Yes, this is dog
I like statting characters. I've done a lot of it, and when you get to know the ins and out of a system, it's sometimes a fun little creative activity to do. Not only that, but it helps you learn to work with a system, as well as flex that creative muscle with regards to character based creation (as opposed to stat based characters).
Not only that, but I also enjoy statting characters from other settings. It's fun to see if you can find a work around in a particular system to correctly portray a character mechanically, taking into account their abilities, quirks, items, and heritage. Their fluff generally already tends to exist, so it's just a case of translating that soft fluffiness into hard crunch.
For this thread, I'm going to be working in the Crucible system, and the Darkening Skies setting. If you're interested in it, check out further stuff with the links provided, or pester our resident @Grey, the creator of both (as well as many others).
Not only that, but I'm mostly going to be working with League of Legends characters, and going to try and subsume them into the setting in as a fluffy crunchy swirly manner as possible. That said, people are free to join in if they'd like, as I'm just here to have fun.
I'll be editing this with new arrivals, but for the moment, enjoy a Sion and Twitch, though more will be soon.

Sion
A necromantic construct from long ago, before the Year of Dominion, Sion is a relic of a far more barbarous time.
Once a proud mortal general, after his untimely death on the field of battle, his superiors reforged him, utilising Necromantic and Guardian techniques, hoping to reinstall their former commander once again a leader of men. Unfortunately, the processes that created him did little to repair his mind, instead turning the man into a near feral killing machine. Unable to destroy him, they instead locked him away, sealed within a monument to his own glory. Eventually, he was forgotten.
Centuries passed, and an enterprising Djuke found clues as to the juggernauts existence. Utilising the aid of skilled necromancer, he has freed the beast, altering him, with the intention to use Sion as an engine of war.
And so after an eternity of waiting, Sion has once again risen up to deal death on the fields of war.
Sion cares little for anything that is not battle, serving as a near unthinking killing machine, needing the essence of departing life force to power the arcane forge that sustains him.
As it is stoked by death, the titan regains more and more of his mind, to remember the man he once was, only to watch it slip away again after the heat of battle.

Undead:
Sion is physically dead, rendering him immune to all effects of the damage table except dismemberment and blindness. He also has no need to breath, eat, or sleep, and does not have a fatigue track in battle.
Soul Forge:
Within Sion is a device powered by Death. It continually operates at a baseline, siphoning power from the World Without Sun, in order to keep Sion at a human level of regeneration, and vaguely active. When fed with nearby deaths, it begins working better, improving his natural abilities, and powering his Kinetic Engine, allowing him to utilise its abilities. By being powered by the World Without Sun, it cannot be deprived of energy by nearby interference, but is reliant on the energies of death to function.
If Sion damaged or hurt, the Soul forge will slowly heal him at human rates. If he is killed or his body destroyed, the Soul Forge will slowly reconstruct him, as well at a human rate. In order to permanently pacify Sion, his Soul Forge will need to be completely destroyed, a difficult task as the device is nigh invulnerable to physical and magical harm. The focus of a powerful Conduit, Phayder, or Outer Dark Creature may be needed.
Mechanically speaking, the Forge runs off of an Energy system. A nearby animal death fills the Forge with 2-3 energy depending on its size and health. The death of a human can fill it up by around 5-6. The Forge naturally depletes at the rate of a single Energy an hour.
- Depleted Soul Forge; 0 Energy:
When the Sould Forge reaches empty, it will go into Depletion Mode, impairing Sion's natural stats, and reducing his entire skillset by -2, leaving him little more than a violent, feral beast. His Kinetic Engine cannot be used at this stage.
- Baseline Soul Forge; 1-10 Energy:
At this stage, the Soul Forge augments Sion's physical stats, invigorating him, and allowing him to use his skills at no penalty.
- Activated Soul Forge; 10+ Energy:
Now fully active, Sion's cognitive functions fully return, and has enough power to utilise his Kinetic Engine.
Kinetic Engine:
A Guardian device fitted in conjunction with the Soul Forge, the Kinetic Engine is capable of augmenting, redirecting, and nullifying the kinetic force of Sion himself, and objects in contact with him. By being powered by the World Without Sun, it cannot be deprived of energy by nearby interference, but is reliant on the energies of death to function.
- Kinetic Amplification; 2-4 Energy:
By spending 2 Energy, Sion can double the strength of an attack, throw, or action, for a single round. By charging for 2 rounds and spending 4 Energy, he can quadruple it.
- Kinetic Nullification; 1 Energy Per 2 Damage:
Sion is capable of negating all physical attacks against him by absorbing their kinetic energy, at a rate of 1 Energy per 2 damage.
- Kinetic Burst:
Sion can store the damage absorbed by Kinetic Nullification, and release it in a shockwave around him.
- Kinetic Charge;
10 Energy: Initiating a running start, Sion can activate this function, increasing his speed to 20 for as long as he is in motion, and absorbing all kinetic damage against him for the duration.
- Depleted Soul Forge; 0 Energy:
War Axe:
A staggeringly large, long handled, bearded great axe, it is Sion's weapon of choice. It has no enchants apart from Guardian enchants of sturdiness and longevity, and is nigh indestructible.
Body Plating:
The majority of Sion's left arm, his lower jaw, and left foot, are covered in Guardian forged plating, bolted to his very bones, or in the case of his leg, completely replaced. It serves mostly as armor, and adds crushing damage to Sion's unarmed attacks. They too are enchanted with Guardian enchants of sturdiness and longevity, and are nigh indestructible.
Twitch
A ratkin hailing from the deeper recesses of the City-Engine, the sewers specifically, Twitch is a rather eccentric individual whose priorities are somewhat skewed. He collects garbage, filth, poisons, toxic run off, and whatever other foul muck that he can find. He'll raid facilities for it, can be bargained with with some as leverage, and is the utter bane of the City-Engine Plumbing and Reclamation Organisation.
Despite that, his abilities in stealth, venoms, and his crossbow, are without peer. Somehow, he has managed to evade the probing sensors of the Engineers Guild, the local predations of the rumored Naga, and accidental death through pollution, deprivation, or whatever other "natural" predators the City-Engine sewers has cultivated.
Twitch can at best be called eccentric and at worst, deranged.
He revels in his collection of strangeness with a sort of manic glee, fiercely possessive of whatever he thinks is his, and is openly derisive of clean air, soap, and fresh food.
That said, the ratkin does possess some more banal hobbies, at least in comparison. A particular favorite is reading and editing cheap romance novels, though his skill at doing either is... questionable.

Venom:
Either through legendary stealth or surprising business acumen, Twitch has managed to obtain a substantial quantity of various Naga venoms. Every single crossbow bolt that the ratkin possesses is liberally coated in the stuff, and he uses his own alchemical skills to mix and concoct even more lethal variations.
Experimental Crossbow:
An experimental repeating venom lacing crossbow stolen from a top side laboratory, it has been subject to all manner of torrid conditions and poor treatment, as well as several repairs and adjustments by various parties, not all of which knew exactly what they were doing. The fact that it works at all, let alone as well as it does is a mystery.
Venom Flasks:
A series of fist sized glass containers, all filled with some vile concoction of venom and toxic chemicals, all intended to be thrown with extreme prejudice.
Swain
A powerful Djuke and masterful tactician, Swain is a force to be reckoned with in the current Imerian political environment.
His history, or indeed, any real personal information, are all unknown, though there are countless rumors. What is known, however, is his tactical and political skill, earning him the Djukanim title of King of Commanders.
Currently, Swain is slowly gathering together skilled individuals, particularly Infernals, and establishing a powerbase around the South Eastern Coasts. His ultimate aims are unknown, but already tensions are rising between his faction and that of the Inquisition.
Swain is enigmatic and ruthless, carrying with him a force of will and regality that is a prime example of Djuke heritage.

Ascendance: 5
Powers:
- Validus - Djukanim can spend 5 Essence to increase any Attribute by their Ascendance for one turn.
- Aestus - Djukanim can spend 5 Essence to project raw energy against a target.
Essence: 20
Expressions:
- Carrion Renewal: Swain is a conqueror, in name and deed, and this Expression reflects this. For every enemy that Swain personally defeats or kills, Swain regains his Ascendance in Essence.
- Nevermove: True divinity lies in the ability to give an order and have it obeyed, regardless of the targets wishes. Swain may spend 5 Essence to order an individual or group he is looking at to stop, and should they fail a willpower check, have them obey it for his Ascendance in seconds. They may move or attack, but cannot leave that spot until the duration is ended.
- Torment: The ire of a king is not so easily forgotten. At a cost of 5 Essence, any enemy that Swain attacks, either physically or verbally, can receive a penalty that reduces the requisite soak stat; such as Physical Soak for a physical, or their composure for a verbal, or willpower for magic, for seconds equal to his Ascendance.
- Aura of Command: Swain enjoys bonus dice to his leadership rolls, equal to half his Ascendance, rounded down.
- Ravenous Form: By spending 10 Essence, and costing two Essence per turn to maintain, Swain can transform into a monstrous crow like creature, improving his physical stats. Not only that, but this form augments his Carrion Renewal, allowing him to reclaim health and condition for every enemy he personally defeats or kills.
- Validus - Djukanim can spend 5 Essence to increase any Attribute by their Ascendance for one turn.
Beatrice:
An unusual blood fed creature, Beatrice is a trained crow that has been heavily Invested, so much so that it has gained some minor mutations. It is capable of acting on command, including attacking or spying. Its true origins or capabilities, like Swain's, are unknown, but it is believed to be a powerful Communer construct.
