In an academia setting Emmanuel is a young man who was born and raised in Haiti for most of his life. A skilled tire machèt fighter who fell into the wrong crowd in an attempt to escape from poverty the plagued his home. Emmanuel was raised primarily by his mother lovelie and her parents, though he lost the latter during the 2010 earthquake that devastated haiti. He was then taken in his wealthy aunt, who left Haiti for a better life. He, along with his mother, were given a place to stay and Emmanuel introduced to the world of wealth and elitism. Emmanuel is a skilled painter and sculptor with a line of lovers that he refers to as “muses”. He’s an intelligent and sauve young man with a near eidetic memory.

A mutant hero by the name of Daybreak. Zahair was born in Jamaica, New York. His parents knew that he would be different once his mother began showing more. She would get intense hot flashes, so intense that those around her would have to step away. Zahair was born inside the apartment complex that he was raised in, a water birth with the help of a mutant friendly midwife. They didn’t go to doctors in fear of discrimination. Zahair’s life was pretty normal once he learned to control his powers. However that changed when a group targeting mutants set off a bomb in his apartment complex was he was at school, killing both his parents and many of his loved ones. Zahair was then taken in by the same woman who helped his mother deliver him. His spent time with the brotherhood of evil, as they convinced him to join with promises of finding out who did the attack. Eventually Zahair discovered that his father was a noble from Wakanda and he left the brotherhood. Returning home after spending time there to help his community.

Other than his deadly claws and fangs, Alonso possesses superhuman senses, strength, speed, and agility. He is able to see clearly in the dark as in the day. His body is able to withstand extreme conditions. As a feline type Alonso has razor sharp canines and claws that are able to cut through flesh and other items quite easily. His pupils can change from a human’s to a cat‘s at will.

Alonso is, or rather was, the son of a notorious mafia leader until he faked his death. He was next in line to take over the family business but Alonso wanted a different life for himself, one with more freedom. The chance came when his father died, after taking over Alonso sought revenge on those responsible. After taking them all out Alonso faked him on death and put his plan into motion. As he pulled strings from the shadows he traveled, becoming a feared mercenary in the process. Alonso spent years mastering his craft and creating a persona away from his mecenary work. A man with his hands with both the criminal and legal world. Eventually he set up his own network of mercenaries, where he would send them out on mission. His adopted daughter Dina being one of them.

Power | Reptile Physiology, Dina has a variety of features from different species of reptiles including

• Venom Generation - Dina produces a venom that is as potent as that of a black mamba’s. Though it is more dangerous as there isn’t an anti-venom for her type of venom. Dina’s venom, along with her bite, is painful and can cause a range of problems such as loss of control of tongue and jaw, tunnel and blurred vision, paralysis, and eventually death depending on how much she produces.
• Powerful Bite - Her bite is powerful enough to go through bone and metal. It is similar to that of the Nile crocodile. Her jaws are strong and once she has locked onto something, it’s hard to shake her off.
• Regeneration - Dina body is able to regenerate lost limbs and heal wounds at a fast rate depending on the size of the injury. Typically something small like scratches, stab wounds, and bullets wounds take a few seconds to a few minutes. Replacing lost limbs takes more time, such as hours to days. If she’s injured enough Dina goes into a coma like sleep in order to use all of her energy to heal. In this state she appears as if she’s dead.
• Wall Crawling - She can produce the same type of adhesive that geckos use in order to stick to surfaces.
• Enhanced Condition - Dina strength grants her the ability to lift at least 12 tons. Her speed is greater than the top human athlete and she can reach a top speed of 45 miles per hour. Dina’s agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced as well, including her reflexes. She’s more durable than a normal human due to her scales, as they act as armor for her. She had enhanced stamina, being able to stay active for long periods of time.
• Reptile Manipulation - Dina can influence reptiles of all kind, while not outright controlling them they do feel the urge to obey her. Dina can speak to them and form a connection with them. This mind link allows her to see through their eyes and such.

Dina was abandoned by her parents as child, dropped her off a some orphanage when they got the chance. It was because she was not born right. She looked more reptile like that human so her parents kept her locked up until they sent her away. Dina would constantly run away from the orphanage, preferring the streets than to be stuck with people who feared and hated her. It was on the streets that she met her adopted father, Alonso. She had attempted to pick pocket him and he caught her. The rest was history. After taking her in Alonso made sure that she was educated and once she was old enough, began teaching her to follow in his footsteps. Dina had a variety of tutors when her father was too busy to train her.

Lisette is the daughter of a carpenter and his lovely house wife. She was the twin sister of Juliette Comeaux before she was cruely taken from her. Lisette’s life was simple up until her powers manifested. Her family was seen as a model one, something to strive for. Lisette would spend her days playing in her mother’s jewelry or running through flower fields with her sister. However, that all changed when her powers showed themselves. Her ability was easy to hide at first, with her wearing pretty lace gloves in order to not touch people, but when the black fog manifested, the cat was out of the back. Living within a small community had become dangerous, as one of the very few people with powers Lisette became an outcast. She could remember going to church one day with her sister, led by a friend of her family. Lisette remembers feeling that something was wrong, when those doors closed. She was terrified the whole process of the exorcism, of the repeated baptism, sputtering and coughing as water entered her mouth and burned her lungs. So she lashed out and the place was engulfed with her fog. And within it those participating swore that they saw demons, heard their voices and felt their touches. It gave Lisette enough time to escape. And as Lisette ran she didn’t even realize that she had left Isabella behind. When the news of her death came to her, she was devastated. Lisette and her family moved after that and she was changed forever.

Kamaria slayed many Romans as revenge before traveling the world, building a army of her home to use as she saw fit. At some point she got her hands on a enchanted object that allowed her to walk in the sun.

History Option 2.) Kamaria was a noble girl, a handmaiden to Cleopatra before the Roman invaded. Her father was killed and she and her mother were taken as prisoners and separated, never to see each other again. Kamaria was forced to become a concubine, where she was turned by one of her regulars. Kamaria allowed him to teach her of her new life and travel, before she killed him. She spent her time traveling and turning others, using her time wisely to benefit her.

• Life-force Absorption - Delilah is able to feed off of the life-force of others through touch. Her feeding usually leaves the target feeling weak, as if their energy is being drained. If she holds on for too long it will result in death. The draining speeds up if she’s been too long without feeding.
• Supernatural Condition - She’s more durable than humans. Delilah’s senses are enhanced, from her being able to see in the dark to hear things that are far away. Her strength is also enhanced, as well as her stamina, agility, speed, and healing. She can heal from mundane wounds and illnesses with ease, taking up to a few minutes to a few hours. While she is stronger than humans Delilah is not as strong as a full-blooded demon.
• Demonic Magic - As the daughter of a demon and satanic witch, magic comes easy to her. Delilah specializes in magic of the left-handed sort, she’s someone who is very knowledgeable about her craft. Delilah has a number of tomes containing knowledge on the dark and demonic arts.
• Transmutation - Delilah can teleport from one place to another with her mind. In order to do this she needs to have a clear image of the place she wants to teleport in her mind. The only way that she doesn’t need to do this is if she’s being summoned by another with the use of her symbol and the correct incantation.
• Hell-Fire Manipulation - Delilah can summon black flames that come straight from the pits of hell. These flames cannot be extinguished by normal means, they can only be put out or repelled by holy items like water and crosses. Her flames cause more damage as they attack both the body and soul, making recovering a slow process. These flames are hard to control, thus Delilah can only summon so much at a time before the strain is too much.

Delilah a cambion, the half demon half human offspring of a high ranking demon and a satanic witch. Her birth was a planned event by the coven she was raised in. The honor was bestowed upon her mother, she was to be the vessel for new power being introduced into their coven. Delilah spent much of her life with the other children of her coven, learning their craft and such. However Delilah was always an closer eye on her to make sure that she learned to control her demonic side.

She can handle stab wounds and the like without any drawback and swiftly. Sicknesses like pneumonia and infections from injuries are also easy. Her blood also has healing properties. Life threatening things require more time and energy.
• Audiokinesis - Alina has the ability to manipulate music and sound waves. She mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well warp, strengthen, echo, speed up, and slow down sound. Alina often uses this ability in the form of a high pitched whistling sound that causes an intense headache to those who hear it or in the form of sonic waves that she can physically release from her body.
• Photokinesis - As the daughter of a sun god Alina has the ability to manipulate light. She can use this ability in many ways, such as releasing solar flares to create a whip of light or using it to simply radiate heat and light from her body. She can also create a dome of bright light and heat that others are unable to look into without hurting their eyes. And if surrounded themselves, leads to dehydration or fainting.

Alina is the demigod daughter of Apollo. She was mildly curious about her father growing up and her mother was honest with her from the start, telling her that her father had just up and left when she was born. Alina wasn’t too interested after that, wanting little to do with a man who abandoned his family so easily. However that changed when the monster attacks began and she had no choice but to learn of her divine heritage.

Ikenna is a legacy, the grandson of Ekwensu, Trickster Alusi of War and Bargains and of Amadioha, Alusi of Thunder and Lightning. As a legacy Ikenna was well aware of his heritage and proud of it too. When he was chosen by his grandparents to continue their legacy his family was proud.

• Enhanced Senses - She, like the rest of her species, possess the enhanced senses of sight and hearing. They are able to sounds far off ultrasonic frequency. They also possess the ability to see at night or in darkness.
• Enhanced Healing - Sirens possess greater regenerative capabilities than humans. They heal quickly from non-fatal injuries within a short period.
• Enhanced Strength - Omi can overpower someone twice her size, lift up an anchor with no problem and throw a pipe hard enough to pierce a wall. Despite her slender form she of verse dense, weighing at 210lbs. This is so that she can withstand extreme water conditions and pressure without trouble.
• Siren Song - She possesses a strange, alluring song that many humans are drawn to. She can use her voices to sing a wordless song that can manipulate a human's feelings or actions, depending on its intentions; this can range from influencing a person to defend the mermaid from others, draw others to them. She can also use her voice to sing a sequence of tones which, when accompanied by hand gestures over a person's body, is capable of moving pain out of it temporarily.
• Omi’s powers, such a enhanced senses and strength, increase when she’s in her true form.

Weaknesses |

• Siren Song - Her song has a negative effect on those who listen, especially humans, creating a type of lesion on the brain beginning in the frontal lobe, the region that controls impulses and inhibitions, which can lead to side effects ranging from hallucinations, delusions, lowered inhibitions.
• Metamorphosis - The process of changing forms is a extremely painful one, with some dying in the process. the change includes bones rearranging, skin melding or tearing, and sharp teeth and fangs piercing skin. The change can leave her exhausted and quite weak after.
• Mortality - Despite their long lifespans and durability mermaids are still abled to be killed. stab wounds, blood loss, and starvation are just some of the things that can kill them.
• High Stress - When stressed she can revert back to her more predatory and aggressive instincts.

Omi is a siren, apart of a species that came to be through supernatural means. Originally slaves who were tossed off slave ships, her people were blessed by the Orisha Yemeja and transformed, given the ability to survive underwater and adapt into deadly predators and protectors of the sea. • As a goddess of nature, a piece of earth herself, Idumea can create and manipulate plants and earth. Idumea can make them grow in abundance or cause them to wilt. She is able to bless or curse land, so that the soil may be fertile or barren. Idumea can grow things as big as she wants to or even mutate them. She needs only to look at a plant to tell what type it is. With earth she can create constructs, cause tremors, or fissures.
• Idumea can communicate with plants through touch or telepathy. Though they don’t talk with voices, they can send emotions to Idumea to let her know how they feel. Plants see all and thus, they can act as Idumea’s eyes within the areas they’re in. Images can be shown to her, events that have happened in an area. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to tell how they feel or their overall condition. Her bond with her sacred animals is strong, as they act as forest guides or signs of her blessing.
• Idumea was once called upon by worshipers in hopes of securing a bountiful harvest, they prayed to her to put food on their tables and fill their bellies. She has power over nourishment. Idumea can take this away from a person, so that they are forever hungry, never satisfied, until their bodies wither away to nothingness. She can also nourish them, so that they may never go hungry and they may never feel the pangs of hunger.
