  omg hey, i'm evi! this is my official 1 x 1 thread. i used to have many others, but they were so low-effort and TRASH that i deleted them. this one is certified, notarized, neat, pink, and official.
  WARNING: i always want romance 1 x 1s, sometimes with obsessive and darker themes so if that is not ur thing, pls click off! I'M SORRY FOR BEING A FREAKING WEIRDO.

  this section will have story descriptions, a setting, and a word bank of general ideas/themes i'm looking for. i'm right now craving m x m, but i could be convinced to do m x f or f x f. i'm easily convinced. it SUCKS. also, the two chars will be named A & B for the scenarios below, and i am usually impartial to who i play unless otherwise specified. omg ALSO i'm a weirdo and love crazy obsessive dynamics. that's ur warning. ok without further ado!
  
  

  • i've been looking for you. (setting: modern day, japan)
    • word bank [found family, heartache, coming together again, "it's my turn to protect you", repaying for kindness, "we're adults now", rich and poor, running from the past, identity issues]
      • A&B were once children in an abusive, underfunded orphanage. B was a little older and taller than A, and B always tried to protect A from hunger and harm's way by their "caretakers". they considered one another family and found no other solace but in each other. however, B was adopted at age twelve, and A was not. after a tearful goodbye, B left A to fend for themselves. and that was where A remained until A aged out of the system. A never forgot about B. having no connections, no family, nothing to cushion A in the outside world, A searched for B. A made end's meet somehow, but they never stopped searching. they did happen to track down B eventually with the help of orphanage records. B was someone under a new name studying at a prestigious university. it turns out they were adopted by a stern yet wealthy family and had completely separated themselves from their former life -- and A.
  • the dante sonata. (setting: modern day, austria)
    • word bank [demons, moral conflict, sacrifice, tortured artist, surrender to carnal whims, faustian bargain, obsession, dark, twisted, introspective, toxic dynamic]
      • A is a demon and B is a human. B was a child prodigy in piano, renowned in the classical music world for their heart-touching interpretations of pieces. they loved one thing. not money, not fame, not praise -- they loved the piano and only the piano. as an adult, they found their career flourishing and prospering in Europe, though they would tour all over the world. this came to an abrupt end after a fatal diagnosis of an illness that inhibited their movement. A has been watching B for years, entranced by their purest love for the instrument. A has posed as a wealthy sponsors for young pianists, specifically in Austria, which is where they find B fighting their music's death sentence. A strikes up a deal with the sick B. A will cure their disease in exchange for the slow feeding of B's soul, tiny piece by tiny piece. B accepts, but as this contract plays out, they find one another transferring these obsessive feelings onto one another. A's obsession with the composition of B's soul slowly forms to an obsession with B. B's obsession with music slowly transfers to A -- and B cannot play without the presence of A.

      • A used to be a high school classmate of B's. they were never quite close -- only one event defined their relationship in high school. it was an odd moment of vulnerability, where A broke down and cried in B's arms. it could have been anyone, but it was B who held them and comforted them after the death of a close family member. A's life was uprooted, and they were forced to move elsewhere after that. they did not let this tragedy define them in their new home. they worked hard, and they became successful in their adulthood, if not a little cold and closed off. for whatever reason, they decided to take a small break from work over the winter. as they walked down the street, someone ran into them and splashed a hot cup of tea on their shirt. when A looked down, it was B. B, who did not immediately recognize them and rather apologized immediately. they insisted on A following them to their tea shop, an inheritance and lofty responsibility from B's family. B was now the owner and was dead set on caring for A and nursing their burns (the tea was hot). then, they recognize one another and catch up -- not yet acknowledging the tragedies in B's life in high school.

      • A and B are both from wealthy business tycoon families who have warred with each other for decades. A's family has snubbed a considerable amount of clients from B's family, and B's family has fired back by petty mud-slinging advertisements about the A family's companies. the rivalry, in recent years, has become sensationalized. people align themselves with A's family's company for benefit 1, 2, 3, and others do the same for B's family's company. the heads of these families decided that their collaboration would be more beneficial financially and reputation-wise rather than their fighting. for the good of the families, they proposed their 20-something year old children will marry within a year. B has an identical twin, one more outgoing, charismatic, perfect for the public eye. A has been in love with B's twin since childhood and was excited to hear of the announcement. B was heartbroken at the announcement, for they have been madly in love with A since childhood too. but like all things, they endure it for the family's sake. A and B's twin spend a bit of time together before the official wedding, but a few months before, B's twin falls with a mysterious illness. their families do not wish to call off the wedding or engagement, as public circulation has been high. they can only replace B's twin with B. always the more intelligent twin, always the overlooked twin, it is their time to shine and inherit the family -- but most importantly, to inherit the affections of A, their obsession.
