Yeah, Alvar is a softie. Braiding hair, petting, even just playing with hair is fun for him. So Cassian’s wings, which are bigger than him? Not even joking, adores it.

That's highly adorable and I love it. Cassian is more of a secret softie. He'd probably be a really touchy, cuddly person if not for his history. Plus, wings are sensitive and the one that's messed up gets sore/aches intermittently. I'll bet Alvar soothes Cassian when it hurts particularly badly. ;_;

In a way, yes. Xao tends to ignore his own feelings so he doesn't feel pain and prioritizes his sister because she is his life he has a sister complex

Alvar specifically is like those clusters of sand you find on beaches. If your careful with it, you can hold it in your hand, and even shape it a little. But a single wrong move and it just falls apart. And no matter how hard you try, it will never be the same again.
