Fantasy Explore the Realm

Jasper smiled and placed his revolver on the table. "Would you be more comfortable waiting for him?" He rested his head against the back of the chair and gazed out through the open door to the courtyard. "Yeah, let's wait a while. I think that may be smart."

(Oh gosh I'm sorry Sir! And Turtle, Let's wait for Ninja.)

The Hitman looked at Henry. "Ok here's the deal. I'll kill the person if one of your guards brings me the file." The Hitman said, "I'll do it for my usual price, but, the Mayor must also halt all searches for me."

Mauro bursted throught the hall door. "I am deeply sorry one of your maidens caught my eye and I just had to say hello." He took a seat at the table next to Neto. "He hasn't been causing you any trouble has he." He looked at the mayor. He looked more built than he expected. He expected a small chubby man with a giant hat. "So what did I miss." He looked at them both holding there guns out. "Well I hope I didn't miss too much, My name is Mauro Compson." He stood and saluted the mayor and sat back down. Mauro looked at the food. "Wonderful."He grabbed his plate and filled it with cooked Quill, bread and some lovely fruit. "Do you happen to have any ale my bottle is empty." He shook his bottle in his hand taking a sip of the last drop in it.

Neto glared at Mauro as he explained the 'reason' why he was late. Any trouble? Sheesh, he's underestimating me. He sighed. Food? There was food here? Neto hadn't seen it before. Neto nervously grabbed some fruit, and sat back down, observing it.

(Neto was holding the gun down, like he's slouching and his hands are slumping down. Unless you sat on the right of him, I don't think you'd see it.)

Henry swallowed and awkwardly frowned. "He wants to see you in person. He says it is a very different mission." There was an awkward laugh and he shook his head. "When Mr. Appleby says it is different, then it means that it is more than just bizarre." He laughed strangely, "So as a fellow assassin, I recommend you go and see him in person."

--

Jasper laughed, and took his gun off the table and placed it back into its hiding spot on him. "Oh, they all catch my eye, Mauro, that's why I have them." He laughed again, shaking his head as he stood and walked back over to the bar. "You probably want one of my more fruity or nutty blends to go with that amazing glazed quail, eh?" He took a bottle from under the bar, and placed it on the wooden surface. He quickly poured himself another drink of bourbon and downed it before going and handing the bottle of beer to Mauro.

He paused, glancing at the worn glass Mauro held. "Yeah, I know that a bottle rather than a barrel for a fine beer may seem unconventional, but the makers imbue the glass with enchantments to enhance the flavor and the buzz." The mayor snickered, then stretched out his arm, offering the corked brown bottle to the half-elf.

@Ink Bottle Faerie

A small frail young man approached the elf, his blond hair frizzed and sticking to his face with sweat. "Um, Miss?" He stuttered nervously, "Are you Faervel, the hunter?" The frightened youth was obviously elf upon inspection, despite his undignified twisting of the hem of his shirt. "My master wants to see the woman who catches all the fine game for him."

@SirDerpingtonIV

The crowd paused for a moment, and then screamed out applause. The announcer, on the balcony above Kukulkan roared out happily the two winners names before then shushing the howling audience. The man, in a deep baritone voice announced loudly so the whole stadium (if you could call it that,) could hear "And now our two finalists will fight! Who will win? The talented Lizard man? Or the robust young human?"

(Sir: Ignore that if you had other plans or don't want to use it.)

Viknus, after being asleep for longer than he can remember, steps out of his earthen hut. He grabs a bag of trinkets he made some time ago and sets off to walk into town. With his forgetful mind, and the fact that he may have just slept for a week and didn't notice, he forgot how the town even looked. In fact, he doesn't even remember ever going to the town, he does not even remember the name! Regardless, he finds his way to a road and sets off in the direction he believes the town to be.

(His forgetfulness is moreorless an embodying of my total ignorance to what all is happening :3)

The Hitman stood up. "Understood, but only if you come with me," The Hitman left, still holding Henry hostage. The Hitman then headed to the Mayor's mansion. He still had the pistol jammed up against Henry's throat as he entered the mansion.

Mauro grabbed the bottle from the mayor and uncorked it. He took a big gulp "Ahh you were right this is great." He took another sip "So are we here just for a nice meal and a drink, or are we here on other matters." He looked over at Neto while he was observing his fruit. "Hey Neto I've tasted the food its not poisined. Relax." He bit off a peice of qauill and drank some more beer.

It was now just past night fall, the moon rising from out of the sea like a ghost stepping out of its grave. The small city of Motton below looked like a shining light from Viknus' point up in the mountains above the port town. The lights were bright and sparkled and danced through the windows, and the giant ships in the port laid lazily. The light breeze around him was comforting.

--

Henry refused to leave the doorway of the room. "Do you really want to cause an uproar again? The mayor would like to do this civilly, Sir." He gulped, eyes panning the room nervously. "Let me act like I am taking you to the Jail, which is in New Town. We will take the road that passes in front of the mayor's house, and I will let you go in there."

--

Jasper smiled and sat down into his chair, leaning lazily against the back. "Well, I was planning on taking our time and getting to know one another before we discuss business." He smirked and placed his hands behind his head, and crossed his legs. "I don't often invite visitors. I get them a lot, but most people just waltz right in."

"No," The Hitman didn't trust Henry. The Hitman took the gun off of Henry's neck and placed it in a chink in his armor. This was a spot that would still kill him if he shot, it was just more hidden. 'Take me to the Mayor now! The civilians won't see the gun." The Hitman pressed the gun harder into his Henry's back. "Move it."

Henry clicked his tongue and began walking out of the tavern. A few of the gaurds who intially knew the plan followed behind, circling the Hitman. "Don't worry, just keeping appearances up." Henry spoke, once again calm with his companions around him.

"Get the to go away!" The Hitman demanded. He cocked the pistol, it made a clicking sound so all the guards could hear. "I'll shoot him," The Hitman moved his finger to the trigger and pressed harder. "Vanish in three seconds. One.... Two..... Three."

The guards moved away and Henry sighed. "You really are an angry person, aren't you?" Henry sighed and with a purposeful march he headed up the winding road to go and see the mayor of Motton

"No, I just don't quite feel like being killed or arrested yet." The Hitman pressed harder into Henry's back. "And you do tend to get angry when your job is to do the dirty work for people." He explained. When they arrived at the Mayor's mansion The Hitman said, "right, show me where he is."

He blinked slowly. "Did you miss the part where I said I was an assassin to, or do you just completely do not trust me?" He turned his head and stood at the gate with the lieutenant. "He is in his house, through the courtyard, sir." Henry spat.

"Course I don't trust you, you're an assassin, hell I don't trust myself sometimes." The Hitman winked and kicked Henry in the knee. "Don't try run and call your friends." He said and walked off through the courtyard and knocked on the door of the Mayor's house.

Henry collapsed, and the lieutenant next to him dropped to the ground as well to try and help him up. The young guard swore, and grabbed his knee. The lieutenant spoke, "You father should really use you for the mission, not some stranger." Henry looked up at the lieutenant with a glare.

Jasper, the mayor, looked up from his conversation with Mauro and stood. He peaked his head down the hallway, and to the open door. "Come in. Generally when the door is open, it means come in." He looked at the Hitman with a confused eye.

The Hitman walked in and took a seat separate from Mauro and Neto. "Henry told me you that you wanted to do business." The Hitman smiled, "he also told me that this was a strange contract, please, explain." The Hitman grabbed Mauro's glass full of some liquid and downed it, returning the glass to Mauro again.

Mauro was preparing himself to speak when he was rudely interputed by someone entering the mansion. "Who is this now." He watched as the man came and sat apart from the group. Mauro took a closer look at the man. "Hey your the guy who murdered the dude at the bar..." He was going to say more when the man snatched his drink and gobbled it down. "What the hell is your problem. Don't you have any kind of manners. Mayor why is this man here and not locked up somewhere." He put his hand on his sword hilt"I would gladly escort him out." He glared at the man. He hated his kind the duty ruthless men who commet there whole life to killing and burglary.

Neto wasn't very calm. He felt weird around the mayor. A man walked inside. Huh. Mysterious. Ooh. Neto was feeling a bit homesick, but he couldn't even remember where he used to live. Or, whatever realm he used to live in, to be more specific. He sighed. Mauro pointed out the Hitman being the murderer. How the hell had he known that? Well, whatever. He took a small bite out of the fruit, still feeling cautious.

Jasper blinked. "God you are just an awful human being aren't you? At least have some dignity, you senseless pig." He spat onto the floor, and went back over to the bar once again. Instead of being polite and pouring the bourbon out of the decanter into a glass, he simply swilled it from the bottle. Swill isn't the word, but gulp rapaciously. He ended up emptying the bottle. He then grabbed two more beers. He handed one to Mauro and the other to the Hitman.

He sighed and pushed his chair under the table. "Well you are all here for the same general reason I suppose. So let's start out with a bang, shall we?" The mayor smirked, and sat on the table, his legs swinging beneath him while he smiled devilishly. "Hitman. The contract you would be preforming would end up getting you 100,000 gold. But you must do one thing first."

The Hitman laughed as he called him an awful human being. "Mayor I kill people for a living, of course I'm an awful human being." He then suddenly got serious and listened in. "I'm listening Mayor, what do I need to do." The Hitman straightened his suit jacket and put on his gloves.
