For what felt like months, a dream would play within the Elf’s head at night as he rested. Underneath a starry sky he wouldn’t notice a village reduced to rubble. What once seemed to be a settlement floating atop a river had been decimated. A waterfall that seemed to cascade into the river was now reduced to an assortment of crumbled earth that painted a stony veranda. What remained told a story of sentient destruction.

Large constructs patrolled the area with large lights adorned atop their heads as they searched the area for those who dared to trespass. As he looked over the ruined area, a heavy cord would be struck within his chest followed by a throbbing headache. The elf would kneel over in pain as he felt overcome with emotions, the sensation felt akin to nails being hammered into his brain before fading to black.

Vaizen would pick his head up quickly as he held onto his chest ,his heart feeling as though it was ready to take flight. Glowing mushrooms and the sound of water trickling into the Cavern met his senses as he looked upon the clutch of eggs surrounding the Elf. Realizing it was a dream, Vaizen would rise up to his feet from the wall he had been sleeping against and do his rounds to check if any of the eggs would be hatching soon.

After which he would stand upon his feet and walk along a perimeter outside the cavern. Smaller animals and Fae alike would greet him as he marched through the lush forest of the See that bordered Ryke and the Republic.

With his routine complete, the Fae would stop by a nearby river for an early breakfast, some berries which had been foraged a few days prior were ripe and great for eating. Vaizen would settle on a nice apple. He’d dip his feet into the water and with an audible crunch, the Elf would audibly sigh as he enjoyed the sun's rays on his scales.

  • After Floundering around by joining a random job, Levren decided it was best not to rush into things anymore. Which leads him to the present: After returning to the mainland after Dinosaur Island, Levren decided to depart from the other group, feeling like he wasn't a good fit for it. Striking out on his own again was fine as he had the survival skills to live off the land as he traveled.

Between using the portals in cities, taking man-made roads, and following animal paths, Levren had found his way back to the Fae-See. Knowing how to live off the land did come in handy all things considered as it meant Levren rarely had to stop into a settlement and could get rather lost without worrying. Though on this day, Levren had chosen a river to follow, feeling like it would eventually lead him to a settlement if he followed it for long enough. After all, towns needed water, right? He hoped the reasoning would work. Honestly, the sun elf needed to just learn some maps and the lay of the land if he kept wandering around alone like this, or else he might just end up a forest hermit at some point.

As Levren walked with his thoughts, he eventually heard a crunch and a sigh. Pulling himself out of his thoughts, his heightened sense of sight would allow him to make out the details of a horned elf across the river and down a little ways. Hoping for the best, Levren would call out to them, waving as he did so.

"Hiya ova ther'! Howya doin!?" He called out in the common tongue with a dorky smile on his face as he kept following the river from the other side, getting closer to Vaizen as he did.
