Fantasy Element Academy

(Ok, so regonal tennis is this week and state tennis will last several days next week. I will be on as much as possible (on my I-pod at school now), but feel free to continue on your own. This is player driven, but I might add a few things here and there. Also, feel free to make another character. It will take some time but I will hunt down the sign up sheet. Thank you for your lasting interest.)

(well, I think the CS is gone, so here is a new one. Just fill it out for your current character and a new one if you wish)

Anything special in weapon:

Brief bio:

Name: Ivan Reynolds

Age (13-19): 17

Year (1-5): 4

Appearance: About 6 feet tall with short black hair. He is slender and well toned, but not buff. He has blue eyes.

Element (look to first page for help): Water

Anything special in weapon: Two blades can emerge from the sides of the trident.

Personality: Ivan tries to be one of the best in school in an attempt to give more credit to the water element. He has a logic based mind and is mission oriented. He tries to loosen up for his friends, though.

Brief Bio: When Ivan first came to the school he was a shy kid that stuck to the books and learned what he needed to know in every class. He was often picked on because he didn't retaliate. This changed when he met Gigi half way into his second year. Her bubbly attitude allowed him to lighten up and have some fun.

(Do you mind if I jump in as a new student? If so, here's my CS)

Name: Kurai Higurashi

Age (13-19): 17

Year (1-5): 4

Inside the leather used to make his cloak is a thin layer of metal that is made to still allow the cloak its movement, as well as a thin layer of rubber around the metal, to prevent electricity from damaging him without hitting his face or hand, which his face is usually protected by the hood, and his hand is usually protected by the extra long sleeves.

Element: Dark

Anything special in weapon: The weapon can be split in half to form two scythes, as well as the bottom of the scythe has two launching mechanisms that shoot kunai on metal wires to either pull enemies in for close combat, or to move around easily. Both mechanisms still function after the scythe is split, working as a single kunai on each scythe.

Brief bio: Kurai's been learning how to control his powers since he discovered them around ten years ago, now in the middle of his fourth year at the school. He's gotten pretty good at using his scythe, able to skillfully split it into two as well as put it back together during the same combination of attacks, as well as implement his kunai mechanism during the same combination as well. He's gone relatively unnoticed for the past three years due to keeping out of activities, though has finally decided to get involved in everything.

@UltraYuseke

The ages and years do apply. The school would also invite them at the beginning of the next year. And I'm lax on the year to age difference (three ages per year). Fix that and I will accept you. I'm always looking for new people.

@Shog

In other words, year three or four would be appropriate for him? Also, I could just make him a student who went unnoticed since the beginning of the year, if that's what you would prefer in order for me to have him part of the school instead of waiting for the next year.
Edited my character's information. Hope it's accepted.

Eh, if anyone's genious, it's my sister who's kinda the reason I'm even on this website, in fact.

Ivan walked out of the locker room for the last time. He had won his final duel and there were only 10 contestants left. It would be a free for all in the forest. Just a couple days from now. Ivan had made detailed mental nots of each of his opponents, and it would be a tough fight. However, he knew he could do it. He spotted Gigi at the end of the hall and walked towards her. "Ready for the final show?" He asked her.

Kurai had so far won his matches through nothing but pure use of his scythe, and had yet to reveal any of the secrets, such as the mechanisms he can attach to it to launch kunai, or the fact that it is actually two scythes. He knows that he'll have to do something differently during the free for all, though is certain he'll do good. Somehow, he's gone unnoticed by just about everybody, even though a man wielding a scythe and wearing a cloak should be fairly easy to notice as existent in a fight such as those he has participated in thus far. He walks up to Ivan, still wearing his cloak, with his scythe currently on his back. His eyes can be seen under the darkness of the cloak, being what most people would describe as emotionless, or name 'Eyes of Darkness'. "You'd better not lose before fighting me..." He says, looking directly into Ivan's eyes. He walks away, then once he reaches a specific area where nobody else could access, he took his cloak off, hiding it as well as his scythe. He puts his glasses on, then leaves the area he had just hidden his cloak and scythe at, making sure nobody sees him in that area at all.

Winning all of his fights with just The scarlet flame Theo was feeling satisfied as he didn't need to use any others, after getting a shower and getting dressed he walked out of the locker room feeling refreshed.

(I'm still interested, and I'm wondering if I could make another character with Wattle? She'd be a girl since I've seen we're sort've lacking the gender ^-^)

Kurai's now waiting outside the locker rooms. He looks around, seeing how empty it is. It reminds him of the cloak he wears. It's what he uses to empty his heart of any and all emotion; He's practically an empty soul when wearing his cloak. He walks back over to the area where Ivan's at, but doesn't approach him yet. He's waiting to see if anything happens, or if anybody would even bother to approach him. Nobody approaching him, or even noticing him, is what's happened to him his entire life. Even when he's wearing a cloak, winning all of his matches in little time with a scythe, nobody notices he's even fighting in the tournament.

Wattle eyed Ivan quietly before looking back towards Gigi taking another small bite of his pie and chewing it slowly. The two people before him where astonishingly powerful and was glad his injury caused him to fall from the upcoming battle for many reasons. But mainly because he knew he would most likely be demolished by his opponents very quickly, and as well because it gave Gigi the chance to participate and to show off her amazing abilities The third year knew that they both where hiding small tricks in their sleeves and it made him wonder what they could be making him anxious for the upcoming battle.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emity had won each of her battles unsuspectingly, someone of her appearance never seen to make it even past the first round. She slipped her arms into her crutches, the metal around her upper arms and her fingers grasping the cushioned handles roughly before pushing herself off the girls locker benches and towards the door. The girls frail legs shook as she walked quietly, the click of her crutches on the tile echoing through the empty room as she stumbled out of the room and into the hallway. For a moment she spared a glance towards the two boys outside of the boys locker room but she quickly turned down the corridor to shy of a soul to even nod a greeting.

Ryan patiently waited for the electric girl to come out. She could be valuable to him, and he needed everyone he could find. He saw her walk out with crutches, look nervously at her competition, and walk the other direction. She clearly hadn't seen Ryan yet, but he was hidden admittedly. when she was just a few feet away, he walked out from hiding and into her path. "Hi, I'm Ryan" he introduced politely holding out his hand. "I have been watching you fight, and I must say that I am impressed. How do you do it? Do you even need crutches now?" He was acting perfectly friendly, but behind his grey eyes he was analyzing everything and sizing her up. 'Maybe she won't be as helpful as I thought, but she can still surprise me' he thought to himself.

Emity let out a small yawn the after effects of using so much of her electrifying energy to support her legs finally coming into play. She was prepared to retrieve perhaps a book from the library then retreat to her personal quarters before sleeping so she may recover what she could. When she had only stepped forward a couple feet a young man stood before her and held out his hand kindly to her. But she couldn't help but be a bit timid, eyeing the hand uncertainly as well as the boys expression. But her naive and gullible mind set made it difficult to see his true intentions and trusted him fairly quickly by his caring expression which reminded her of her brother. And so she took his hand lightly with a cold touch as she responded softly,

"Emity, and thank you. I use my element to speed up the course of my heart so my legs recover more energy. It's pretty draining so I can't do it all the time hence the two contraptions I'm leaning on." She was such an innocent soul rarely capable of seeing bad in others, and it was obvious when she smiled up at him.

"Wow, that's impressive" Ryan said, faking surprise. "I didn't think that was possible. So, what do you think of your opponents?" He gestured over her shoulder to a couple of the others for emphasis. He was trying to pick out which of the ten remaining would be suitable for his purposes. He finished sizing Emity up and decided she would a good candidate. Easily manipulated, anyway. Not everyone was so easily used.

Emity smiled lightly with gratitude when he complimented her though a tug at the back of her mind told her to walk away she remained standing there pleasantly surprised by the boys attitude. Before sparing a quiet glance back over her shoulder at the two boys she looked at earlier, then to Ryan in front of her. Hazel eyes thoughtful as she attempted to place her opinions in words.

"They're all quite powerful, each of them have their own styles and anyone can predict that them as well as you are hiding small tricks. And with such a variety in styles and elements we're sure to have an interesting battle." The brunette completed the statement but then another topic came up and she felt the need to verbally make it known.

"Many people are searching for comrades to fight with, but I see it personally as useless since they can't share the winning title the trust they built up will be torn down the second they're the only ones. Devastating truly." Emi let out a small sigh her long hair tugged back in a thin braid which barely held her bangs out of her pale expression.

"I personally have nothing to hide" Ryan lied. "I'm not even in the competition. There is no way I could do it. Fighting... it just doesn't seem to click with me. That's why when I graduate this year I plan on going into politics. One of my friends keeps suggesting I become a lawyer." He lightly chuckled at the last comment. "I suppose I really should look into my options more closely. What about you? What do you plan on doing after you graduate?"

Emity leaned into the wall silently, the scattered click of her metallic crutches all that really made a sound as she placed her shoulder against it as she listened to him. Finding that she was becoming rather fond of the boy at a fast rate, at the mention of not enjoying fighting. She herself wasn't into the idea of fighting either but the nurse insisted that it would be best to physically use her legs in an attempt to make them easier to function and somehow heal them in certain aspects. The brunette didn't care much about it right then and hadn't even intended on staying in the competition for longer then the second round but after facing such easy opponents it was now a fight for her pride.

"A lawyer?" She cocked her head to the side a bit confused by the statement for Ryan seemed by appearance to be one that ventured rather then manipulated people into believing him.

"And me?" She hummed a soft short 'hm' in thought before responding somewhat bashfully as she was embarrassed to state it. "An author, it's not super spectacular but it's more interesting then most jobs. But a lawyer, is there something that actually makes you want to go down that route other then a friend continuously telling you you should be one?

"Well, it has good pay for one" Ryan said half jokingly. "For another, its hard to confuse me. I can understand contracts and find loop holes fairly easily. I also don't like losing arguments even if I know I'm wrong. That is half the job there. Um, wana go and find a place to sit down or something? If you want me to just leave you alone, you can chose that option too." He said the last part kind of sheepishly and diverted his eyes from hers.
