The Last Avatar
This story of two friends. One an heir to one of the most powerful magical families in the entire world. The other is a servant with no born with no magical talent in a world ruled by magic. The two shouldn't be friends but something about the opposite sides of their lives creates a bond most could only dream of. The heir hates their position of power and only wants to enjoy life, not take over a position on the ruling counsel. The servant wishes to have magic so that he can become someone in the world. However, a strange turn in their fates would set them on a path that neither would have imagined.
When the two travel together to a distant location, they stumble upon something they should have never found. Thanks to the servant's lack of magic, he is able to break a seal. In doing so, he is bonded to a source of magic, the Dragon Fire, source of all dragon magic and one of the Primal Sources in the world. However, when the seal was broken, an ancient evil was awakened from it's slumber.
Terakora was a powerful sorceress, the only known spell caster able to use all types of magic. She was known as the Avatar for the power she possessed. However the power eventually went to her head and she began to experiment with magic. That was the beginning of her Fall, for she discovered Life Magic and the ability to use life energy to enhance her spells. The atrocities that were borne from her thirst for power and knowledge knew no bounds. Finally Eon, King of the Dragons faced Terakora. The two battled with incredible ferocity. When it was apparent that Eon would triumph, Terakora cast a devious spell the likes of which had never before been seen, she severed Eon of his magic, and through him all dragons for the Dragon King was connected to the Dragon Fire. However, Eon in his cunning and wherewithal cast a spell just before his power was lost. He used his connection to the Dragon Fire to bind Terakora in a prison of her worst nightmares, never to be freed for the rest of eternity for her atrocities.
With the lose of the Dragon Fire, dragons faded from the world, magic became less common in the mortal kin, and an era of wonder ended. Now darkness has been unleashed once again upon the world. Our two characters will have to discover their potentials, one the ability to use the Dragon Fire, the other as the Light, capable of using all magics. Only together can they face the coming storm, but other forces loom in the horizon wishing to use our power for their own gain. What will happen?
