Fantasy Everything Is Not As It Seems...

I watched Oliver, feeling a bit confused. What the hell was that I thought before shrugging my shoulders. I carefully picked up my gloves and walked out. I slowly walked down the hallway, feeling pain with every step I took. I finally made it back and slowly laid down on my bed, not bothering to close my door.

I paced the hallways till I found what I was looking for. "Hey Tobias" I said walking towards him. "Oh hello Mr.St-" he was cut off by me punching him hard in the face. He staggered back, and before he could reply I had hit him again. His nose was bleeding badly. "Please Oliver" he plead. "I'm not going to hit you again, but know this" I snarled "This whole thing you got going here, its going to be done OUR way, not yours. So you either get me a map of this place and show me the exit to your facility, or I continue this." I gestured to his nose. He got up, and lead me down a couple hallways into a lab. He handed me a large piece of paper that was rolled up and I unrolled it. It was indeed the facility with everything, including the exit labelled. "Does the door automatically open?" I asked. He nodded. "Thanks. From now on, any of us can leave as we please."I said firmly. He was about to protest, but thought better of it and just nodded again.

I went back down the hallways, using the map as muly guide and found my way over to Aurora's room. I peeked in the door and saw that she was lieing there, seemingly in pain. "Hey, sorry about...that" I said as I walked in slowly "But are you up for a little walk. I promise it will be worth it." l flashed her a charming grin.

I looked over and shook my head slightly, "You must've really been out of it. Sapphira accidentally mentally threw a weight at me. It hit my equipment, and I dropped a hundred pounds on my chest. I'm not so sure I could make it." I gave a small smile and adjusted the ice. "It hurts too much to walk...Sorry," I added with a hint of sadness lacing my voice.

I walked over, sat on the edge of her bed and handed her the map. "My gift to you" I said with a smile "Tobias has allowed us to come and go as we please, so I was going to take you out for a bit. But let me know when you're up for it, okay?"

I took it and opened it as a smile spread across my face. "I'm pretty sure I can do that," I said and started to blush lightly. After rolling the map back up, I sat it on the table then took my necklace off. I sat it next to my journal and breathed in deeply, ignoring the pain.

"I'll be right back" I said, grinning at the smile that appeared on her face. Then I leaned in very close to her, so my lips were brushing her ear and whispered "Just hope you realise, that when I say taking you out, I mean taking you OUT." I left with a wink and went to take a shower.

I turned bright pink as I blushed, unsure of how to react. I gook my head slightly and sat up, slowly stretching my arms. What exactly did he mean by that I thought as the pain slowly started to fade little by little. I stood up and walked around hoping it would help.

I took a fairly long shower, so I could give Aurora time to think it over. Then, when I was done, I found my favorite red shirt that I knew, with evidence and testimony, looked great on me and found some regular blue jeans. I slipped on a pare of VANS and decided that while I let her decide if she was okay to go, I would take a trip to a point on the map that interested me called 'The Simulation Sector"...

I felt my body heat up, and the pain melted away. I could get used to this fire thing I thought before getting a shower. Once I got out, I slid on a grey tank top and a blue plaid button up shirt. I put on a pair of regular blue skinny jeans and my favorite pair of grey boots. I put my necklace on and quickly did my makeup. After looking around the bathroom for a few minutes, I found a straightener and straightened my hair. Once I finished, I grabbed the map and walked out of my room, looking around.

It turned out that the 'The Simulation Sector' was 'Off-Limits for now' according to the very unfriendly guard at the door. I decided I didn't really feel like getting into something with the guy, so I flipped him off and walked away, hearing him muttering to the other guard as I left. I grinned and walked back to my room, but on the way I saw Aurora walking my way. "Wow" I said my eyes wide as I walked towards her "You..uhm...wow."

I blushed looking down and giggled softly at Oliver's reaction. "I hope that's a good thing," I said nervously and a bit timidly. I smiled looking back up an started messing with my hair. I thought I could do a much better job, but in the amount of time, I figured it was okay.

"Come on" I said smiling at her and boldly taking her hand in mine "Lets go" I lead the way to the place I had already memorized to be the exit, and it was just a set of stairs leading up to a big metal plate that was above our heads. "That son of a -" but i stopped as I saw a big red button on the wall next to us. I pressed it, and the metal plate slid away, revealing fresh air and sunlight. "Oh thank god" I said walking out, still hand-in-hand with Aurora. We were in the midst of a bunch of trees, but I could see a path straight ahead of us that looked to lead to a city that was only a few 100 meters away. "Well" I said looking at her "Shall we?"

I smiled shyly and followed slightly behind Oliver. Once we got outside, I took a deep breath and smiled widely. I nodded a bit, looking at him, "We shall." As I spoke, I started walking down the path cautiously. I smiled looking around at the scenery and said, "It's beautiful."

"Yeah it is" I said admiring the outdoors "But then again after being in that place, I would probably call a moss covered rock beautiful" We got to the city a few minutes later, but it wasn't really that. It was more like a town, it was quite small and had a whole bunch of local, non-chain restaurants and stores. "Pick a place, any place, its on me" I said, then grinned "Well more like on them" I pulled out a ETDU bank card that I had found in one of the labs that was supposed to be 'Off-Limits' as well but weren't nearly well guarded enough.

I laughed softly and looked around, unaware of what to choose. I looked at Oliver, "Doesn't matter to me. Just no seafood." I smiled sweetly before looking down. It had been a while since I'd been out, and to be completely honest, I was nervous as hell. I smiled looking at the card and shook my head slightly.

"Ah you see we're getting to know each other" I said with a smirk "You don't like seafood" I saw a little pizza place that also looked like a non-chain place. "In my experience, these local run pizza places are the best ones" I said walking in with Aurora. "Yeah table for two please" I said to the guy at the front desk. "Right this way" He said, leading me and Aurora to a booth. "Well this works, thanks" I said and he nodded, said he would give us a minute and left. "Ladies first" I said gesturing to the booth.

I smiled and sat in the booth before looking down. I interlocked my fingers nervously as I tap my foot. I watched everyone else, unsure of what to say or do. I sat there in silence as I stared at the menu. Taking a shallow, deep breath, I finally looked up and smiled.

"Come on, relax" I said, slipping in next to her "We're outside, in a nice restaurant and not everything is grey. You have nervousness all over your face"

"Probably because I am nervous. I haven't been out in a while," I said shrugging my shoulders. "It's something I can't help." I look around noticing the waiter comingback and look at you, "Anything is fine with me."

I ordered us some simple food and drinks, and then sat back in the booth, inhaling deeply. "Its nice to finally not smell nothing" I said with a small chuckle "Like seriously, it was like they put a chemical in that place that you can't smell anything."

"I thought it was just me. I noticed it when I was painting my room," I said smiling. "I'm assuming they lost all their senses in some governmental freak accident." I couldn't help but laugh at the thought, but I quickly put a hand over my chest. The pain once again melted as I felt my body temperature rise.

I smile, slightly confused as to why Oliver was so concerned. "No, it's fine. Being able to raise my body temperature helps. It was a hundred pounds. It's not going away in less than a day," I laugh and put my hands in my lap, "I haven't eaten in over a day. I'm getting my food."

I nodded and relaxed. A few minutes later, the food and drinks arrived, the pizzas still steaming. "Well, enjoy real food" I said "Cause i don't know how many more times we're gonna get it for the next few weeks. Even though Tobias told me he was ok with us leaving when we pleased, I'm pretty sure me almost breaking his nose had something to do with that" I grinned a little evily

Sapphira watched Oliver and Aurora leave with disappointment. "Great," she said. "Now I'm stuck with everyone else here in this hell hole." She took advantage of the now empty training room, trying to move the five pound weight again.
