Alrighty so since Devlin asked me to talk about it.
Gender under here is conditional, still haven't decided.
So Blacklion, your character's gonna be an Abyssal seeking redemption. Here's something I've thought, since he might come from the armies of the Mask of Winters when they invaded Thorns, perhaps my character stood at the gate there, fearless and undaunted by the waves of the undead, spurring the people around him on to defend his home and making a rather valiant effort, for a mortal, to protect this place. Your character spurning such pathetic vainglory behavior slays many of his companions before his gaze, mocking and tormenting him for his arrogance to stand like this before the Mask of Winters' legions.
And then my character Exalts. It's a close fight but in the end my character falls down. You don't bother looking at him, after all he was just freshly Exalted, there's no way he survived. And so once Thorn has fallen my character wakes up to find his entire world shattered and his loved ones either dead... or worse. Heartbroken but still steadfast he dust himself off and wanders the world, trying to prepare it for the plague of the Deathlords and also to bring a better life to the common folk he meets.
Years go by and so he earns the name Virtuous Merciful Wandering Feather from the people he's served and who no longer fear him as Anathema for he has done them so much good and has proven himself their loyal protector over and over.
And then they meet again as your character stand on the crossroad leading to his current hometown, seeking escape from the grasp of his Deathlord and salvation from the hellish nightmare his life has become.
And so their story begins.

So how much are we going to be doing rolls for things between players? Like, is it going to be more RP focused in inter-player interaction, or just rolls?

I would prefer more just play focused, rolls save for when you really want to impose your will.

No, like I said on MSN, I'm really glad you did it - first meetings and impressions, I think, are the optimal time TO do that. I just don't want to have to roll every time we have an argument is all

Hang in there while I figure out all of his quirks, k? (If you're curious, Terrestrial - water - Robin Hood without the pesky 'giving back' part, aimed at belittling those festering in power and riches.)

Festival? No, I went through lists of 'weird baby names' and picked one that sounded archaic and nifty.
It's easier to type than HONEST DOLPHIN OF THE TEEMING WAVES, his other moniker.
