A group of kids all have some special pupil and/or eye color, which can inhabit a special ability or even more. While these people don't know about their own powers, something else is forming. Monsters from the ghost world, needing to be defeated and only able to be defeated by the group. How so, and where did this start? The group all find themselves bumping into one another amidst an alleyway of Tokoyo, Japan. When these teens join together on this night, they argue but somehow form a pack-all the teens creating a symbol for their little cult. The symbol resembles one of a skull-to identify the dead.
When this settles, their bodies become connected through the little symbol tattoos marked upon their body. At first, the teens drew on each other with marker, but the next day they realize it can't come off. Wouldn't. They meet up again at the same alleyway-not from numbers (because they didn't catch everyone's numbers) but through a tingling feelings emanating through the tattoo on them. Once met up in the same area, their eyes glow and all notices. This is when supernatural things happen to these teens.
Their eyes glowed only this time because of their 'first meeting.' = For any clarification.
Now what are the monsters from the ghost world, and why are these teens so special? As expected, everyone got linked only through the simple 'drawing' which formed into a tattoo. How did that happen - well, because their eyes were naturally made and born for this. Their fate was sealed to be some kind of savior for Japan and the ghost world ever since they became alive.
The ghost world isn't a completely different area, just when time freezes and all humans are erased and the kids are able to travel amongst the ghostly lanes. The can swap in and out of the worlds, and able to leave one another behind, so long they want to. The monsters are created by a extremely powerful boss that is a ghost. Ghosts are different from spirits-the ghosts are the 'monsters', whereas the spirits need to be collected so they can be set free. A side task is for the teens to collect all the spirits and set them free by collecting them from a katasuke. A katasuke can be bought from shops.
Now, there are no humans in the ghost world and spirits are only seen through the ghost world, so how do the teens 'buy' stuff from the stores lying around? Yokais, often associated with cats, are loitered as merchants in the ghost town of Tokyo so the teens can buy such convenient items. To set the spirits free, one must collect a spirit through the katasuke and then use a telephone cell to 'call' the spirt landlord to take away the spirit. A maximum to carry spirts within a katasuke is 18 spirts, and after those 18, you need to sell them out and buy another katasuke.

Other than abilities through the eyes, the teens can achieve powers through getting relics. If one wears a relic, it is transferred so all of the group wears the relic. Relics can help enhance a type of power, not always effective for a certain member. The maximum relic count to be WEARING currently is 3. There is also a 'button' designed in a sci-fi way so that it shows a inventory for the whole group, and skill enhancements.
Skill enhancements are only to be gained if someone in the group earns skill points. Each enhancements varies through 10's-30 skill points required depending on how good it is. Skill enhancements are similar to relics, but instead of upgrading physical traits like better archery aim, one can upgrade the power level of a teammate's eye-ability level. The group members can also gain skill points by leveling up-leveling up means when the group finished a quest, or goal, or sold a certain amount of spirits.

'Quests' are attached to the side of everyone's vison within the ghost world, where the 'service' behind everything and is helping the teams defeat the main boss is giving out a certain task to do to help the teens get stronger, get all the spirits, and defeat all the ghost monsters.
There are also certain types of looks through monsters. Occasionally, I'll just show a mini picture through my posts IC to how they look like
~ This'll be put as Multiple Settings since this is partly fandom, sci-fi/futuristic, and what not is listed.
~ If my spelling/grammar is bad, apologies. Feel free to ask questions...I might update more if I forgot anything.
UPDATE:
Eye-abilities are often named through the color of the eye, or the ability. The teens will devise a plan of using code names through the color of one's eye as well, so keep that in mind.
My Chars' Eye Color + Code Name
1. Amaryllis = Red/Scarlet
2. Jade = Emerald Green
3. Wisteria = Purplish-Blue
NOTE: Go crazy with how your OC'S eyes look like!
