VAMPIRES
Are immortal and as they get older their strengths, 'powers' and weaknesses grow as well. Vampires can turn humans but not every human is compatible for the change, the vampire can taste in the blood if a human is compatible for the change or not. Turning someone into a vampire requires the exchange of blood and after that feeding on a human, if the newly turned vampire doesn't make his first feeding they die.
Weaknesses:
Direct sunlight gives them migraines and if they stay in the sunlight for too long they dehydrate and go into bloodlust (it could eventually kill them if they don't feed in time), decapitation, silver inside their blood (if they get silver into the blood and don't remove it in time they die), burning them for long will kill them but if its not long enough they can recover with enough rest and blood, holy words (prayers and such make them weak like a human).
Skills/strengths:
Fast healing (the speed depends on how severe the injury is), speed, strength, heightened senses, compulsion (only works on humans that aren't immune to it or who don't have the vampire's blood in their system), their blood can heal small injuries of a human but that makes the human immune to compulsion until the blood is out of their system.
DONORS:
Donors are humans that give their blood to a vampire willingly in exchange for someday being turned into a vampire (when they will be turned depends on the agreement, some decide on a sooner date while some decide on a later one). The relationships between vampires and their donors are different from person to person and not necessarily romantic in nature but many are romantic because of the intimacy of a feeding.

INFO ABOUT THE STORY
The Gothic mansion called Primrose Manor was built in the early 1800's by the rich and renown Primrose family who at the time was one of three founding family's of the small town. In the late 1900's the last member of the Primrose family died, leaving the mansion empty and unoccupied. The beautiful building stood empty for a long time and eventually started looking more like a haunted house then the beautiful building it once was.
Just a while ago a mysterious stranger bought the Manor and restored it as much as he could. What People didn't know was that he was a vampire and that he had sent out invitations to a few of his fellow vampires, inviting them to live in the mansion. Each of the vampires moving into the mansion have their own reasons for moving in and the mysterious vampire that had sent out the invitation already left the town so the mansion is now all theirs to live in and do as they please.
