Been a while
S-99. It was the pill that changed everything. Over 99% of people who'd take it ended up dead. It was a quick death but not a painless one. Those who didn't die, though...
It was only the desperate and the mad that took it. Those who were dying and had no other options. Those who gambled with their lives, willing to toss them away in exchange for unparalleled power. Those so loyal to their ideologies that they would face certain death for a chance to truly make a difference.

A little bit about me, before I get into the roleplay itself again!
I've been a roleplayer for a good while now. At least ten years and while I am usually open for roleplayers of pretty much any level of skill, I'm specifically looking for more literate partners now. So, around three paragraphs of actual good content (not all fluff). More is always welcome - though there is always such a thing as too much - and less is fine as well, depending on the scene. But three paragraphs on average sounds great to me.
In my roleplays I love focusing on the characters. Bending them with situations I put them in and find out how much they can take before they break. I also love weaving complex plots and coming up with interesting paths to take us down.
What you can expect from me is deep characters, emotional plots, and well-crafted settings. I will put plenty of effort into my posts and I'll do my best to post regularly and let you know when life gets in the way. I'm also definitely down for taking things OOC and making a friendship. After all, if we have fun roleplaying together, we clearly have similar tastes
As for the roleplay itself, you're welcome to play whoever you want. I have plenty of characters planned on my end and I should have many opportunities to play around with whoever you come up with. Now, the characters I have in mind are fairly flexible so they might change based on what we decide on but here are a few suggested openings if it might spark your interest: leader of a three-person anti-villain squad, a close partner to an evil genius, an agent of a superhero oversight agency, a regular civvie who got forced into taking S-99... But these are just random examples to get your brain moving. If you'd like something else, I'd love to hear it!
