Emity slipped one of her arms from out of its metal cage and swept her bangs out of her face in a smooth gesture before returning it to its other spot and standing regularly. By how the boy had stated his interest in the job made her a bit uncertain for a moment, something in the back of her mind picking out some key points that would make it odd although she didn't pay much attention to them. Especially when he invited her to sit somewhere with her to continue the conversation a small smile playing on her lips.


"All I was going to do was read, and in my opinion that sounds more interesting. C'mon." Emitys smile grew as she straitened her back to make it known that she was prepared to walk to their next destination.

 

[Shog]

'She's as good as mine' Ryan thought to himself. He pulled up next to her left side so he was no longer obstructing her path. "So, where too? The library?" He asked. 'The hard part will be keeping her' he thought. 'I'll find a way to convince her, I'm sure'.


(going to dinner)

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Kurai walks up to Ryan and Emity. Without his cloak, he looks like a kind person. As he's only been seen wearing his cloak, there's practically no way to make the connection to who he is. His voice is no longer distorted by the cloak. "Hey. You were quite good out there." He says, looking at Emity. "Mind if I join in on your little talk? I'm Kurai, by the way. Kurai Higurashi." The way he presents himself makes him look easy to manipulate, which he secretly is doing on purpose, to see if Ryan's trying to manipulate people or not, though plans to act like this for a good while, even if Ryan's manipulating him, him playing along.

 

[Shog]

(Ryan isn't in the competition)


Ryan looked over at the new comer. He didn't look familiar to him. 'Until I know he has enough power, I won't waste my time with him. Master needs power, and only power' he thought to himself. What he said out loud was quite different. "Oh, hi. I'm Ryan and this is Emity. It's nice to meet you. Emity and I were just going to go find a good place to sit down and talk. I don't mind if you tag along. Say, what's your element?"

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi stretched up, she was so full and happy with the day so far. She was ready for her tournament battle, but was much more excited to cheer on her friends in their battles. "Today is going to be a great day!" She smiles and looks up at her hands, as she brings her hands down a wave of sparkles fall down beside her and brighten her persona. She continues to walk toward Ivan and the others as the sparkles float around her. She looks down at her yellow shirt and frowns, "I think I'm feeling sapphire blue today." Gently touching her shirt it slowly changes from a bright yellow to a soft sapphire blue.

 

[Blood dog]

Xobic just got to the arena and he was wanting to fight you can tell this because his armor was coated in fire that normally happens when he's excited to fight.he was walking down the hallway when he overheard two kids conversation he decided to introduce himself to as the kid Ryan did."and my name is Xobic. It's nice to meet you."

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Kurai whispers in Ryan's ear, making sure nobody else can hear him. "I'm the cloaked scythe wielder. I already know you're manipulating Emity, though I won't tell. Feel free to use me as you wish as well." he steps back from Ryan. "I'll be right back. I forgot my weapon in the locker room." He walks back into the locker room, grabbing a scythe he had hidden a while back. It looks nothing like his real scythe weapon, which he's only to use while wearing his cloak. He walks right back out, now holding his scythe for while not wearing a cloak. "Well, here's my scythe. Wish it were as good-looking as the cloaked guy's scythe though."

 

[Shog]

"Hey Gigi" Ivan said walking up to her. "How are ya? Ready for the fine battle next week? I am." I van was really getting pumped about this. He could win and he knew it!

"Oh, hi" Ryan said to the new commer. "I'm Ryan, and this is Emity and Kurai. I've seen you in the arena, and I must say that I am impressed. The sheer amount of power you posses is impressive." 'Enought power for me to use' he thought. 'I'll chat with him later.'


Ryan was suprised when Kurai whispered to him. 'So that's him? I'll test his loyalty, but also powerful. And of the original element too. This just keeps getting better and better.' "You a fan of his? He is a strong oponent, that's for sure."

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

"Strong opponent? Are you kidding? He's won all his fights without so much as a single drop of sweat. All he's had to do is swing his scythe once or twice, and it's over. I'm just surprised that very few actually noticed him fighting out there." He looks at Ryan for a moment, his eyes reflecting his current loyalty to Ryan. He then looks over at Xobic. "Hey, nice to meet you. I'm Kurai, as you've just been told by him."

 

[Blood dog]

Xobic look at the Kurai he looked like a strong opponent fighting him might be fun."to you as well Kurai I hope to fight you in the future."He extinguish the flame on his armor."well now I'm fighting next so I have to be going." He slowly walked away from the group of people

 

[Shog]

"I just hope he doesn't get overconfident" Ryan said trying to send a message to Kurai. "Everyone is hiding their own tactics. For instance, the light girl Gigi. A fourth year light elementalist should be able to make some pretty good illusions, yet we haven't seen her use any yet. Is it because she is just unskilled with them, or hiding it until she needs it? It's anyone's guess."

 

[logastellus]

Kutlea just stands far from them not speaking at all and just watches them chat with each other. She just looks at them and sighs 'Wonder if they will accept me...' She thought in her mind

"Hey Gigi" Ivan said walking up to her. "How are ya? Ready for the fine battle next week? I am." I van was really getting pumped about this. He could win and he knew it!

Gigi smiled brightly at Ivan, "yeah, I'm super excited! But I'll probably get K.O'd in the first round." She grins at him sheepishly, "I'm not one for fighting you know." Raising her fists she smiles "I work from a higher calling and that calling is CHEER LEADING!!!! I WILL BRING OUT THE RISING PASSION IN EVERYONE!!" She put her arms behind her back and giggled at him. Gigi's theatrical side was bubbling with energy, she just had to let some of that come out.


Gigi notices Kutlea and smiles and waves at her "hey Kutlea! Don't stand there like a lump! Come over." She smiles at her shouting in the halls.

 

[Shog]

"You are good at it, though" Ivan pointed out. "And if you can avoid battles for a while then you have less competition as they pick each other off." Ivan notices Kutlea standing around also and waver her over in a friendly matter. "We don't bite. Well, Gigi might if you are somehow mistaken for food."

 

[logastellus]

Kutlea looks at Gigi and smiles softly walking over to them . She puts her hands in her pockets and looks at them her hair in a high ponytail.


"...was a...very interesting fight...I liked it a lot...maybe next time I'll join in...but for now I'm not in the mood..." She tells them then resumes staying quiet

"Well, I'll be going now. I need to find that guy in the cloak and see if he'll teach me how to fight. It'd be hard to find anybody else with that fighting capability through pure weapon use." Kurai starts to walk out of the area, a small eye on his scythe pointed directly at Ryan as he walks away, it somehow being obvious that it's there to Ryan, but Emity doesn't notice it at all. The eye also has a small design on it that, if it were examined closely, would seem to have a small point to the design that is directed to a dead-end wall off on a path to his right, once again, somehow able to be noticed only by Ryan. Kurai walks over to that dead-end, using a secret passage that had been there for almost eight years, with nobody knowing about it but him.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi glared at Ivan "that was one time Ivan, and that guy was dressed as a cake!" She turned and smiled a Kutlea "Ignore him, he's a idiot." As she listened to her, when she finished she nodded "yeah It was quite the battle. Me too we should do something fun!!" She claps her hands and smiled, then turned to Ivan "Ivan what can we do that's fun?"

 

[Shog]

"Sure, ask the idiot where to go for fun" Ivan joked. "We could head to the game room. If we're lucky it wont be jam packed. You interested Wattle?"

 

[logastellus]

Kutlea just looks at them and gives a small smile. She yawns then scratches her head and shoves her head back into her pockets. "Game room?...I'm in...haven't done that in a while..." She said and looks at Gigi her golden eyes shining bright.

Wattle had fallen into his own thoughts his hidden expression thoughtful as he replayed the fights he had witnessed that day and evaluated who he believed to have a chance in winning. But without being fully aware of each persons limits he found it to be a mere theory that wouldn't be proven anytime soon till the upcoming battle. Then his name was spoken and he looked up and nodded quietly,


"Sounds fun, of course." The third year smiled though he knew it'd go unnoticed.

Emory listened to the two and waved happily to Kurai when he left hoping to see him later as well before turning to Ryan and sweeping the same arm in the direction of the corridor in a mocking gentlemen nature.


"Shall we?"

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi claps loudly and smiles, "then its settled lets go to the game room!!" She smiles and turns to the others "Hey everyone were going to have fun in the game room!! If you want to have fun!! Follow me!!" Gigi then starts skipping in the complete opposite direction from the game room.

 

[SkyFilms]

Wattle oblivious that their going in the wrong direction and still suffering from the bad direction illness he believes Gigi had given him follows her happily attempting to skip alongside her but failing do so due to his lack of experience with the playful task.

 

[Shog]

Ivan reached out and snatched Gigi's wrist. "There is a reason we never let you lead. Other way." Ivan let go and started heading off in the right direction.

"You're so polite" Ryan said. He continued walking towards the library next to Emity. 'I'll have to find those two later' he thought to himself. 'But for the time being I will need to see what I can do with her.'

as Xobic was walking around exploring the whole place so he will not get lost to the point where he is not paying attention to where he was going accidentally bumped into a man who is pulling a girl"i,m sorry."

 

[Shog]

Ivan felt someone bump into him and reflexively turned around to see who it was. Xobic, a fire competitor. "Don't sweat it man. You know, there are no more battles for another week. You can take your armor off. And good job making it this far, but you won't get past me. That's a promise."
