So a little about me.... your potential partner.
I am a social butterfly who lives and breathes writing. I literally live in my own story at some point or another, (is there any other way to live?), and I bring my stories to you. I am aspiring author hoping to publish my first book this year.
I don't claim to be the best writer but I do try to put effort and quality into my plays.
Before you continue on to look a little bit at the proposed story there are certain things I want to make mention that would determine whether or not you continue to look this over.
- The story at hand is a plot I am looking to infiltrate for the 2nd book of my series that is currently a work in progress. Anything in the rp may or may not be used and will be appropriately credited.
- since this is a continuation of a book I will be very particular on how the grand scheme of things is run. such as certain characters and how the plot moves forwards.
- I want to find someone who is almost as much dedicated as I am. Sure I have fun in all of my plays but I take writing seriously and would like my partner to do the same.
This is a continuation of a book that I have written and am currently working on the editing stage. However, book two takes place long after book 1. In the city of Teledria technology is fairly new (however it's a wip but it's not like modern day technology). No longer run by a monarchy but by a government the city is divided into different districts: Sovereign District (this would be your millionaire class), Haven District (think Hollywood), Middle District (this would be average class), and Shantytown (think slums).
Magic is considered a rarity but is still around as there are still sorcerers. However only certain people are born with the gift and must be trained. magic isn't really reveled now that there is technology. A little bit about Teledria, it is a cursed land and no one knows why years previous a great war was fought between two sorcerers over the land. A villain known as Fear and powerful for just that Fear escaped, and Death, herself, supposedly died. Fear is back and searching for a rare gem that would grant him enough power to take over, the gem is a Black Opal. This was rumored previously to be in Teledria but has yet to ever be found.
If you so choose to take further interest you can pm and I will explain more on the characters and storyline itself. This is simply an overview.
- High detailed and lit. Of course quality over quantity any day but if I put in the effort to give a heavy detailed 4+ paragraph response... I will be disheartened to find 1-4 sentences in a reply.
- I want this to be a coop project so feel comfortable to bounce ideas and give your two cents. (like don't be shy)
- This will get dark in some areas so if you're easily triggered... don't apply.
- I would like a writing sample.
Khaos was up just as the last ray of sunshine left the city. "Ah... We can finally play!" he exclaimed with a wicked grin as he leaned against the frame of the large window his eyes staring out into the most boring neighborhood he had ever lived in. "You fed lat night right? So you're good to be around humans?" He asked his eyes still glued to the outside world as if something incredible was about to happen.
"why?" Came a dull and rather annoyed voice from the other room
A glimmer of gold and blue flashed as Khaos' eyes turned towards the room and blinked "well it's Friday night..." he said in a jovial tone which irritated the other man even more. "There's a new club I want to check out... maybe find some fresh humans" he said with a light chuckle.
"why can't you be normal?" The man finally muttered and stepped into the large living room wearing dark denim jeans and a black wife beater shirt. His pale face held a dull expression that matched his earlier tone.
Khaos laughed "where is the fun in that... besides you wanted a change too... right?" He asked with a shrug brushing his white hair from his eyes he smirked "come on.. the night is ever young... and I really want to go the club" he added. His friend rolled his eyes and nodded "yeah yeah... let me grab a shirt..." she mumbled quite annoyed and walked out of the room to grab a black shirt with blue flames on the back. Khaos wore his usual black slacks with a black under shirt and a blue button up shirt he left unbuttoned. He wore black designer shoes and a rather expensive watch on his left wrist. The two walked, after all they didn't want to get to the club too early and they didn't mind the walk into the busy city.
The two vampires made there way to the city and to the new night club that one of them just had to try. "this is stupid...." his friend mumbled his eyes scanning the crowd "you know you'll be amused when they get drunk." khaos chuckled as she found them a booth in the corner and ordered drinks. His friend, Ashton, had to admit watching humans get drunk was quite an amusing pass time. His eyes fell on one particular girl who venture inside "hmmm" he gave a smirk "khaos... looks like we aren't the only monsters of the night to venture with the living..." he chuckled. "huh?" Khaos said looking to where Ashton was gazing and his grin ever widened. "well then..... we should be polite." he chuckled and sauntered his way through the dance floor and by her side in seconds.
He looked the halfling over and grinned "what's a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" he asked voice his ever so egotistical charm.
Paige had been going about her usual business well more like her unusual business. She was a girl fascinated with the undead despite how many people said she was crazy, it mattered not to her. She pushed through the crowded streets looking at a sticky note with a scribbled address on it. IT was a new lead that she had come across to where the dark creature might be lurking. This was by no means the 20 year old's first hunt and it wouldn't be the last. She would avenge her family until her dying breath breathed its last. A shiver fell over her and she pulled her green hoodie closer to her body. It really wasn't much to keep her warm from the chill with a light hoodie and faded blue denim jeans with rips in them from being worn. She really didn't look that threatening but deep inside was a monster itself waiting to come out. She tucked a piece of her copper red hair behind her ear and stuffed the sticky note back into her pocket looking around making sure she was going the right way.
