Hello! Ok, this intro might seem a bit unorthodox, but I've never been on a roleplaying ~site~ before and I'm allowed to be nervous damn it!


I'm admittedly a little bit confused/worried/scared but I'll try my hardest to settle in as best as I can! I'm Abby/Riley/Parvis. I've been an avid roleplayer for the past five years of my life, starting off in Howrse forums (yes, howrse forums.) where I first discovered the wonderful world of OCs, before moving to DA and Tumblr and now this!


I hope to be recieved warmly - my interests are the nerdiest of the nerd interests (musicals, pokemon and cartoons, oh my!) but I don't feel like that'll be a problem here...

Thanks a bunch! I'm a little bit worried about how to just jump in and start rping, but once I get settled I hope I'll get into things quickly enough. ^^'


And I love horses! My mum actually owned stables at one point, though that was before me, and I rode for a few years before I gave it up (something I really regret looking back, but I was young and didn't realise what an oppurtunity I was being given.) And that sounds exactly like the kind of company I like to keep! :')

No need to just jump in... I definitely suggest you look at the different Interest Check sections. They can be found underneath each forum on the site. For example, if you want a 1x1 roleplay, the interest check is under a subforum of the 1x1 section. Essentially, it's where people post either A. what they're looking for for a roleplay or B. where people post their games that are looking for players! It's like advertisement, essentially, and it's a great way to meet the players before just jumping into a game. (:

I like it, too. My school's choir and musical theater is performing it in April. I'm a factory worker for End of the Day, a drunk in Master of the House, and an off-stage singer for Lovely Ladies.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.


Do NOT under any, uncertain circumstances create an interest check in the RP forum! Make sure that you create your interest check in the interest check forums! If you create an interest check in the RP forums then you have just created an RP and all the threads that go along with that. Then administration has to go through and delete all those threads. That is a hassle and a pain in the rear so please make sure that you are posting an interest check in the interest check forums ONLY.
