If you apply the term "monster" to a human, it instantly changes from something beast-like or stereotypical to a person who's done horrible things. Thats true, although each person has a definition for monster, human or not.Aldur said:Cause... that's the definition of the word "monster"? I'd say it's a pretty given fact that when you prompt someone with the word "monster" the first thing that comes to mind will be a thing with claws and fangs most of the time. Otherwise, there's too much philosophy involved. It's just the default definition of the word.Hellfire said:Thats true, although each person has a definition for monster, human or not.
I was talking about monsters in the sense of humans beings. I realize that the word monster alone implies claws and fangs. I'm simply saying that their are different ways of defining a human monster.Aldur said:I'd say it's a pretty given fact that when you prompt someone with the word "monster" the first thing that comes to mind will be a thing with claws and fangs most of the time.
