Afloris Kingdom

The kingdom of Afloris is a middle-sized country with a population of 304.086. Bordered between a swampland to the North, a large, frozen lake to the South, a huge mountain to the East and a tropical forest to the West, the country of Afloris mainly lives off tailoring, blacksmithing and weaponsmithing.

Afloris itself is mainly covered in fertile lands and has a humid climate, which has led to lightly spread population, despite the number of people, which means most of them live in small towns.

The royal palace stands in the middle of it all.

The country’s landscape is sublime; huge waterfalls, impressive architecture and red leaved trees are just a sliver of the glory Afloris has to offer, which is why the country is a cherished destination among foreigners. The people of Afloris are kindhearted towards foreigners and tend to welcome them with a bright smile. They feel foreigners could reinforce the country’s well-being.

Afloris has strict laws and law enforcement, which is fairly normal. The people are harmonious due to their rich lands, thanks to ancestral spirits.

This is also reflected in the country’s flag, which has a cross dividing a background in 4 triangular parts in dark pink and white. Their coat of arms is a bow and arrow above a lake.

Their currency is Huya.

Government & Armed Forces

The Royal family Caltraz lives in the royal palace in the middle of the Kingdom [capitol]. The King Victor Caltraz rules Afloris Kingdom. The parliament serves as the kingdom’s legislature and judiciary. The current chairman is Codey Goatpicker.

The Afloris soldiers are called Afoo Knights and are responsible for the protection of the kingdom. They are divided into five squads, which are headed by the strongest Afoo Knights who receive the title of Captain: Marcellinus Lykos [female/South], Valentinus Blandinus [male/Capitol], Kröll Volgin [male/East], Jafar Spandex [male/North] and Ardril Rosegrove [female/West]. A recent squad had been added with the last update, only available in the secret server. They don’t have a set area so can explore to their heart’s content. Though if danger can’t be stopped by a squad, they’ll be the first to be send as reinforcements. The captain of this squad will be Ellis Whisperia [see CS thread].

Classes

Archer

If you like having a tool for every job, the archer is the class for you – especially if you like tools that explode, penetrate armor, or trap enemies in magical spider webs! In battle, archers leave a trail of victims that look like pincushions – many dead before they knew what hit them. Playing an archer rewards you for using clever tactics and thinking two steps ahead of your enemy.
> Marksman. – An archer strikes hard, fast and from far off. Although their arrows diversify as they level up, if you’re going to have just one tricks, putting a hole in someone’s head before they see you is a good one.
> Sabotage. – Archers poison, stun, trap and damage their targets, giving them advantages in any encounter.
> Armour: Light. – Archers wear leather armor for speed and mobility. Those who fight and run away need less healing at the end of the day.
> Weapon: Bow. – Archers use bows, of course, but it’s the broad range of arcane arrows that make the class: piercing arrows, exploding arrows, rapid-fire arrows, poison arrows, arrows that hit multiple enemies in one shot, and more.

Berserker
The berserker is an offensive juggernaut with better-than-average defensive capabilities, heavy armor and an axe block that absorbs damage. Their capacity for sheer destruction gives them a place of honor in any party, and they can fend for themselves while soloing.
> Frontal Assault. – The berserker lives for combat. As they move from one downed opponent to the next, berserkers must keep attacking to generate MP.
> Siege Breaker. – A berserker on the front lines scatters, stuns, knocks down and spins around their opponents. There’s no formation they can’t disrupt, and no opponents too big to fell.
> Armor: Heavy. – Berserkers wear metal armor so they can stand on the front lines and take as much punishment as possible. And when they plant their axe, only the most powerful attacks can move them.
> Weapon: Axe. – A berserker’s axe is functional on both offense and defense. It’s the strongest weapon on the front lines, but still agile enough for precise strikes.

29. Unbreakable – Temporarily protects you from going below 1 HP.

Lancer
As powerful in defense as in attack, the lancer’s role in a fight is at the head of the formation. His heavy shield absorbs damage, while his lance provides striking power that’s targeted yet effective against multiple foes. Numerous skills for drawing aggro let the lancer take the heat and give his party members more opportunities. Lancers can minimize damage to their own party and help them devastate the enemy.
> Bastion. – A lancer’s shield not only protects him; it protects those clustered behind him. Lancers are a walking safe spot for the wounded as they escape, and a refuge for ranged fighters who want to get in closer.
> Battering Ram. – Besides pinning down foes and shrugging off their attacks, lancers can drive forward, drilling through anything in front of them, mowing down multiple targets as easily as one.
> Armor: Plate. – Lancers fight in heavy armor and with the addition of their outstanding shield defense, are so well-protected they have some to spare for those around them.

Mystic
Mystics walk a wild path, wielding primal powers to heal allies, summon thralls and curse their foes. Mystics travel the battlefield freely, helping where they can and anticipating the enemy’s next moves. If you can keep up, the safest place in the world to stand is near a mystic.
> Creator. – Mystics, more than any other class, control the flow of battle. They strategically place HP recovering and MP replenishing orbs around the battlefield, and generate auras that enhance (or protect from) critical hits, increase movement speed and continually replenish MP.
> Destroyer. – A mystic stuns, curses, sears and smites enemies. They can dispel buffs on foes and debuffs on allies with a simple gesture, and can drain HP from opponents and transform it into MP for allies. A mystic’s thralls are devastating allies that can stand claw to claw with the deadliest of enemies.
> Armor: Robes. – Mystics wear robes for protection, but mainly rely on their skills – and their magical pets – to ensure their survival on the battlefield.

Priests can bring allies back from the brink of death. They derive power from their devotion to the gods, but it’s their devotion to others that earns them fame and friends on the battlefield. A priest has spells to fortify and purify party members in need and more than enough firepower to go at it alone.
> Mercy. – The gods have the power to create and sustain life. By drawing on their power, a priest can heal wounds, cure sickness and bring together a scattered party.
> Justice. – The anger of the gods is terrible and priests are their instruments of retribution. Priests can call down divine fire, shock their foes with lightning bolts and inflict plagues upon them.
> Armor: Robes. – Cloth armor keeps priests nimble on the battlefield, ensuring they are always able to reach their allies with a healing hand, or their enemies with divine wrath. The priest’s ability to self-heal makes up for any shortcomings of priestly robes.

The slayer’s approach to combat is aggressive to mow down enemies, agile dodges to get behind foes, and leaping backflip kicks that stun enemies and open distance for a big attack.
> Agile Attacker. – Slayers strike like lightning: fast and devastating. Then they disappear the same way before the opponent can react.
> Melee Mayhem. – A sword two meters long leaves mighty big holes. There’s always room on the battlefield wherever a slayer has crossed it.
> Armor: Leather. – Because slayers wear light armor, they’re quick on their feet, and are often able to avoid damage that would fall to another player.

Warrior
A warrior deals damage with impressive, deadly feats of swordplay while weaving in and out of enemies’ attacks. It’s the warrior’s way to dive in the middle of the fray and mow down the opposition. Invulnerability while using the evasive roll skill means the warrior can do enough damage to hold aggro, and still dodge and roll out of harm’s way. Coming up from behind an opponent after a roll enables the warrior to strike from behind, before his opponent can turn and counterattack.
> Close Assault. - The warrior dishes out damage through speedy attacks, moving in a blur and misdirecting opponents. And when the enemy least expects it, they unleash another barrage of deadly strikes.
> Diversionary Tactics. – By stinging and pricking the target, whirling between its legs and then backstabbing, the skillful warrior can quite effectively occupy an opponent. But they also can call upon shadowy decoys, giving even the most dangerous boss reason to wonder if the warrior was even there at all. Until it’s too late, of course.
> Armor: Leather. – Warriors fight in light armor, which makes a good combination with their lightning-fast weapons. A risky strategy, but warriors prefer speed and avoidance to head-on slugging.

FOOD/DRINKS/OBJECTS/ETC.

Oshaltro

One could compare this to green tea herbs. Having a bittersweet but incredible refreshing taste. It’s often added in lemonades during the summer.

Arrenthe
This is really spicy, but tastes incredible if mixed well with other spices to milden its taste. It’s frequently used in super spicy dishes which isn’t suitable for everyone.

Ice Enolery
One can find this spice/herb in the mountains where it’s coldest. People use this mainly in the summer to cool off, adding it on ice cream for example. After eating this, one can even breathe out cold air for a few seconds, even when there’s a heatwave passing through.

Kelpie Buns
These are considered a delicacy in Afloris Kingdom. They’re made out of the meat of an actual Kelpie. The meat has a fishy, watery taste but tastes incredibly good when marinated and barbecued. The bun is soft and a little sweet.

CREATURES

Kelpie

The kelpie is a Scottish creature often associated with the realm of faerie. It also falls into the classification of water horse, although this one is decidedly malevolent. It most commonly appears as a beautiful horse near or in running water, and can be identified by the mane that seems to be constantly dripping wet. Females will sometimes appear as a beautiful woman dresses in green, bent on luring lustful men to their watery doom.
