I'm growing up but nothing's changing
In the beginning, everything was ethereal
You made me feel iridescently happy,
When I looked out at the moon I didn't feel alone,
Because I knew you were looking at it as well.
I should of realized this happiness was only ephemeral,
Because then you made me feel like waves going down onto the shore,
All of my bones cracked and broken,
Today when I look at the moon,
Everything is plain and empty.
Because of you, everything is cromulent.
