Fantasy Everything Is Not As It Seems...

"Then how the hell are you so relaxed" I asked frustrated "Nevermind that actually, lets just go find someone who does know where the hell we are" I began walking again, not even taking notice of the guy Aurora had just spotted, I couldn't do anymore introductions. But after not even 20 seconds, i came into a room that had a circle of 9 seats set out. A man was sitting in one of them. "Ah Oliver" He said and gestured to one of the seats "Please have a seat" I was at a loss for words.

Sapphira glanced around silently, biting her lip. She spotted Caiden out of the corner of her eye, walking over to him as though she was unsure of herself. She often was. "Hello," she said quietly. "I'm Sapphira. What's your name?"

"Alright everyone seems, like this man knows something." Referred Cole to the person in the room where Oliver just walked in. "Let's all get in so he might tell us what is this about." Told cole to the others. There were many girls, and they were not half bad. What's more... Looking to one of the girls, he started to get into the room, and take a seat.

The raven haired boy unfolded his notebook, and on the page his name was written in the big fancy letters.

"Caiden." It said. He then began writing down what the other girl wanted to know.

"I have no idea where we are. Should I...?" He asked on the page, looking over at the two girls with eyes that were as dull and sparse as the walls. However his multi-colored eyes were quite the sight to be seen...

"Maybe we should follow that guy who left.... He seemed like a leader type." Caiden wrote down again, showing everyone. With that in mind, Caiden closed the notebook and calmly left in the direction that Oliver did, arriving shortly to the same room.

He sat down and leaned back, already seeming very bored of the situation.

lake sighed in frustration. "I'm Lake, that's Oliver, that's Cole, the mystery guy." She pointed at the blond guy. "There's Sleeping Beauty and Caiden, apparently." She growled again. "Now we all know each other so can we please find out where the hell we are?!" She asked a little harsher then intended. "I don't care who's the leader. I just want to get the fuck out of here!"

Caiden couldn't help the small smile that formed on his face as he wrote out something else on his notebook.

"Calm your tits already. Arguing doesn't solve this problem." It said. Caiden put the notebook towards Lake, and he snickered a bit at her expense. He knew that most people were going to be all bark and no bite, so he never minded trying to anger those kinds of people. It proved out to be a very fun experiment in the long run...

"Besides, don't you think we all want to know at least one thing about where we are?" He wrote again. Lake was just making this into a fun little game for Caiden. A game in which he normally wouldn't have liked as his past self.

Sapphira nodded. She slipped into the room quietly, happy someone with a more dominant personality was taking control. She sat down, glancing at her clasped hands in her lap.

Aurora gave Lake a shove, harder than intended, so she hit the wall hard and spat, "Shut the hell up b****!" Without looking back, she walked away. Shortly after, she arrived at the room that seemed to be the point of focus as of now. She went in and sat down in a random chair and laced her fingers together before she did something she would regret. She stayed silent, staring blankly at the wall across from her and thought just breathe. What would your mom say if she knew you gave a girl a concussion?

These other girls scared her. The thought flashed in Sapphira's mind instantaneously. All she wanted was to avoid trouble, but these girls seemed to be obsessed with it. She glanced at the guys; they didn't seem all too bad, considering they were complete strangers.

"Okay, now I really need my drugs!" Lake breathed and headed after Oliver, she had had it with all these people. Why was it that she only had Speed and some XTC in her pockets?! Cursing herself she stomped away from the others. She was very close to snapping.

I didn't sit down. I stood quite far back. "Its great that you guys are just willing to sit here and listen to their excuses for kidnapping us" I said frustrated "But I'm not that easy to convince."

"You can't tell me that you aren't having fun... The possibilities are endless for this kind of situation. I am having fun." Caiden wrote on the paper, turning it around so Oliver could see. He had always been trying his best to make the scribbling on his notebooks, look elegant as well as arrogant. So far he was doing a mighty fine job with that aspect.

Caiden tapped his fingers on the table, wishing that he had worn his headphones to sleep. Surely then they would have still been with him, as well as his precious IPod.

"I am interested too dude. However I'm not gonna waste my energy on standing there when I could use it to beat the crap out from him when he told what we all wanna hear." Said Cole as an answer to Oliver's complaining. "Putting that aside, it doesn't matter if you are mad so you could just save some energy by being calm." Added a little bit later.

"Besides Silent Steve over there, I'm pretty sure we're all wondering what the hell we're doing here," aurora stated, her eyes darting over to Oliver. "Logically there's gotta be something about each of us that they know considering out of every other person in existence, the decided to lock us up together."

I sighed. I was too anxious to argue. I sat down impatiently and told the man to get on with it. "As you wish" he said politely "THis is gonna take a while. Many years ago, when you were all born, the doctors who delivered you discovered something...strange about you all. First off, you, Aurora, you had an extremely high body temperature for your age. You, Oliver, had ridiculous amounts of energy coursing through your body. Cole, you were extremely strong for your age, you managed somehow to pick the table up. At each of your birth's, one of our agents were there. We are the Extra Terrestrial Discovery Unit, or ETDU, a section of the government that looks into anything that is not...normal. We couldn't really explained any of you though, we had never seen anything that matched you guys. And then we discovered it. You all had inhuman abilities. Aurora, the ability to manipulate fire, which explained your body temperature. Oliver, the ability to manipulated energy, currents and lightning, explaining the energy running through your body. Cole, inhuman strength. Here's a list of your powers, so you get to know yourself and your friends here" He handed a sheet of paper around, that had a list of our names, and next to them two abilities. "Invisibility" I said quietly flabbergasted to myself. "I know this is a lot to take in, so i'll give you guys a second" the man said "My Name is Tobias Eaton by the way."

Sapphira looked at the paper in shock. "No, this can't be right." Her eyes were wide as she gazed at the man. "I'm... I'm nothing special."

Aurora quickly stood up and made her way over to Sapphira. She quickly took the paper from her and found her name. "Force feilds?" She looked back up from the paper at the man dumbfounded. She started shaking her head and laughing, "You're part of the government. They're nothing but a bunch of liars! I think I would have known if I could control fire!"

Lake started laughing, crumpling the piece of paper in her hand. "Very funny." She stopped laughing and glared daggers at the man. "This," She held up the paper ball. "Is ridiculous. Can I please go home now? I'm not in the mood for jokes."

These girls scared her. The thought flashed in Sapphira's mind instantaneously as she shrunk back, allowing Aurora to take the paper without a fight. Her mouth opened slightly, as though ready to protest, but she shut it quickly. She would never win in a fight against her.

Caiden stared just as calmly as ever at the piece of paper in front of him. His just very simply stated was;

"Seeing Sound." Whatever that had meant. But as Caiden looked around the room and saw the normal fluctuations he's always seen, things began to make sense. He never brought it up to anyone, thinking that maybe everyone saw the same things... Guess not.

So did this mean that in time he would be able to manipulate it? There was a brief description of the power on the page, however Caiden knew it was just more of something to be felt...

He wrote diligently in the notebook and held it up to this
"Tobias" person.

"So... What do you want with us then? I can assume that it's some sort of governmental aid?" He asked, still with a blank expression, that seemed like it would never change.

Aurora sat back down silently. What if they are serious? Do I really have these.....abilities? How? Why? These questions roamed through her mind. A confused look painted on her face, she stared down at her hands then spoke up, "Why should we believe you?"

"This is no joke my friends. We were not supposed to pull you out of your lives ever, unless in grave need of it" Tobias said and looked at Caiden "And we are in grave need of it. You see, humankind has a lot more contact with other species on other planets than the people know. But we don't let them know because it could be dangerous. Anyway, we have been informed by one of our 'friends' out there that something big is coming. And soon. So we needed the best protection when it does come. And well, thats you guys." I laughed. "This is such bulls***" I said quietly, but still loud enough for everyone to hear. "Oh and you should probably believe me, because at the moment" he said shrugging a bit "You don't really have another option"
