• Welcome to the University of Tilburg, or the UoT as it is mostly called. It is a famous university, home to a lot of different students. There are Law students, Psychology students, Economy students, and a lot more. Almost every study is welcome here in Tilburg. Students are from all over the world, though English is the main spoken language, but many other languages can be heard in the hallways as well. Now besides studying there is (of course) a lot of partying going on. So New Years Eve is the perfect excuse for another party! The music is good, the alcohol is flowing, the dancing is energetic...
  
  Though New Years day not all students wake up in their own dormroom. Awesome, right? You scored! Or perhaps a tad bit embarassing? Time for the walk of shame! Still half awake and probably hungover you look around. Only to figure out you didn't wake up with that boy or girl, you were flirting or dancing with or had intended to stay over at. No, you are waking up as that person, or at least not as yourself. How did this happen? Nobody knows. How do you reverse it? Well, that is something to figure out.
  
  And by the way if you are not in your own body....than who the hell is?!
  
• The Greek Goddess Eris has gotten bored and when the Goddess of Strife and Discord is bored, chaos is bound to happen. One of her most infamous acts has been start of the Trojan War, by accident of course. This time her act to help her get over her boredom would be less...disastrous. Or at least it shouldn't bring war. It will just be a harmless prank, though it would change the lives of some humans forever most likely... But will that be for the better or worse? Time will tell, Eris sure will be amused...
  
  During the New Year Party, your character made an appearance and drank some of the delicious golden apple cider. Unknown to any of them however this was a very special apple cider, made from the Golden Apple of Discord. This apple, and thus the apple cider, is owned by no one else than Eris. Unlike with the gods it was not made to bring that kind of hatred and neither was it meant to provoke. No, it was just ment to provide some simple amusement as the next day, all who drunk from the cider have swapped bodies.
  
  In order to undo the spell, they will need to find the Golden Apple back. However no one knows where it is, how to get it or what to do with it once it is found. Worse even... they still need to find out what is the cause of their physical mix up. Plus... their lives are continueing, which means mandatory colleges that need to be attended, sport games that need to be played and exams that need to be aced! On top of all that, being in someone elses body gives you a rather intimate look in their life...

  1. All RPN rules apply to this and the following thread, including the discord.
  2. Be respectful towards each other. If you are not, I or iShyShy will be merciless in booting you from the roleplay.
  3. Please use decent English, thus grammar. We would like 3+ paragraphs replies, once a week.
  4. Please be 21+ (this is not a hard rule! Just a preference and open for exceptions)
  5. This is not a first come first serve roleplay. You can apply for as many roles as you want. Depending on how popular the roleplay is at most three of your characters will be chosen.
  6. If a gender (not sex!) is mentioned in a role description, please do respect that. Other than that keep the cast diverse, please! We are not strict on keeping the genders even! We are very open to non-binary, genderfluid or transgender characters.
  7. OOC will be through discord. If you do not have a discord and are not willing to make a discord or use discord, don't bother applying.
  8. The Deadline for applying will be Friday 31 January 2020 23:59 GMT+1 (or 5:59 PM EST). You can applying by sending us your character pitch in a PM.
  9. Everything that happens in the PMs and is discussed in the PMs stays in the PMs!
  10. Romance is allowed and very much encouraged, but please do not force it! Also keep it PG-13 if something steamy happens
  11. Please be aware that the swaps can include a change of your characters biological sex.
  12. Since someone else will be playing your character's physique it is important that you can give a detailed description (or specific visual) of their looks.
  13. Shy and I have several chapters and even a second season (Eris' Revenge) planned for this rp, so please only apply if you are up for long term commitment and will be active. If you want an roleplay that you can abandonded after three months, than please don't waste your time or our time by applying. (Of course we do understand real life matters getting in the way etc).
  14. Make sure you read all information [that is posted now and in the future] carefully. We are open for questions or to give further explanation when things are unclear. However lore will be important in this roleplay so we do expect you to read up on that if we provide it. Any further background information (on Greek mythology) is not necessary.
• The Jock (Zeus): aka mister Hot Stuff. He is popular and very well known throughout the UoT for his sports achievements. He has the money (his own or his parents) and he gets the girls.
  Hot Stuff's best friend (Poseidon): of course, no one can go without a best friend. He is just as popular as his friend, people know his name, but in the end he is the right hand and not the King.
  The Cheerleader (Hera): aka the Queen of UoT. She is famous and popular. She has everything going for her. People adore her and everyone knows her name.
  The Princess (Aphrodite): aka the Queens best friend. Again, life is lonely without a friend right? She is just as well known. People like her just as much, well maybe a slight bit less, always in the shadows.
  The Rebel (Dionysus): He likes to cause trouble. He is exactly what everybody warns you for and he is known throughout the UoT, yet for all the wrong reasons.
  The Wild Child (Demeter): She likes partying, isn't afraid to make a fool out of herself or she simply likes breaking rules. At least her name is known, yet not in a good context.
  The Nerd (Hades): they are not that popular and they don't really mind it. Yet still they are quite known through UoT because of the stupid trends they seem to follow, just a few days before it becomes viral or a complete hit and miss.
  The Hacker (Ares): the digital world holds no secrets for them. If you have a problem with your devices, they is your person. But if you have a failing love life, don't come to them. They still need to search theirs...
  The Artist (Apollo): they can mostly be found in the art studios working on some new pieces. They are the silent sensitive type that like to keep to the background.
  The Wallflower (Artemis): they keep to themselves, mostly with their books or artistic skill. They are overshadowed by most of the other students. But they don't mind, right?
  The Perfectionist(Athena): everything has to be perfect. Anything below a perfect grade is failure. There is nothing greater than studying. With a lot of convincing they might leave their room, by accident.
  The Gamer (Hermes): they are often refered to as having no life, but what is everyone talking about? They lived through so many lives! They might even be so good to make a living out of their hobby...
  
  *The Roles and Gods are only suggestions! You can make your own roles or chose different gods.
  **Not all roles will be filled! We will accept a maximum of 8 players total (so Shy, I and 6 others). Doubling is allowed and encouraged!
  
• This is something new, iShyShy and I want to try. Your character pitch will be your introduction of your character to us. It doesn't have to be a fully outlined character yet, just having a steady base idea is more than enough. You can decide yourself what you want to include in your character pitch and how much you want to let us know. However there are a few key elements that we think the character pitch should at least have and that is:
  * Name
  * Age (18-25)
  * Sex and gender
  * Role (either one of the list or your own)
  * God (either corresponding with the role or whatever you wish)
  * Study (this can be anything)
  * Faceclaim
  
  All of this however can still be changed over the course of time if you wish. Or you can send in a complete new application and tell us to disregard the previous one. We just want to get to know your character in an interactive way and make sure we will have a diverse cast and perhaps we will even drop some hints and secrets here and there (which is why you have to keep everything secret that is dicussed in the PMs, unless we state differently).
  
  Character Age
  This is the only part we have some small restriction on for the sake of keeping the roleplay as realistic as possible. Below I have written down a general overview of the ages and what year the character would be in. Of course there are always exceptions and you are free to make your character one, but make sure to have a good reason for it!
  
  18/19 years old - First year
  19/20 years old - Second year
  20/21 years old - Third year
  21/22 years old - Master or first year research master or Premaster*
  22/23 years old - Second year research master (or Master if you did a Premaster)
  
  *Premaster is to check if the student got what it takes to do the Master. It is a combination between second and third year subjects to make sure you know everything in case the student comes from a different study/school/country. It is also to check if the student can handle the university level if they come from a college bachelor degree.

  How do I decide on my characters god?
  That is completely up to you. It can be either your favorite Greek god. It can be your characters favorite god. It can be the god that has the same personality / skills as your character or a complete opposite or just at random. Whatever you want! As long as it is a greek God or Deity.
  
  How do I join or get a discord invite?
  By sending a PM to me and Shy with your character pitch. If we think your pitch is interesting we will send you the CS and the discord invite in return.
  
  When will we get more background information?
