Gimme angst, gimme drama
Hi everyone! As the title suggests, I’m looking to do a very action packed espionage roleplay with a splash of romance set in either WW2 or the Cold War.
But before I jump into the details of the plot, I’d like to point out that my knowledge is very limited since I’m not reviewing this in uni. But, I’m willing to do some research for the sake of accuracy. All plots and ideas are inspired by movies of the eras. I’d also like to point out, I’m not going to do messed up pairings like Jew x nazi or anything like that.
Rules
- If interested, please send me a dm with a writing sample. If you’d also like to get a feel of my writing style, I have no problem sending one myself as well!
- I write in third person past tense, detailed.
- 20+ only. No minors.
- I prefer to write with women.
- Double up is REQUIRED. I also have a huge preference for all of our character interacting with each other just to create more interesting dynamics other than romantic partners.
- I would like to note that I don’t like pestering people for replies. So please, if you’re not interested let me know at ANY point. Whether it be in the planning stages, the beginning or mid roleplay, etc. I’d like to prevent my discord from getting cluttered with servers that won’t be used
- I do MXF primarily, but since we’re doubling, I’d be happy to do MXM or FxF.
PLOT
In the midst of war, the Cambridge University student body has found themselves in panic as it’s rumored that spies are amongst them. Friendships hang by a thread as no one can be trusted…no one.
- We can incorporate the real life instance of the Cambridge 5, a group of students that passed info to the soviets. This concept can also be set in a Cold War plot as well since they were active around that time.
Not everyone has to be a student! We can also have one be a solider or a nurse, stuff like that. Obviously, we can discuss specifics like these in plotting.
Concepts:
- I’d really like for there to be a brotherly dynamic. Not only will there be betrayal between lovers, but I would also like fro some sort of betrayal between siblings. Sorta like “I never knew you were with them” sorta thing if that makes sense.
- LOVERS to ENEMIES. I’m dying to do something like Muse A has NO IDEA who Muse B truly is.
- Student who wants nothing to do with the war or anything gets dragged into it by getting involved with the wrong person.
