Ottered
Floatin' around space with a fishbowl.
I find introductions a bit awkward, and even more awkward when you try to avoid introductions by doing what I'm doing now, but I can't really think about how to start off. I find introducing myself way easier when talking. Not face to face though, I'm not good at that.
Anyway, this is primarily a fantasy thread, although I realise it may not be hugely successful, as everyone else seems to be after fandoms. I should get this out of the way and lay down some rules:
- I don't like fandom roleplays, not in the slightest. I don't mind inspiration from fandoms, but straight fandomming is boring.
- Literacy is very important to me. I don't mind the occasional error, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't do it myself, but if it looks like you can't be bothered, then I probably won't be either.
- Moving things forwards. Nothing worse than one person refusing to move things along.
And now for the plots/idea (at the moment I have only 1(ish), but I'll expand and add more as time goes on:
1. Someone proposed an idea to me while ago, and it reminded me of I Am Legend: there was a plague or virus of some sort which brought some kind of affliction upon the sufferers. The original idea had the virus turn people into werewolves, although I guess it could be anything, with the infected being contained in a city/area, eventually forming their own society, but kept inside by guards, not wanting the infection to spread. For the actual plot, you could have a regular human falling inside and succumbing to the infection, not being allowed out and so having to find their place in the infection zone, or you could have two packs/covens/clans engaging in some sort of war (which lends itself to all sorts of other plots). As a world, I really like this, and wouldn't mind playing it out with someone.
I'm also open to pretty much anything, so if there's anything that seems like it might interest me (ie. fantasy), just tell me about it.
