a curse.

History:
Lalo comes from warrior blood, his mother died shortly after childbirth and much of his family died in war. The flambei clan lives on though Lalilo, who has no knowledge of his heritage. After shit happened and with no family to speak of, Lalo was sent to live in a orphanage close to a farmlard teetering on the border between Lordshiv and Granger. Arriving at age 4 and put to work at age 5 Lalo would sneak out into the wilds to play and at times to avoid certain chores.
It was around the age of six that Lalo met a shadow fairy. As far as Lalo could tell Yamioh was a young girl with wings who demanded h kept her existence a secret. Though Yamioh was wise and old in comparison to a human child she found herself enjoying the times they spent together. The games they played incorporating lessons in mana to which helped hone lalo's magic. Lalo and Yamioh spent five years meeting in secret before Yamioh made a confession. As a child in love Lalo was quick to say yes, but everything after is a nightmare that still haunts his mind.

Yamioh's body fell lifeless and evaporated into nothing as a incredible surge of mana accumulated into lalos mortal body. In his confusion and sorrow Lalo burnt down Jerwood Forrest and three farms with black flames. The orphanage soon discovered Lalo's unique situation, a vast pool of mana and the ability to use two types of magic? Surely a gifted child from God who should be put to service in the holy kings army...
Lalo was put through recruitment hell for four years before he managed to escape. It was by luck Lalo met a fairy queen sympathetic to his tale. The fairy queen of telepathy Osuuna Kelli looked to raise Lalo as a tool for her own purposes, someone who would champion her goals after her time passed. After six years of grooming Lalo isn't a knight one could brag about, but as far resolve goes he has earned Queen Kelli's trust. Going by the standards of most cursed mortals, Lalo has tremendous self control and holds a firm grip of his sentience. Having access to the tears of fae royalty certainly helps but even so Lalilo Flambei has stubborn will in his mind and heart to not become insane as a child, to push through nine years of being cursed is truly remarkable.

Sylvia Sweetwater | 24 | Fairy

Sylvia wears a simple white dress and brown ankle boots. Her long hair falls to her hips, and her wings are fairly small for a fairy. She appears to be about 13 years old by human standards, and is physically frail.

Gear: A wine bottle and a small bag of vials, which are sometimes empty, and other times full of various substances.

Skills: Baking, winemaking, potions and medicine

Flaws: Sylvia struggles to express emotions because of her curse. She still feels them, however. In fact, she feels them in overdrive: she only struggles with their expression, she’ll still act on them. So if she’s angry, she might slap someone with a completely blank look on her face. Additionally, she’s extremely loose with alcohol, and will give it to absolutely anyone that asks.

Magic
Poison — Despite having such dangerous potential, Sylvia’s primary use of this is to create a weak mental poison known as "wine." Her combat/self-defense techniques involve emitting subtle miasmas meant to induce drowsiness or suggestibility. While she’s capable of much darker things, she’s never used it that way, and doesn’t intend to.

Flight — Natural fairy ability. She’s not a fast flier, though, and can be out-sped even by a fast runner.

Sylvia is one of the rare cases of a fairy being born out of curated nature; more specifically, a prosperous vineyard. As she was born and grew up surrounded by humans, she ended up identifying more with them than her own kind, despite their obvious differences. Sylvia envied the adult women who could grow to their full height, desired to be part of a family (even giving herself a made-up last name), and finally, came to fall in love with one of the workers of the vineyard.

Victor was a a soft and kind man, with a perpetual cough. Sylvia quickly grew to love the careful way he tended to the vineyard she considered her home, and Victor loved hearing what it was like to be a fairy. Despite Sylvia’s protests, he’d continually push himself to the breaking point, insisting that he needed the money, magnifying his illness by refusing to rest.

Victor never showed any romantic interest, but with Sylvia it was the opposite: she’d convinced herself that, somehow, confessing her love to him would be the key to becoming more human. Perhaps, offering herself would help him live, and grant her more of the humanity she sought. But before she worked up the courage to ask, he‘d gone missing.

Sylvia asked around and was pointed to the village doctor, bursting through the door and rushing up to Victor only to learn that he’d already died. As she was grieving, the doctor, in a misguided attempt to cheer her up, explained that it could’ve been worse if she’d confessed, thinking fairies themselves were immune to the curse of knowing such the truth. They both swiftly learned that wasn’t the case, as Sylvia felt the emotion drain from her face.

Since then, she‘s mostly kept herself busy by learning to brew potions, hoping to help others avoid the same fate as her lost love. Sylvia is still mostly-functional, though her curse can make her difficult to interact with at times.

O’neira
Greek for "dreams"
Age : 25
Race: Fairy
Appearance: O’neira is a figure with an otherworldly appearance, almost like a being from another realm. Her hair seems to shimmer with an ethereal glow, shifting in color from deep blues to purples and pinks. Like moonlight, her skin is smooth and pale, with a faint shimmer that hints at hidden powers. O’neira's eyes are large and expressive, seeming to hold secrets and dreams within them. She wears a flowing gown or robe made of silks and gossamer, which seems to move and shift on its own as if it were alive. This garb is worn over a skin-tight halter top and shorts with fingerless gloves reaching up to her elbow and leggings reaching up to her knees; each piece is trimmed and lined with pure gold. Despite her otherworldly appearance, there is an air of serenity and calmness about O’neira that can put others at ease.

Gear: Sleeping powder

Magic: THE DREAMING
THE DREAMING is a positive power that allows the user to create pleasant and immersive dreamscapes, inducing calming and restful dreams. Dream manipulation enables the user to alter the content of existing dreams, including entering the dreams of others to explore their subconscious and influence their thoughts and emotions. On the negative side, a user with nightmare generation could generate frightening nightmares that cause psychological harm to themselves or others. Nightmare manipulation enables the user to manipulate and increase the intensity and duration of nightmares, entering the nightmares of others to torment them with their worst fears, potentially causing immense psychological damage. This power has the potential to be dangerous if abused. This power only works when somebody is asleep, thus O’neira carries a pouch of sleeping powder!

  • Painting & drawing: O’neira has a natural talent for creating beautiful and vivid images
  • Creative writing: O’neira has a talent for storytelling and writing
  • Music: She has a natural talent for creating their own melodies and songs with the flute!
  • Gardening: She enjoys being surrounded by nature and the beauty of plants, and cultivates her own garden.
  • Cooking & bbaking: O’neira enjoys experimenting with different flavors and creating delicious meals or desserts for themselves and others.
  • Creative problem-solving: She has a knack for exploring new ways of thinking and approaching challenges.
  • Acting & theater: Dream has a natural talent for performance and storytelling and likes exploring different characters and roles on stage.
  • Counseling: O’neira finds fulfillment in helping others navigate their own inner landscapes.

Flaws: O’neira's cursed state of experiencing and casting nightmares upon others and being unable to control their emotions has caused her great distress, especially since she is typically a kind and gentle person. Their newfound violent tendencies have left her feeling out of control and uncertain about her own actions, which only adds to her anxiety. Despite this, O’neira seeks ways to break the curse and regain her peaceful nature. She turns to their inner strength and seeks help from trusted allies to try and overcome this curse and reclaim her true self.

Dream was not born in the traditional sense, as they are a being of pure energy and consciousness that has always existed. Dream was one of the first supernatural beings to come into existence, emerging from the universe's chaos as a force of order and creation. As Dream grew in power and consciousness, they became interested in the world around them. They watched as civilizations rose and fell, wars were waged and kingdoms crumbled. Dream saw the beauty and the tragedy in it all, and felt a deep sense of responsibility to help guide the course of history.

Over the centuries, Dream has taken many forms and played many roles. Sometimes they have appeared as a wise mentor, sharing their knowledge and guidance with the mortals who seek their help. Other times, they have taken on a more active role, using their powers to protect the innocent and punish the wicked. Despite their immense power, Dream has always felt deep compassion and empathy towards the mortal beings they encounter. They understand the fragility and fleeting nature of human life, and feel a deep sense of responsibility to help those in need.

Dream, the immortal being of dreams and fantasies, had always watched mortals from afar, curious about their emotions and experiences. They had seen love and heartbreak, joy and sorrow, but had never truly experienced any of it for themselves. Tired of living in the shadows and yearning for a taste of mortal life, Dream made a bold decision: they would be reborn into the body of a fairy.

As a newborn fairy, O’neira experienced the joys of childhood and the thrill of discovering the world around her. She made friends, fell in love. More importantly, she experienced heartbreak for the first time by watching another fairy they loved die after a human confessed their love for her. Little did she know that she had been cursed from witnessing the event. Over time, she realized their curse of uncontrollable emotions had followed her into their new life. O’neira struggled with anger, sadness, and fear, which had never plagued her before. She found it difficult to control her feelings and often lashed out at those around her. Her relationships suffered and they experienced heartbreak that cut deep.

Through it all, O’neira tried to hold onto the kindness and compassion that had defined her in their previous life. She sought help from healers and sought guidance from wise elders, but the curse of their emotions never truly left them. It seemed O’neira had to learn to live with the curse, embracing the highs and lows of mortal life and finding solace in the moments of peace and happiness.
