Simple plot points to get the ball rolling and see if there is any interest...
- The setting will be a world unlike earth in most ways.
- The technology level will be advanced. No religion has developed on the world, and science and sorcery rule the path of advancement.
- There are dozens of sapient and sentient races. Human, Elves, Dwarves, Fae, Dragons, etc... There are racial biases and full on animosity as well.
- Magic and technology work together in tandem. We have flying ships, teleportation sites, AI golems with full cognitive abilities.
- Most are able to use at least a small amount of magic, but very few possess powerful abilities or depths of magical energy.
- Magical potential is passed down through the generations. It can weaken or strengthen.
- The Main Plot will be happening within the most powerful Order in the world, The Order of the Soul.
- The Order of the Soul is exclusively people with the ability to use the Soul Blade, which is a manifestation of an individual's soul given physical form.
- The Soul Blade can take on nearly any form, but it is always a physical object.
- The Soul Blade bestows upon their users powers that are usually stronger than most other races. It is a focal point of their power, their personality, and their limitation.
- Soul Blades, being manifestations of the user's souls, are unique.
- A Soul Blade cannot be stolen or taken from their user.
- A Soul Blade can be broken, but over time it will repair itself. There are circumstances that would prevent this however.
- Soul Blades can evolve, though there is no way to force the evolution.
- To evolve a Soul Blade, you must have a spiritual epiphany while under extreme mental, physical, and spiritual duress. The process must be NATURAL for the individual.
- Evolved Soul Blades are many times stronger then their previous form.
- The Story will begin a few days before the main (and LOOONGGG complicated) conflict begins.
- THE strongest Soul Blader will turn upon the order. Having spend years plotting and conniving.
- We will be relatively new Soul Bladers, still learning how to use our abilities and duties when war breaks out.
- Our characters will have to discover their potential in the heat of battle.
- The battles will be political, war, emotional, and spiritual.
- There will be sub plots (make your own to make things interesting please!!)
- The war will end with the destruction of The Soul Order.
- If the "Good" or "Bad" Guys win is entirely up to how the RP goes.
