The Infinite Being
Rule and Background:
  • Nightgate was established in 1842 to hold the worst kind of criminals. From the day its gates first opened, being sent to Nightgate only held criminals serving life sentences. As times changed, so did the prison. Now in 2020, it only hods super powered criminals. Yeah, some are worse than others, but nearly all of them will kill you for looking at them the wrong way.
  • So I'm going to take a lead from DC with their inhibitor collars, but instead of an actual collar it's, for lack of a better word, bracelet. One on each wrist that can be locked together both physically and with electromagnets. Their primary function is to block the use of powers and shock inmates who misbehave. Each one is made for a particular inmate to counteract their particular powers.
  • We are powerful, but no one as powerful as Superman exists in this universe.
  • Make sure your powers follow a form of logic. Why would a shapeshifter also be able to control fire?
  • I have no preference what you use for your appearance. It can be realistic, anime, or a written description. So long as it shows your character somewhat accurately it's fine.
  • I'm not expecting your bio to be overly detailed. Just cover the major points in their life. I'm expecting maybe two paragraphs, but if you can honestly cover it all in one then I won't make you change it (and more is certainly acceptable).
  • If your character has powers, make their origin make sense as well. Random accident, space radiation, born an alien, magic, whatever. Just don't randomly have powers just because. (This doesn't mean your character has to know where they come from, but you do.)
  • Not every section may apply to your character. If you run into this, fill it in with N/A or none or something to that affect.
  • Do not leave your CS a work in progress for more than 48 hours. If you reach that time limit I will copy the post into a private message and send it to you before deleting the original post. You can post it again later, but only in its completed form. I will try to give you a 12 hour warning. If extenuating circumstances pop up, just tell me and I will give you an additional 24 hours to complete it.

Powers: Eric is very skilled with a sect of blood magic that, unsurprisingly, is passed on through his bloodline. This particular gift allows him to create nearly undetectable thread-like-structures from his fingertips and give him near-telekinetic control over the objects they attach to. He can create multiple threads from each finger and even split them part way through. This by itself is fairly unremarkable, but things get more interesting when he uses them on people. He is practiced enough to control like puppets, hence the name Puppet Master. Eric prefers to control the dead. Before his capture, he had quite a collection of weaponized corpses.

The rest of his blood magic is more generic. He can summon his puppets by drawing a rune with, you guessed it: blood. Similarly he can draw a different rune and teleport himself (and anything on it) to the corresponding rune. All of the modifications he makes to his puppets are done through blood magic. He can even see through the eyes of his puppets, if attached. The most extreme spell he knows is how to extend his life by sacrificing others.
Skills: Eric is rather charismatic and charming, able to talk his way out of many tight situations. If that doesn't work, he can always fall back on his magic. He doesn't believe in IQ tests, but is a certifiable genius. He catches onto new subjects quickly and is a master strategist.
Weaknesses/Limitations: Any time he uses blood magic, he draws from his own life-force (unless he can extract fresh blood from a victim to use). This usually isn't much of a problem, but it does keep him on his toes. Especially since it takes more magic to maintain eternal youth as opposed to eternal life. His threads can be cut if he isn't paying attention and he cannot attach them to anything he cannot see. They also do not have infinite range. Controlling an unwilling victim is much more difficult and takes more energy. Eric does not have virtually any physical skills, always relying on his puppets to do the heavy lifting for him. Literally.
Bio: Eric was born in 1963 as the only child of a pair of cult leaders. His parents both knew about and used their magic, but they could never quite master it. Still, they ran a cult based on the teachings of the Xanadach Jukag, an ancient book on blood magic passed through his family. It was written in a foreign language they could never identify. His parents worked primarily from the section that came with a translation and made up the rest. They called it the Blood Bible, which actually wasn't a bad translation.

Eric became infatuated with the Xanadach Jukag and worked tirelessly to translate it into English. He never told his parents of any progress he made, but successfully translated the entire book by the time he was 20. After reading it, he became disgusted with the mockery of a cult his parents had formed around the Xanadach. After studdying more rituals, he prepared a grand finale to the cult and it's members. His parents gathered each member, and Eric made them kill one another. It was the first time he took the life of another, but it wouldn't be his last. It was also here that he successfully extended his own life. From there he worked along, stalking his prey based on their physical capabilities and finally slaughtering them. As he continued to improve upon his puppets, they became almost mythical. Mysterious cloaked figures snatching people off the streets and disappearing without a trace.

Eric tried not to stay in one place for too long, but could never stray too far from his lair. This would eventually lead to his undoing. He became infatuated with a hero and desperately wanted to add them to his collection. During a desperate attempt to kill this hero, he missed all of the warning signs and fell into a trap he could not escape from. He was given three life sentences to spend in Nightgate. That was 13 years ago.
Other: He is a decedent of Jack the Ripper, who Eric idolizes but also criticizes for thinking so small and giving up. His bracelets utilize some form of magic to suppress his own.

Powers: Shadow manipulation/light manipulation
Skills: Logan has the ability to control and generate shadows and light. Her main skill is being able to manipulate the shadow and light to create almost solid creatures. All she has to do is visualise the form she wishes the shadows to take and use her own life energy to make them solid and almost life-like. She likes to use them to do her dirty work for her, usually combat.
She also has the ability to turn herself into a shadow, Nyx's original form. Her entire form becomes nothing but a silhouette with glowing white eyes and a few white markings. Whilst in this form, she is able to fade into shadows, becoming almost invisible, pass through solid objects and change her form as she pleases. Almost like smoke.
Besides that, she can manipulate the light to create 'tricks of the eye' and keep small objects hidden by manipulating the light to bend around them.
She is also incredibly manipulative.
Weaknesses/Limitations: Due to her body being mortal, any use of her abilities drains the bodies essence and therefore can only be used in small quantities. Change of form is actually very dangerous as the body is not made for that much energy and change. It can therefore only be used if absolute necessary and if the body is at top form. If her abilities are used in excess, she becomes extremely ill, in extreme cases to the point of being bed bound. Her own mortal body is her greatest weakness. She also has an aversion to harming children.
Bio: Logan spent her life being the golden child. Her childhood was fairly normal, her mother dying at a young age, but that being the only real trauma. Struggling to fit in, Logan would do whatever she could to make friends and keep them happy, often resulting in her being used. She was naive and innocent. Happy and kind. She did as she was told when she was told, even when she became an adult. She let people walk all over her. Which is why, when her 'best friend' decided she wanted to check out the newly discovered grave that had historians, scientists and archeologists going nuts a few towns over, Logan followed like an obedient puppy. She never planned on breaking into the site behind her best friend, or breaking a small, golden box ordained with extremely expensive jewels. She definitely did not plan on being possessed by the ancient soul that inhabited it.
Logan didn't notice at first. They got away from the site without being caught and her best friend even took the box with her, how they managed it, Logan had no clue. But all the same, they managed it, and aside from the constant headache that appeared after she broke the box, things continued on as they usually would.
It was a week later when she found an entire outfit in her wardrobe she definitely did not remember buying. A few days after that it was the ring she was suddenly wearing and the day after a very expensive looking necklace. More and more items appeared, break ins were reported on the news, vandalism, petty things. Logan was convinced she was going insane. That was when Nyx made herself known. Instead of blacking out, Logan was completely aware as Nyx took control and shared her mind. Weirdly, she wasn't scared, she had no ill feelings towards the soul. In fact, she was excited. For once she felt free. Nyx became her new best friend. All they needed was each other.
Approximately a year after Nyx inhabited Logan, the change was obvious. No longer was she the naive, innocent little girl. Logan had completely transformed. It was then that Nyx made an offer Logan couldn't deny. They could become one, merge together. No longer two entities but one. It would made Nyx stronger and Logan would no longer be inhibited by morals etc. Logan didn't hesitate before agreeing. She loved the power that came from Nyx and she wanted more. And so they performed a ritual. One that made host and entity one, part Logan and part Nyx to create Dusk.
She disappeared that night. Away from her family home and her life she had slowly abandoned anyway. A murder spree ensued. An empire created. Enemies made, namely the 'heroes' and government.
Other: Nyx is a form of Goddess and in her true form is very powerful. However, in a mortal body she only has a fraction of her true power

Name: Moses Christopher Santana
Alias: Rodent
Age: 23

Appearance:
Moses is stands at 5'10" His bone and muscle responsible for the most part of his weight, weighing a lanky 172lbs. He has the body of someone who endures in daily exercise, he's muscled but not ripped either. Moses' skin is a very light brown, a lightskin black man. Smooth, and silky, he's not a single zit or pimple on his face in spite of the harsh tenures at the prison. Some would call his face idyllic, consisting of a pointed nose, edged jawline, and perfect teeth to say the least. The only flaw most people call out is a slight knack in his jaw, a byproduct of the multiple punches to the face he's received in his life in general, the knack is permanent, and often goes unnoticed if not for closer examination, so much for being perfect. He has very curly hair with natural caramel highlights as well as a growing mustache.

Asides from the natural gifts he's received, Moses has a hole in each ear, empty though since the earrings he had on had been confiscated. He also has a series of tattoos going from his torso, back, and down his right arm. When using his powers, Moses' eyes glow a bright bronze, piercing into the eyes of whoever dare look into them. The hair on his beard also grows with him unaware, into a bush, making him resemble a werewolf in some ways, especially due to the spikes in the hair. When his powers are dormant, his hair retreats and his eyes faded back to an olive green.

Powers: Porcupine Physiology - Moses is able to mimic the attributes of a porcupine while retaining the base of his homo-sapien attributes. (In the lame mans words, he can do what porcupines can)

  • Quill Projection: Moses is able to generate quills from his body like that of a porcupine, though proportionate to his size, the quills are a lot thicker and stronger than that of actual porcupines. The length of each quill is up to Moses, as well as the density, though the bigger it is, the more it hurts to retract it. The quills can retract from any part of Moses' body except for his eyes and geni****s. The quills can also be fired off at a target, used as tools, etc. The quills are also bone, (without nerves connected to them so he doesn't feel any damage they take), but his overall health can also affect the power of the quills and to what extent he uses them as well as enlarges them.
  • Claw Retraction: Asides from the quills, Moses also has bones in between each knuckle, slightly curved, edged and sharp and about 15cm long in full length. He can't manipulate the claws like he does the quills, the claws can also be broken like actual bone. Unlike the other bones in his body, the claws are actually very durable and strong, and can cut through metal and a series of other materials, though nothing close to diamonds. In height, each claw is about only 3cm long.
  • Contaminant/Disease Immunity: Moses immune to some, known poisons, toxins, venoms, viruses, bacteria, allergen, etc. as a cause of his heightened immune system, mimicking that of a porcupine. He is almost completely immune to every form of disease brought on by bacteria, viruses, or even parasites. Immunity grants him the ability to eat very rotten food, immunity to STDs gives him the ability to have unprotected sexual interaction with anyone without harm, cannot be transformed via virus-based effects and is immune to biological weapons.Moses' DNA could be used to create cures for even the worst diseases.
  • Enhanced Agility: Moses can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort. Agility is "the ability to rapidly respond or change by adapting its initial stable configuration", the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes, strength and endurance.
  • Enhanced Senses: Moses has extremely accurate senses allowing him to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than average.
  • Environmental Adaption: Moses is able to survive and adapt to any environment and/or condition, being able to tolerate wide range of temperatures and levels of moisture, any amount/quality of sustenance, breathable medium, etc. with little or no discomfort. From low/high air pressure, low/high temperatures, nighttime, go without food or water for a long period of time etc.
  • Enhanced Bite: Moses has particularly strong bite, as well as sharp teeth and strong jaw-muscles. He can bite through the thickest foods with ease, and if needed, materials and objects.
  • Limited-Healing: Due to having to constantly project and retract quills, his body has formed a coping mechanism that heals him at a speedier rate when it can sense his bone leaving/returning his skin. This does not work when he's injured, solely when his bone-quills are in use.
Weaknesses/Limitations:

  • Rodent Instinct: In spite of his overwhelming confidence, a side track of his powers are his rodent instinct which is to flee at any sign of danger. At any time he were to have any emotional, physical, or mental distress, Moses' powers are constantly persuading him to flee.
  • Scavenger: As a part of being a porcupine, at a sign of any garbage, free food, etc. his tongue waters immediately, distracting him from anything on hand.

Bio:
Moses was born to Latoya Reid and Lloyd Santanna in Havana, Cuba. Latoya was a 17 year old stripper when Lloyd Santanna, a 21 year-old Baltimore drug lord stepped into the club. Latoya was only working that job to pay for her poverty-stricken family, though Lloyd had already acquired a 77 million dollar networth as a "business man" in bitcoin. Once he'd set his eyes on Latoya, he had to have her to himself, and so seduced the naive teen into sleeping with him. Lloyd left the trip to cuba shortly after, and it was months later, after Latoya had finally got over hating herself for allowing that man to do that to her, that she realized she was holding his baby. Latoya found a way to locate Lloyd, and wouldn't budge until he gave her child support, but instead, he brought her to his home in Baltimore, to take care of the pregnant mother. Lloyd had never reciprocated true feelings towards Latoya, but at the request of giving birth to her child in her home town, he sent Latoya back to Cuba once more. To greet goodbyes to her family, and move back to Baltimore officially. Lloyd has stated over and over again, "The only reason I ain't popped her skull with my draco is cuh ion want my prince doin' this shit too. Without a ma, he ain't gon' grow right. I'm uncultured can't end up like me."

Moses grew up lavishly, most everything was free to him. He grew up oblivious to his father's actual job, not until about the age of 12 where he'd stumbled upon his father's drug dealings on the way home from doing a project at a friend's house. Moses remembers vividly the memory, it was ten at night, the Baltimore streets were soaked with rain, or blood, who knew, no one really knew around there. The 100 gang ran the town, but it wasn't like anyone knew who they were. They wore masks. They were sneaky. They were strong. They were feared. Moses had heard a short yelp for help as he passed Mama Cookie's bakery, turning to the alley where he'd heard the noise. He wasn't expecting what he saw. Two men stood about a man in the middle, wearing black leather jackets and trousers, bandanas rapped around their faces, durags, and guns. Lots of 'em. The man between them, was shorter, wore a white tuxedo, with only one gun in his own hand. They were circled around someone. Moses ran up behind the dumpster, he could see '100' spray painted onto the back of their leather jackets but was only running on thrill right now. There was a man kneeling down, and a sack of grass..? No, gangs didn't fight over grass, they fought over... drugs. He could see white powder in a bag similar to the one the "grass" was in. A man crying, "I have a family, a kid, a boy actually. He's turning seven. Don't let me miss out on that, don't let my wife go through that. I promise, I'll have the money by--" That was it, his last words. Followed by a loud bang. Moses hadn't even noticed the man in white's hand raise up, but now could only see smoke rise from the barrel. He was dead. As the mean came back, Moses rolled back, the man without the bandana, or jacket... he could see his face clearly now. It was his father.

He was scarred that day, but had never brought up the topic. His grades had declined, all he could think of was, "Who is my father?" He couldn't believe a thing. It wasn't until he'd aged sixteen, years after the incident, but not after he'd stopped stalking his dead. Moses had been to every other dealing, he'd even made contacts in the gang just to know what his father was up to. But at sixteen, he'd man up. He'd bought himself a gun on the black market, an old AK with a non-functionning silencer. He approached his dad after another dealing, but instead of scolding his son or berating him for being there, Lloyd only smiled. "You want to join me, boy?"
"Hell nah, I ain't 'bout this, dad. You're gon' get caught."
"I don't get caught."
"Well I caught you, I'm sixteen."
"Do you want in or not, kid."
"I.. I.. want in."
"Your induction is in two weeks. Get ready for hell."

By the two weeks, every member of the 100 had met up for the induction. It began with them all lining up in two even lines, and batting down bats against him. As hard as they could. For hours, he was forced back and forth through the lines. After hours of enduring the pain, his superhuman ability finally surfaced, caused by his use of a popular drug he'd hoped would cure his anxiety as he prepped to join the gang. Instead, the drug had affected his cells to the point where it'd augmented them into superhuman-levels, a feat unexplained til this day. He frenzied as quills sprouted from all over his body, and had even taken the lives of two gangmen that day. His dad was impressed, having a monster on their side was always an advantage. He was still injured though, and rested for a week before dealing began. He'd surpassed those far more experienced than him in months, soon becoming co-leader of the 100 gang as his father aged. It was on a fake drug run led by the government that Moses had finally been arrested. He'd aged 21, and is now 23. It's been two years.
Other:
Moses' variation of bracelet sends electric waves through injections in the bracelet (on the inside of it, so when he first wore them they pierced his skin) to his brain, that affect the area of which he manipulates his bones and his body to allow him use of his powers. If he attempts to use his power, it automatically goes to vain, and just for fun, they'd added an electric shock if the bracelet sensed any attempt at using his powers.​

Appearance: Standing at five feet and three inches even, and weighing in at 125 pounds, Alanna looks rather fragile. Porcelain skin, bright blue eyes, and long dark hair, she's not exactly the most intimidating of criminals. But her appearance isn't what should put you off. When using her power, her eyes take on a reddish hue, and the veins in her hands and forearms faintly glow red. Oh, one more thing. She has a tattoo on the small of her back, a Wolf's paw; a simple tattoo with a lot of meaning

Powers: Manipulation of Blood; A power with many terrifying applications.
  • Manipulation; Alanna can move blood, her own or others, pretty much however she wants to. It's like water bending, but evil water bending. Alanna normallybsues her own blood because she's always able to get to it.
  • Manipulation of Properties; Simliar to normal manipulation as she can still move the blood, but she can harden it and boil the blood inside the body (Strict NPC use only unless permission is granted.)
  • Neurocognitive Deficit; This is something that gave her a reputation. Alanna figured out how to reverse the flow of another persons blood to cause unconsciousness. Mostly used as a form of torture or a way to take out a target for a short time. Once she stops actively concentrating on her target, normal blood flow returns after a few minutes, and consciousness returns after about 30 minutes. Of course, she can always stop before you pass out. (Strictly for NPC us unless I'm given permisson)
  • Limited Healing; Small cuts, other very minor injuries, and sometimes colds are healed rather quickly if Alanna focuses to temporarily increase blood clotting on the injured areas or increasing white blood cell count.
Skills: Alanna is a woman of varying talents. She's a tactian with above average intelligence, a good shot, decent at throwing a good punch. Alanna isn't easily Intimidated, and when she wants to be she can be the intimidating one. Alanna's power also has a large variety of applications, manipulating and hardening are the most commonly seen, but if course, as you may have guess, that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Weaknesses/Limitations:
  • Anemia - After using her power, if she used her own blood, Alanna suffers from some pretty bad anemia. It takes her out a commission for a few hours or longer. 48 hours is the longest she's been knocked out if commission.
  • Chronic Migraines - Alanna suffers from migraines more than 15 days out if the month, which while she can handle it, she isn't allowed pain killers. If they're really bad, it causes light and sound sensitivity, and some times even nausea or worse.
  • NPC Only - So, since Alanna can control blood, inside and outside the body (I'm adding a list of some of the stuff she can do tomorrow along with everything else) I only use her powers in NPCs. Other character I'll ask permission first because of in the inside control. (She's basically a blood bender from Avatar)

Bio: Born in Wesmomt, California to an underage prostitute and some guy who was always late on child support. It was hard growing up, especially around there. So, she was raised by her grandparents because her mom ran off when she was about two, leaving her in a way, orphaned. Her grandparents weren't the best, but they tries to keep her on the straight and narrow, but there's only so much you can do for five years. When Alanna was seven, her grand parents were murdered, leaving her alone. So, Alanna was put into foster care.

Those years were hard on her. She was one of the only girls there, and so she was harassed constantly. After one instance with the man who was in charge of the kids, she snapped. Her eyes went blood red, the beings in her hands started glowing, his blood started to boil right there infront of her eyes. She was so shocked that she stopped whatever it was she was doing. Of course, it was to late, and the man was permantly messed up. Pick ups, drop offs, and other stuff like that. Her powers came in handy too, allowing her to quickly move up the ranks just over two years to when she she was 17, her father started showing signs that he was getting to old for the life style. And since she was his daughter, she's the one who took over.

Alanna, despite the protest of her father's men, the Wolves have become one of the biggest threats in Cali. She's been a cold hearted and ruthless leader with a reputation for it. She's not a woman to be reckoned with, and isn't known for mercy. Of course, for a while she was untouchable, until about 6 months ago when she was arrested. For some reason the Wolves have seemingly stopped most of their operations. Of course, there is still some activity, but they just aren't being caught. Who knows what's going on.
Other: Her bracelet, when sensing that she is using her powers for anything bigger than healing small cuts, it triggers a massive migraine that causes light and sound sensitivity, and extreme nausea.

Bio: Michael's parents were geneticists who worked with some nanotechnology and tested it on their him as a kid. They did this for the sake of testing their product. They didn't think he would be in danger because of the testing. Michael's parents were killed for their research. The scientists who were working for the government took Michael in and tested on him even more. They found out he had unique abilities that could be extremely dangerous but it was too late. Michael had discovered his powers and blew up the entire lab along with the scientist for revenge on all the testing and next was the government. Michael got arrested, trying to kill the people who killed his parents and was put inside Nightgate.

Skills:
Intellectually Gifted - William has a talent for academical and logical knowledge, apparently able to think his way through many situations. It is this trait that has labelled him as "wise for his age" by many, despite his less than practical life choices.

Charming - Every gentleman has to be. He has a certain kindness and comfortable-ness about him that makes him so approachable. I mean, what harm could a skinny blind kid do anyway?

Enhanced Senses - Due to his technical blindness, William's other senses have now developed into something superior to that of a human's. His hearing, taste, touch and smell are all far more advanced and could even be put on par with that of some animals.

Weaknesses/Limitations:
Sightless - William is extremely photosensitive to light, to the point where daylight causes him immense pain and shining lights at him would cause him to have a seizure. As such, he keeps his eyes closed and wears a blindfold/shades all the time. He can, for brief moments at a time, barely see in very low light. To substitute his sight, William "sees" by "feeling" around with his Telekinesis.

Range - William's Telekinesis only extends up to a 20ft radius from his body. This effectively means he cannot "see" past 20ft in any direction.

Slender Frame - William does not work out and is not naturally physically fit. His near-skinny frame does not handle well with taking heavy punishment and he can't lift to save his life, much a less run anywhere for long.

Bio:
William was born in the English countryside to a prestigious family of nobles. His upbringing was fairly standard in the higher class of life he had been introduced into, consisting mainly of classes, studying and the exploration of endless "hobbies". Of course, whilst William did not outright hate his life, he did find it somewhat dull. He longed for adventure, excitement, the threat of real danger. William travelled unaccompanied by his butlers and servants to the city of London to experience a different style of living.

What he found was startling. Crime, hate, savagery; it was a dog eat dog world where the strong survived and the weak struggled. William was disgusted. His studies had enlightened him to much, but this corrupt society of dysfunctionality was shocking. And it was not long before it took a chunk of William into the recesses of the abyss it held. An interaction with powerful psychedelic drugs left William hospitalised. Of course, that had only been half the story told.

During his experience, something deep within the unused synapses of William's brain was released, the neurological pathways firing with newfound and terrifying purpose. What had failed to be mentioned in his official hospital report was the inexplicable destruction caused to the building he had been in at the time. It was as if an explosion had been let off in the room he had been in, causing extensive structural damage to the entire front section, causing its collapse. A few residents suffered injuries, there were some deaths, but it seemed as though the majority were just shaken. Their witness reports shed even less light; claims of an earthquake and shaking, vibrations in the air and- well, the more hysterical claimed miscellaneous house objects to fly about the room magically, but those claims have been discredited due to psychological trauma.

William's family were not pleased. They had powerful connections, but not even all the money or notoriety in the world could apparently protect their eldest son from the "proposition" they were offered. A "protection" program in which William's incarceration was to safeguard William from himself, a place where he could live with others like him. William was not informed of his new lifestyle change and he was taken from the city hospital immediately. Taken all the way from home to Nightgate, land of the super-convicts. As one can imagine, William's distaste for modern society did not take this fact too kindly.

Other:
He has had three seizures since his incarceration at Nightgate, all due to failed attempts at escape.

His bracelets detect when he is using his powers. A signal is sent from the bracelets to a specially made headset (looks like high-tech glasses) which then shines lights into his eyes, in tandem with the bracelets also administering an electric shock. The result is always an immediate seizure or unconsciousness.

Bio: As a kid, Michael was very stubborn. His childhood was pretty normal, growing up with both parents. Michael had a lot of friends, he knew almost everybody around town. He was comedic and impulsive. Michael was also popular with the ladies. Due to his stunning looks, Michael was often called "hot" One day, his parents were killed in a car crash. This was a pretty big trauma for Michael. And one day at school he was on the highest floor in class. He was minding his own business and some kids came over and acted "nice" and tried to comfort him about his parents. So Michael gave in and told them about it. When the kids got the info, they started to insult Michael's parents and make him feel worse about their deaths. Michael could not contain the rage that was boiling up inside of him. He gave them a look as if he was going to murder them. The heat in Michael's body rose drastically. Michael was about to yell but before anything came out, part of the school exploded (due to his powers). Michael felt extreme pain in his right arm. The school began to collapse and Michael closed his eyes in fear that he was gonna die. But then, Michael noticed it has been some time and he should be dead by now so he opened his eyes and he saw his fellow classmates falling to there deaths as he looked down and the floor beneath him was gone. He realized he was flying. He couldn't believe it and he looked at where the pain was coming from on his arm and he had lost part of his arm but it was growing back at an alarming rate. Michael blacked out. Michael and a few others were the only survivors. Thousands dead. Michael had done bad deeds over the years such as: Blowing up a restaurant for unfair service, blowing up a grocery store for their pricing, And blowing up Pantex Plant just to see the results.

  • Make sure your powers follow a form of logic. Why would a shapeshifter also be able to control fire?
  • If your character has powers, make their origin make sense as well. Random accident, space radiation, born an alien, magic, whatever. Just don't randomly have powers just because. (This doesn't mean your character has to know where they come from, but you do.)
Those two rules can be found at the top of the page and need to be addressed. Going in reverse order, why does he have powers? He doesn't just have powers for no reason other than to make him fit into the RP. I'll be more than happy to help you brainstorm ideas if you need. Next, how do his powers relate? His primary power is clearly explosion manipulation, but where do the others fit into the picture? Regeneration I can see as a necessary part of this power just in terms of surviving their use, so I'll be lenient on that front. But why flight? I just doesn't fit. If you can legitimize it when working on the origin of his powers then great, but for now I can't accept it. The last thing I want to address is the limits of his powers. An explosion can be as weak as the explosion that propels bullets out of a gun to theoretically more than the Tsar Bomba, the most powerful nuke ever tested. Lastly, the wording "Ultimate Regeneration" makes me uneasy. One of Marvel's most popular characters has Ultimate Regeneration (Wolverine). If you're thinking of having Michael regenerate anywhere near that fast, then please reconsider. Okay, so I just noticed this making this the last issue: add a last name. There is no reason for him to not have one, so please just add it in.

Moses is a very tall individual, standing at 6'1". His bone and muscle responsible for the most part of his weight, weighing a lanky 172lbs. He has the body of someone who endures in rigorous daily exorcise, he's muscled but not ripped either. Moses' skin is a very light brown, a lightskin black man. Smooth, and silky, he's not a single zit or pimple on his face in spite of the harsh tenures at the prison. Some would call his idyllic face perfect, consisting of a pointed nose, edged jawline, and perfect teeth to say the least. The only flaw most people call out is a slight knack in his jaw, a byproduct of the multiple punches to the face he's received in his life in general, the knack is permanent, and often goes unnoticed if not for closer examination. Moses' hair has gone through plenty of phases, and due to the use of permanent white dye, his hair remains white til' this day, though the colour slowly faded. Hair is trickled across his jaw as well, bushing by the chin but fading outwards, as well as a mustache. Asides from the natural gifts he's received, Moses has a hole in each ear, empty though since the earrings he had on had been confiscated. He also has a series of tattoos going from his neck, to his torso, back, and down both arms. When using his powers, Moses' eyes glow a bright bronze, piercing into the eyes of whoever dare look into them. The hair on his beard also grows with him unaware, into a bush, making him resemble a werewolf in some ways, especially due to the spikes in the hair. When his powers are dormant, his hair retreats and his eyes faded back to an olive green.​

Powers: Porcupine Physiology - Moses is able to mimic the attributes of a porcupine while retaining the base of his homo-sapien attributes. (In the lame mans words, he can do what porcupines can)

  • Quill Projection: Moses is able to generate quills from his body like that of a porcupine, though proportionate to his size, the quills are a lot thicker and stronger than that of actual porcupines. The length of each quill is up to Moses, as well as the density, though the bigger it is, the more it hurts to retract it. The quills can retract from any part of Moses' body except for his eyes and geni****s. The quills can also be fired off at a target, used as tools, etc. The quills are also bone, (without nerves connected to them so he doesn't feel any damage they take), but his overall health can also affect the power of the quills and to what extent he uses them as well as enlarges them.
  • Claw Retraction: Asides from the quills, Moses also has bones in between each knuckle, slightly curved, edged and sharp and about 15cm long in full length. He can't manipulate the claws like he does the quills, the claws can also be broken like actual bone. Unlike the other bones in his body, the claws are actually very durable and strong, and can cut through metal and a series of other materials, though nothing close to diamonds. In height, each claw is about only 3cm long.
  • Contaminant/Disease Immunity: Moses immune to some, if not all, known poisons, toxins, venoms, viruses, bacteria, allergen, etc. as a cause of his heightened immune system, mimicking that of a porcupine. He is completely immune to every form of disease brought on by bacteria, viruses, or even parasites. Immunity grants him the ability to eat very rotten food, immunity to STDs gives him the ability to have unprotected sexual interaction with anyone without harm, cannot be transformed via virus-based effects and is immune to biological weapons.Moses' DNA could be used to create cures for even the worst diseases.
  • Enhanced Agility: Moses can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort. Agility is "the ability to rapidly respond or change by adapting its initial stable configuration", the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes, strength and endurance.
  • Enhanced Senses: Moses has extremely accurate senses allowing him to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than average.
  • Environmental Adaption: Moses is able to survive and adapt to any environment and/or condition, being able to tolerate wide range of temperatures and levels of moisture, any amount/quality of sustenance, breathable medium, etc. with little or no discomfort. From low/high air pressure, low/high temperatures, nighttime, go without food or water for a long period of time etc.
  • Enhanced Bite: Moses has particularly strong bite, as well as sharp teeth and strong jaw-muscles. He can bite through the thickest foods with ease, and if needed, materials and objects.
  • Limited-Healing: Due to having to constantly project and retract quills, his body has formed a coping mechanism that heals him at a speedier rate when it can sense his bone leaving/returning his skin. This does not work when he's injured, solely when his bone-quills are in use.

Weaknesses/Limitations:

  • Rodent Instinct: In spite of his overwhelming confidence, a side track of his powers are his rodent instinct which is to flee at any sign of danger. At any time he were to have any emotional, physical, or mental distress, Moses' powers are constantly persuading him to flee.
  • Scavenger: As a part of being a porcupine, at a sign of any garbage, free food, etc. his tongue waters immediately, distracting him from anything on hand.

Once he'd set his eyes on Latoya, he had to have her to himself, and so seduced the naive teen into sleeping with him. Lloyd left the trip to cuba shortly after, and it was months later, after Latoya had finally got over hating herself for allowing that man to do that to her, that she realized she was holding his baby. Latoya found a way to locate Lloyd, and wouldn't budge until he gave her child support, but instead, he brought her to his home in Baltimore, to take care of the pregnant mother. Lloyd had never reciprocated true feelings towards Latoya, but at the request of giving birth to her child in her home town, he sent Latoya back to Cuba once more. To greet goodbyes to her family, and move back to Baltimore officially. Lloyd has stated over and over again, "The only reason I ain't popped her skull with my draco is cuh ion want my prince doin' this shit too. Without a ma, he ain't gon' grow right. I'm uncultured can't end up like me."

The 100 gang ran the town, but it wasn't like anyone knew who they were. They wore masks. They were sneaky. They were strong. They were feared. Moses had heard a short yelp for help as he passed Mama Cookie's bakery, turning to the alley where he'd heard the noise. He wasn't expecting what he saw. Two men stood about a man in the middle, wearing black leather jackets and trousers, bandanas rapped around their faces, durags, and guns. Lots of 'em. The man between them, was shorter, wore a white tuxedo, with only one gun in his own hand. They were circled around someone. Moses ran up behind the dumpster, he could see '100' spray painted onto the back of their leather jackets but was only running on thrill right now. There was a man kneeling down, and a sack of grass..? No, gangs didn't fight over grass, they fought over... drugs. He could see white powder in a bag similar to the one the "grass" was in. A man crying, "I have a family, a kid, a boy actually. He's turning seven. Don't let me miss out on that, don't let my wife go through that. I promise, I'll have the money by--" That was it, his last words. Followed by a loud bang. Moses hadn't even noticed the man in white's hand raise up, but now could only see smoke rise from the barrel. He was dead. As the mean came back, Moses rolled back, the man without the bandana, or jacket... he could see his face clearly now. It was his father.​


He was scarred that day, but had never brought up the topic. His grades had declined, all he could think of was, "Who is my father?" He couldn't believe a thing. It wasn't until he'd aged sixteen, years after the incident, but not after he'd stopped stalking his dead. Moses had been to every other dealing, he'd even made contacts in the gang just to know what his father was up to. But at sixteen, he'd man up. He'd bought himself a gun on the black market, an old AK with a non-functionning silencer. He approached his dad after another dealing, but instead of scolding his son or berating him for being there, Lloyd only smiled. "You want to join me, boy?"​

By the two weeks, every member of the 100 had met up for the induction. It began with them all lining up in two even lines, and batting down bats against him. As hard as they could. For hours, he was forced back and forth through the lines. After hours of enduring the pain, his superhuman ability finally surfaced. He frenzied as quills sprouted from all over his body, and had even taken the lives of two gangmen that day. His dad was impressed, having a monster on their side was always an advantage. He was still injured though, and rested for a week before dealing began. He'd surpassed those far more experienced than him in months, soon becoming co-leader of the 100 gang as his father aged. It was on a fake drug run led by the government that Moses had finally been arrested. He'd aged 21, and is now 23. It's been two years.​

Other:

Moses' variation of bracelet sends electric waves through injections in the bracelet (on the inside of it, so when he first wore them they pierced his skin) to his brain, that affect the area of which he manipulates his bones and his body to allow him use of his powers. If he attempts to use his power, it automatically goes to vain, and just for fun, they'd added an electric shock if the bracelet sensed any attempt at using his powers.​
I love all of the detail, but people don't just randomly have powers (as stated in the first post). There is no X-gene or meta-gene that will activate and give random people powers. Unfortunatly, this is one of the few times I cannot think of any suggestions on how to fix this, due to your bio being so air-tight. I am still more than happy to help come up with an origin to his powers, but as is I am drawing a blank. The only other thing that really popped out to me was his immunity to, well, everything. I'd have to be stupidly strict to be overly concerned about this, but tone it down at least on the toxin front. Nothing is immune to every toxin, and while I have no problem if he is resistant, anything is a toxin in high enough doses regardless of what it's being administered to.

Appearance: Standing at five feet and three inches even, and weighing in at 125 pounds, Alanna looks rather fragile. Porcelain skin, bright blue eyes, and long dark hair, she's not exactly the most intimidating of criminals. But her appearance isn't what should put you off. When using her power, her eyes take on a reddish hue, and the veins in her hands and forearms faintly glow red. Oh, one more thing. She has a tattoo on the small of her back, a Wolf's paw; a simple tattoo with a lot of meaning
Powers: Manipulation of Blood; A power with many terrifying applications.
  • Manipulation; Alanna can move blood, her own or others, pretty much however she wants to. It's like water bending, but evil water bending. Alanna normallybsues her own blood because she's always able to get to it.
  • Manipulation of Properties; Simliar to normal manipulation as she can still move the blood, but she can harden it and boil the blood inside the body (Strict NPC use only unless permission is granted.)
  • Neurocognitive Deficit; This is something that gave her a reputation. Alanna figured out how to reverse the flow of another persons blood to cause unconsciousness. Mostly used as a form of torture or a way to take out a target for a short time. Once she stops actively concentrating on her target, normal blood flow returns after a few minutes, and consciousness returns after about 30 minutes. Of course, she can always stop before you pass out. (Strictly for NPC us unless I'm given permisson)
  • Limited Healing; Small cuts, other very minor injuries, and sometimes colds are healed rather quickly if Alanna focuses to temporarily increase blood clotting on the injured areas or increasing white blood cell count.
Skills: Alanna is a woman of varying talents. She's a tactian with above average intelligence, a good shot, decent at throwing a good punch. Alanna isn't easily Intimidated, and when she wants to be she can be the intimidating one. Alanna's power also has a large variety of applications, manipulating and hardening are the most commonly seen, but if course, as you may have guess, that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Weaknesses/Limitations:
  • Anemia - After using her power, if she used her own blood, Alanna suffers from some pretty bad anemia. It takes her out a commission for a few hours or longer. 48 hours is the longest she's been knocked out if commission.
  • Chronic Migraines - Alanna suffers from migraines more than 15 days out if the month, which while she can handle it, she isn't allowed pain killers. If they're really bad, it causes light and sound sensitivity, and some times even nausea or worse.
  • NPC Only - So, since Alanna can control blood, inside and outside the body (I'm adding a list of some of the stuff she can do tomorrow along with everything else) I only use her powers in NPCs. Other character I'll ask permission first because of in the inside control. (She's basically a blood bender from Avatar)

Speaking with delicate French octaves inherited from his mother, he has a deep baritone voice. Balthazar has now grown to be 6'0" (1.82 m) in height, weighing 81 kg (178 lbs), giving him an intimidating appearance. His skin no longer holds the sickly pallor to it, instead it is light and healthy-looking. As he aged, Balthazar has gained a beard and mustache which he keeps neatly trimmed and groomed, both retaining the light brown coloration of his hair. His glacial-light blue eyes are cold and seem hollow, as if no warmth can pass through. His gaze has been described as looking into the abyss and haunting like his mother's own gaze. His teeth and nails remain slightly elongated though they are also sharper than a human's. One noticeable thing about his teeth is they are strong enough to tear through skin and bone easily, in addition to this he has a pair of viper fangs where his upper canine teeth would normally be, the fangs long enough to press into his bottom lip. He has the number 1454 carved into his right ankle by a silver knife, he gained the scar when he was born. Aside from the permanent scar that stands out stark white against his skin, he also holds a tattoo of a half sun/half moon between his shoulder blades. A heart with a dagger through it tattoo adorns his right arm while the left side of his face and neck has tribal tattoos and a dragon coils around his lower left arm. (human appearance)
Balthazar's wolf form resembles that of a timber x arctic wolf. Carrying the shorter muzzle and ears of an arctic wolf, his coat is a light charcoal with a white path of fur on his chest. On his four paws are ivory white claws and ivory-white teeth adorn his mouth. He grows in height to be about 5.6-feet in height while retaining the regular 6-foot from nose to tail in length and becomes heavily muscular with shaggy fur. His fur takes on a rich charcoal/obsidian-hue. One optic is the color of red plasma or blood and the other is a stunning violet. (wolf)
Powers:
Clairvoyence-Balthazar has the ability to gain direct visual information through non-physical means. He can use this ability to gain a direct visual information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than his physical sight and it allows him to act when he is unable to use his eyes and allows him to hear things at distances. He can sense, see and hear spiritual/physical beings and other person's presence and perceive emotions, thoughts and memories of others. Balthazar can do this in two different techniques, by dream scyring which allows him to dream of actual far-off events and psychic navigation which allows him to form a mental map of an area or locate people/objects. To find someone or something, he creates a black/violet flame in his hand and both eyes go milky white. His eyes often possess a permanent glaze to them because of this. This power requires concentration for him to do. He cannot find anyone gifted with the ability of tracking evasion. For some reason, Balthazar cannot see or find other people with Clairvoyance/seers/psychics. He can hear things at a distance of about twenty miles before things become muffled, creating an irritable buzzing or humming noise. This power renders him unable to defend himself due to the concentration required. Balthazar was accidentally doused in radioactive material as a child, giving him this power.
Supernatural Combat-He possesses superhuman hand to hand combat and excels in forms of combative fighting such as martial arts from around the world, weapons, boxing and wrestling; including both offensive and defensive, which may be innate, honed or both. This encompasses speed, strength, precision, reflexes, technique, analysis, control, adaptation and all aspects of practical fighting. Most observers are simply incapable to understand what's happening, only a user being able to gauge the skill of another. More of an ability than a power, he gained this through being captured by the same organization his mother and he had escaped from when he was an infant and his skills sharpened. His two bloodlines also give him agility and superhuman reflexes naturally.
Skills:
Hacking-Balthazar has taught himself how to hack computers and has used it in countless things. He considers hacking a hobby.
Superhuman strength-Fusion of vampire and werewolf blood within Balthazar has given him the ability to be stronger than humans and on match with vampires and werewolves. This allows him to lift anything from cars to massive battle-ships if he desires to do so. It also allows him to push a car over with ease.
Superhuman speed-This comes as a result of his vampire blood. It allows him to be faster than humans and werewolves, easily able to keep up with horses, cars and trains.
Enhanced Senses-Being the hybrid of a vampire and werewolf, his senses of hearing and smell are about twenty-times better than a dog's while his sight is ten times better than a human's. It also allows him to see in the dark and jump real high as well as being able to climb walls and land on his feet like a cat if he falls or is pushed off something high.
Cooking: Balthazar is great at cooking, a talent he inherited from his mother by watching her make and prepare meals.
Music: Balthazar also inherited his mother's singing talent and love of the piano, something he enjoys.
Intelligence: Balthazar is quite intelligent, a result of studying hard and possibly due to his vampire blood increasing his memory capacity. He doesn't have genius-level intellect but he's smarter than most people give him credit for.
Regeneration-He is able to heal wounds easily however broken bones will take time to heal. Broken bones have to take time to recover though are generally half the time it would take for humans to heal.
Weaknesses/Limitations:
Silver-Even though Balthazar is a werewolf he isn't immune to pure silver which can burn him or keep him confined. This is evidenced by the scar 1454 etched into his ankle when he was born by humans who were planning on making supernatural creatures into weapons for the government.
Insatiable hunger-As a vaewolf, and part of what makes him so dangerous, is Balthazar's insatiable hunger for blood and raw meat. Any type of raw meat and any type of blood, so long as it isn't dead which tastes like sour milk to him and make him sick. He has been battling this hunger since he was a child.
Strength: Balthazar has to be careful when shaking peoples' hands or hugging people as he can easily break bones.
Sight: Being a natural creature of the night, Balthazar gets blinded easily by the noonday sun. This forces him to either wear sunglasses or just not go out at night. His eyes are rather sensitive to daylight so he prefers sticking to the traditional sunset to dawn routine of his vampire father.
Ultraviolet Light-Even though sunlight doesn't hurt or kill Balthazar, Ultraviolet light is a different story. This was discovered after his mother's death when the teenager was captured again by the government organization he had been born in, as a form of punishment. He still carries the scars.
Wolfsbane-Balthazar is able to be poisoned by wolfsbane. It also serves to keep him in his wolf form and combined with silver makes him extremely weak.
Semi-Immortality-Balthazar will never suffer the physical effects of old age as he will stop aging when he turns thirty-five. He is able to be killed and can contract diseases and illnesses.
Bio: Balthazar was the result of a forced mating between a vampire named Lazarus and a female werewolf named Sylvaine. His birth was an experiment in and of itself to see if the breeding of a werewolf and vampire would end up in pregnancy. It did and though Lazarus hated the child, Sylvaine loved him and did her best to protect her son. Shortly after his birth, Balthazar was taken from his mother and the number 1454 was carved into his ankle using a pure silver knife. When he turned a month old; Balthazar and his mother, along with some other supernatural experiments, were driving through a forest in Rome, Italy when the truck slid off the road after hitting a patch of black ice. His mother used that chance to break out and they were taken in by a pack of supernaturals run by an angel werwolf hybrid. There they lived until Balthazar's mother was killed when Balthazar was fifteen.

After his mother's death, Balthazar lost it and was captured himself shortly afterwards by the same government organization he'd been born into. Balthazar was then tortured for the next two years until he escaped at eighteen. He attempted to go back to his old pack at eighteen after escaping but after nearly risking the alpha's life, he was banished from the pack and given the rank of Sinner. The next three years, Balthazar spent working as a mercenary and assassin, mostly for money and a roof over his head. Six months after his twenty-second birthday, Balthazar was sold out by the person who had hired him, ending up in a trap. Defenseless, he soon found himself in jail where he has been ever since but he bides his time patiently until he can escape.
Other: As a vaewolf, he is able to turn at will into a wolf without the pain of a werewolf and his werewolf blood also allows him to walk within the sunlight without burning to a crisp. He's more dangerous than a vampire and a werewolf combined because of the fused blood within him and that's partly why vampires and werewolves want to kill him. Shog Shog
My first, and by far largest problem, is under clairvoyance. For starters, none of the 3-6 abilities listed here (depending on how generous I am) actually involve clairvoyance. Clairvoyance, by definition, is the ability to see into the future. I'm going to save some space and jump strait to the point: I think your character would be better off without most of what's listed here. The ability to scry, sense people's emotions, sense people's thoughts, see people's memories, and the rather open ended " ability to gain a direct visual information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than his physical sight and it allows him to act when he is unable to use his eyes" don't really seem to fit with the theme your character has going for him (I currently interpret that last statement as synonymous with scrying, but listed it in cases I am wrong). Beyond that, they all seem to fit into a magic base, which makes even less sense because you claim they came from being doused in radioactive junk. Next is your hearing range. I understand wanting the extended hearing range (being part werewolf and all), but that range is ridiculous. A normal human can hear 100 decibels (about the sound of a helicopter) about 0.7 miles away. This makes your hearing at least 28.6 times stronger. So fee free to be able to hear an increased range of frequencies at a further range, but at greater moderation. My next concern involves his Supernatural Combat. This looks fine for the most part, but the line "Most observers are simply incapable to understand what's happening" has me deeply concerned. The only way I can think of for observers not to understand what he's doing is for him to be moving faster than the human brain can register. Be a total bad ass in combat, but within moderation. Addressing strength next, please tone it down. Lifting and throwing cars? Go for it! Battleships? Try again. An Iowa-Class battleship has a weight limit of 45,000 tons (roughly 90,000,000 pounds or 40,823,313.3 kilograms). Cars tend to weigh around 2 tons these days (4,000 pounds or 1,814 kilograms). I have no problem with you being strong, but again (I'm hoping you're beginning to pick up a pattern here) in moderation. I suspect you know where I'm going with speed next. Trains usually cruise around 150 mph (67.056 meters per second) and that's a little fast for someone who's primary ability isn't speed. I'd probably max it off around highway speeds, but still taking into consideration stamina as well. I assume he has heightened stamina (no need to add it), bit it should still deplete faster with greater physical stress. I know this looks like a lot, but most of it comes down to moderation. I'd allow more in each section if it weren't for the others as well.
 
I love all of the detail, but people don't just randomly have powers (as stated in the first post). There is no X-gene or meta-gene that will activate and give random people powers. Unfortunatly, this is one of the few times I cannot think of any suggestions on how to fix this, due to your bio being so air-tight. I am still more than happy to help come up with an origin to his powers, but as is I am drawing a blank. The only other thing that really popped out to me was his immunity to, well, everything. I'd have to be stupidly strict to be overly concerned about this, but tone it down at least on the toxin front. Nothing is immune to every toxin, and while I have no problem if he is resistant, anything is a toxin in high enough doses regardless of what it's being administered to.

Given that this is an age of supers it is safe to assume that people have a decent susceptibility to great genetic changes, giving them powers. Still, it needs a catalyst of some kind that not many would experience that would trigger the change. He is among a great many people that would have undergone a great stress like he did, so why would they not then all have powers as well? I get what you're saying, but he needs some catalyst that would give him his powers to start with. Perhaps he got a hold of some tainted new drugs that didn't catch on when he was young and that catalyzed the reaction and the, as you said, they didn't surface until later. Just a suggestion, but even something as vague as that would be acceptable.

I think it would make more sense if it was tainted by unknown chemicals (or something along those lines), but yes, this would be acceptable.

Bio: Jamie was born to Amy and John Bloom. His parents were cartoonists and Jamie would love to watch them. This got him involved in drawing and writing. Jamie was so excited and happy.

A few years later, and everything other than his hobbies seemed so boring. Nothing was entertaining to him. He was desperate to do something in his life. When he was 16 his parents got killed in a car wreck and he lived with a foster family.

It got even worse for him. The loss of his family and his boring life made him more depressed. He went to college and college seemed to go quick. He had only a few friends and even when he did stuff that was suppossed to be fun it was boring.

He eventually got a home after college. But something or someone must have noticed his sadness. That was the reason he found himself talking to a animated demon.

The demon heard his call, and would help Jamie. Jamie would be able to create art and cartoons with his own hand. Nothing would be boring anymore. When Jamie woke up, his wish was granted.

But over time as Jamie kept on using his powers, he grew more psychotic. He loved to see his art. The world should see his art. No one would feel sadness anymore.

That backfailed. So in anger, Jamie decided to use his constructs for evil. Stealing and murdering in rage. This is what happens when they don't listen to him.

After having the nickname The Cartoon Man, Jamie landed himself in a super powered prison. That is where his story starts.

Moses is stands at 5'10" His bone and muscle responsible for the most part of his weight, weighing a lanky 172lbs. He has the body of someone who endures in daily exercise, he's muscled but not ripped either. Moses' skin is a very light brown, a lightskin black man. Smooth, and silky, he's not a single zit or pimple on his face in spite of the harsh tenures at the prison. Some would call his face idyllic, consisting of a pointed nose, edged jawline, and perfect teeth to say the least. The only flaw most people call out is a slight knack in his jaw, a byproduct of the multiple punches to the face he's received in his life in general, the knack is permanent, and often goes unnoticed if not for closer examination, so much for being perfect. He has very curly hair with natural caramel highlights as well as a growing mustache.​


Asides from the natural gifts he's received, Moses has a hole in each ear, empty though since the earrings he had on had been confiscated. He also has a series of tattoos going from his torso, back, and down his right arm. When using his powers, Moses' eyes glow a bright bronze, piercing into the eyes of whoever dare look into them. The hair on his beard also grows with him unaware, into a bush, making him resemble a werewolf in some ways, especially due to the spikes in the hair. When his powers are dormant, his hair retreats and his eyes faded back to an olive green.​

Powers: Porcupine Physiology - Moses is able to mimic the attributes of a porcupine while retaining the base of his homo-sapien attributes. (In the lame mans words, he can do what porcupines can)

  • Quill Projection: Moses is able to generate quills from his body like that of a porcupine, though proportionate to his size, the quills are a lot thicker and stronger than that of actual porcupines. The length of each quill is up to Moses, as well as the density, though the bigger it is, the more it hurts to retract it. The quills can retract from any part of Moses' body except for his eyes and geni****s. The quills can also be fired off at a target, used as tools, etc. The quills are also bone, (without nerves connected to them so he doesn't feel any damage they take), but his overall health can also affect the power of the quills and to what extent he uses them as well as enlarges them.
  • Claw Retraction: Asides from the quills, Moses also has bones in between each knuckle, slightly curved, edged and sharp and about 15cm long in full length. He can't manipulate the claws like he does the quills, the claws can also be broken like actual bone. Unlike the other bones in his body, the claws are actually very durable and strong, and can cut through metal and a series of other materials, though nothing close to diamonds. In height, each claw is about only 3cm long.
  • Contaminant/Disease Immunity: Moses immune to some, known poisons, toxins, venoms, viruses, bacteria, allergen, etc. as a cause of his heightened immune system, mimicking that of a porcupine. He is almost completely immune to every form of disease brought on by bacteria, viruses, or even parasites. Immunity grants him the ability to eat very rotten food, immunity to STDs gives him the ability to have unprotected sexual interaction with anyone without harm, cannot be transformed via virus-based effects and is immune to biological weapons.Moses' DNA could be used to create cures for even the worst diseases.
  • Enhanced Agility: Moses can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort. Agility is "the ability to rapidly respond or change by adapting its initial stable configuration", the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes, strength and endurance.
  • Enhanced Senses: Moses has extremely accurate senses allowing him to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than average.
  • Environmental Adaption: Moses is able to survive and adapt to any environment and/or condition, being able to tolerate wide range of temperatures and levels of moisture, any amount/quality of sustenance, breathable medium, etc. with little or no discomfort. From low/high air pressure, low/high temperatures, nighttime, go without food or water for a long period of time etc.
  • Enhanced Bite: Moses has particularly strong bite, as well as sharp teeth and strong jaw-muscles. He can bite through the thickest foods with ease, and if needed, materials and objects.
  • Limited-Healing: Due to having to constantly project and retract quills, his body has formed a coping mechanism that heals him at a speedier rate when it can sense his bone leaving/returning his skin. This does not work when he's injured, solely when his bone-quills are in use.

Weaknesses/Limitations:

  • Rodent Instinct: In spite of his overwhelming confidence, a side track of his powers are his rodent instinct which is to flee at any sign of danger. At any time he were to have any emotional, physical, or mental distress, Moses' powers are constantly persuading him to flee.
  • Scavenger: As a part of being a porcupine, at a sign of any garbage, free food, etc. his tongue waters immediately, distracting him from anything on hand.

Bio:

Moses was born to Latoya Reid and Lloyd Santanna in Havana, Cuba. Latoya was a 17 year old stripper when Lloyd Santanna, a 21 year-old Baltimore drug lord stepped into the club. Latoya was only working that job to pay for her poverty-stricken family, though Lloyd had already acquired a 77 million dollar networth as a "business man" in bitcoin. Once he'd set his eyes on Latoya, he had to have her to himself, and so seduced the naive teen into sleeping with him. Lloyd left the trip to cuba shortly after, and it was months later, after Latoya had finally got over hating herself for allowing that man to do that to her, that she realized she was holding his baby. Latoya found a way to locate Lloyd, and wouldn't budge until he gave her child support, but instead, he brought her to his home in Baltimore, to take care of the pregnant mother. Lloyd had never reciprocated true feelings towards Latoya, but at the request of giving birth to her child in her home town, he sent Latoya back to Cuba once more. To greet goodbyes to her family, and move back to Baltimore officially. Lloyd has stated over and over again, "The only reason I ain't popped her skull with my draco is cuh ion want my prince doin' this shit too. Without a ma, he ain't gon' grow right. I'm uncultured can't end up like me."


Moses grew up lavishly, most everything was free to him. He grew up oblivious to his father's actual job, not until about the age of 12 where he'd stumbled upon his father's drug dealings on the way home from doing a project at a friend's house. Moses remembers vividly the memory, it was ten at night, the Baltimore streets were soaked with rain, or blood, who knew, no one really knew around there. The 100 gang ran the town, but it wasn't like anyone knew who they were. They wore masks. They were sneaky. They were strong. They were feared. Moses had heard a short yelp for help as he passed Mama Cookie's bakery, turning to the alley where he'd heard the noise. He wasn't expecting what he saw. Two men stood about a man in the middle, wearing black leather jackets and trousers, bandanas rapped around their faces, durags, and guns. Lots of 'em. The man between them, was shorter, wore a white tuxedo, with only one gun in his own hand. They were circled around someone. Moses ran up behind the dumpster, he could see '100' spray painted onto the back of their leather jackets but was only running on thrill right now. There was a man kneeling down, and a sack of grass..? No, gangs didn't fight over grass, they fought over... drugs. He could see white powder in a bag similar to the one the "grass" was in. A man crying, "I have a family, a kid, a boy actually. He's turning seven. Don't let me miss out on that, don't let my wife go through that. I promise, I'll have the money by--" That was it, his last words. Followed by a loud bang. Moses hadn't even noticed the man in white's hand raise up, but now could only see smoke rise from the barrel. He was dead. As the mean came back, Moses rolled back, the man without the bandana, or jacket... he could see his face clearly now. It was his father.​


He was scarred that day, but had never brought up the topic. His grades had declined, all he could think of was, "Who is my father?" He couldn't believe a thing. It wasn't until he'd aged sixteen, years after the incident, but not after he'd stopped stalking his dead. Moses had been to every other dealing, he'd even made contacts in the gang just to know what his father was up to. But at sixteen, he'd man up. He'd bought himself a gun on the black market, an old AK with a non-functionning silencer. He approached his dad after another dealing, but instead of scolding his son or berating him for being there, Lloyd only smiled. "You want to join me, boy?"​

"Hell nah, I ain't 'bout this, dad. You're gon' get caught."​

"I don't get caught."​

"Well I caught you, I'm sixteen."​

"Do you want in or not, kid."​

"I.. I.. want in."​

"Your induction is in two weeks. Get ready for hell."​


By the two weeks, every member of the 100 had met up for the induction. It began with them all lining up in two even lines, and batting down bats against him. As hard as they could. For hours, he was forced back and forth through the lines. After hours of enduring the pain, his superhuman ability finally surfaced, caused by his use of a popular drug he'd hoped would cure his anxiety as he prepped to join the gang. Instead, the drug had affected his cells to the point where it'd augmented them into superhuman-levels, a feat unexplained til this day. He frenzied as quills sprouted from all over his body, and had even taken the lives of two gangmen that day. His dad was impressed, having a monster on their side was always an advantage. He was still injured though, and rested for a week before dealing began. He'd surpassed those far more experienced than him in months, soon becoming co-leader of the 100 gang as his father aged. It was on a fake drug run led by the government that Moses had finally been arrested. He'd aged 21, and is now 23. It's been two years.​

Other:

Moses' variation of bracelet sends electric waves through injections in the bracelet (on the inside of it, so when he first wore them they pierced his skin) to his brain, that affect the area of which he manipulates his bones and his body to allow him use of his powers. If he attempts to use his power, it automatically goes to vain, and just for fun, they'd added an electric shock if the bracelet sensed any attempt at using his powers.​

Bio: Jamie was born to Amy and John Bloom. His parents were cartoonists and Jamie would love to watch them. This got him involved in drawing and writing. Jamie was so excited and happy.

A few years later, and everything other than his hobbies seemed so boring. Nothing was entertaining to him. He was desperate to do something in his life. When he was 16 his parents got killed in a car wreck and he lived with a foster family.

It got even worse for him. The loss of his family and his boring life made him more depressed. He went to college and college seemed to go quick. He had only a few friends and even when he did stuff that was suppossed to be fun it was boring.

He eventually got a home after college. But something or someone must have noticed his sadness. That was the reason he found himself talking to a animated demon.

The demon heard his call, and would help Jamie. Jamie would be able to create art and cartoons with his own hand. Nothing would be boring anymore. When Jamie woke up, his wish was granted.

But over time as Jamie kept on using his powers, he grew more psychotic. He loved to see his art. The world should see his art. No one would feel sadness anymore.

That backfailed. So in anger, Jamie decided to use his constructs for evil. Stealing and murdering in rage. This is what happens when they don't listen to him.

After having the nickname The Cartoon Man, Jamie landed himself in a super powered prison. That is where his story starts.

Telekinesis - The ability to manipulate matter in one's immediate surroundings via a powerful invisible force.

Skills:
Intellectually Gifted - William has a talent for academical and logical knowledge, apparently able to think his way through many situations. It is this trait that has labelled him as "wise for his age" by many, despite his less than practical life choices.

Charming - Every gentleman has to be. He has a certain kindness and comfortable-ness about him that makes him so approachable. I mean, what harm could a skinny blind kid do anyway?

Enhanced Senses - Due to his technical blindness, William's other senses have now developed into something superior to that of a human's. His hearing, taste, touch and smell are all far more advanced and could even be put on par with that of some animals.

Weaknesses/Limitations:
Sightless - William is extremely photosensitive to light, to the point where daylight causes him immense pain and shining lights at him would cause him to have a seizure. As such, he keeps his eyes closed and wears a blindfold/shades all the time. He can, for brief moments at a time, barely see in very low light. To substitute his sight, William "sees" by "feeling" around with his Telekinesis.

Range - William's Telekinesis only extends up to a 20ft radius from his body. This effectively means he cannot "see" past 20ft in any direction.

Slender Frame - William does not work out and is not naturally physically fit. His near-skinny frame does not handle well with taking heavy punishment and he can't lift to save his life, much a less run anywhere for long.

His bracelets detect when he is using his powers. A signal is sent from the bracelets to a specially made headset (looks like high-tech glasses) which then shines lights into his eyes, in tandem with the bracelets also administering an electric shock. The result is always an immediate seizure or unconsciousness.

Bio:
William was born in the English countryside to a prestigious family of nobles. His upbringing was fairly standard in the higher class of life he had been introduced into, consisting mainly of classes, studying and the exploration of endless "hobbies". Of course, whilst William did not outright hate his life, he did find it somewhat dull. He longed for adventure, excitement, the threat of real danger. William travelled unaccompanied by his butlers and servants to the city of London to experience a different style of living.

What he found was startling. Crime, hate, savagery; it was a dog eat dog world where the strong survived and the weak struggled. William was disgusted. His studies had enlightened him to much, but this corrupt society of dysfunctionality was shocking. And it was not long before it took a chunk of William into the recesses of the abyss it held. An interaction with powerful psychedelic drugs left William hospitalised. Of course, that had only been half the story told.

During his experience, something deep within the unused synapses of William's brain was released, the neurological pathways firing with newfound and terrifying purpose. What had failed to be mentioned in his official hospital report was the inexplicable destruction caused to the building he had been in at the time. It was as if an explosion had been let off in the room he had been in, causing extensive structural damage to the entire front section, causing its collapse. A few residents suffered injuries, there were some deaths, but it seemed as though the majority were just shaken. Their witness reports shed even less light; claims of an earthquake and shaking, vibrations in the air and- well, the more hysterical claimed miscellaneous house objects to fly about the room magically, but those claims have been discredited due to psychological trauma.

William's family were not pleased. They had powerful connections, but not even all the money or notoriety in the world could apparently protect their eldest son from the "proposition" they were offered. A "protection" program in which William's incarceration was to safeguard William from himself, a place where he could live with others like him. William was not informed of his new lifestyle change and he was taken from the city hospital immediately. Taken all the way from home to Nightgate, land of the super-convicts. As one can imagine, William's distaste for modern society did not take this fact too kindly.
