I sort of feel like this could be Ward when he was growing up...


 



I found this short as well and it reminded me of the imaginative spirit that helped create FableWood.

~ The Saga of Fable Wood ~


Chapter I:


Clash of Worlds

Hope. A precious resource of a soul which is easily expended and most of the time it is the only thing one can cling to. It started dying as the darkness started to consume Fable Wood: as shadow marches on unhindered, unchecked everything seemed to be lost. That was until the humans came.

Humans being the authors and creators of this world have power beyond their imagination in the sacred realm of Fable Wood. Revered as gods and saviors the selected few who entered this mysterious realm are indeed paragons of their kind: they will bring peace and harmony to the land in turmoil - they will stand the tide of death and vanquish the ultimate evil.

Even their arrival was not left unnoticed: legions of spiders tried to vanquish our heroes, only to meet a gruesome fate by them and the mythical allies of the human adventurers. Not even the legendary giant could stand against our mighty heroes: with the first trials behind their backs they headed to the place which server as a seat of power, a nexus where all power converges in Fable Wood: Branbern.​

 

Chapter II:


Twisted Alliances

Meeting the Princess in the magnificent Branbern was but the beginning of the adventures of our fabled heroes for they must seek out the prince himself who was gone missing in the nefarious Forest of Reflection. Steeling their hearts was the first thing they needed to learn if they were to survive the horrors of the once lush forest.


Meeting with new allies allowed our legendary heroes to overcome every challenge - even if they got bested by the dark magic of the unearthly forest. Together they fought as one to free themselves from corruption and after facing a ferocious, shadow twisted carnivore they triumphed: not only did they cleanse the forest partially but also freed the prince from his prison.


Returning to the capital was a relief for our weary heroes: a ball in their honor and they could take their well deserved rest after this quest - although not for long, for the icy wastes of the north awaited them.

Chapter III:


Trials of the Frozen North

After the darkness of the Forest of Reflection the heroes ventured into the icy domain of the north, into Snow Haven, where they heard the the sacred chalice became corrupted with vile magic and was taking control over beasts, making them slaves to the one who corrupted the artifact. Even the arrival was not free of danger: our heroes got attacked by savage wolves and they could barely make a narrow escape from the mind twisted beasts.


Taking their rest in Snow Haven the forces of darkness were already on the move: conjuring a dark storm and corrupting the mind of one of our heroes the wizard behind all the corruption have earned the ire of the adventurers who then soon besieged his fort, defeating him - although not permanently. After all who were corrupted by the darkness were freed from their madness the final confrontation turned into a sad family reconciliation: Bigby the Werewolf was slain by his own daughter, releasing the old one from his duties, purifying the chalice once again.


As they returned triumphantly onto Snow Haven few of them headed for their last quest in the frozen land: to retrieve a powerful and beautiful flower. After they were tested and found worthy they claimed their treasure and celebrated at the town. But little did they know that their joy was short lived...

Nyr is upside down because of reasons. I kinda messed up. Also Ward's arm is noodle, I'm sorry!


Anya would have her bomber/pilot jacket on, but I sadly can't draw that very well, but rest assured she wears it everywhere- even over her dress!


Quincy would have had more detail... but... I have no clue what her outfit looks like...


Sorry all you animal like characters aren't include it. I can't draw that very well... Grump- err.. I mean Luness was about the best I could do.

Ok so i am in no way the artist that the rest of you guys are, but i wanted to add something a little personal to the notes to show my appreciation of this group. Sooooooo like @DawnAntalios i made a little photoshop (or in my case GIMP cause im cheep -.-) magic happen. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Most of them are pretty obvious, but a few required a little more imagination. Elena's is the heart. Rose is the first dragon, and Alexander is the second. Unfortunatly i did not draw any of it, mearly made them look like Sigils for each person. Hope everyone like it
