Ivan barely had any time to react. He noticed some of the Gigis didn't move the water when they moved, but there was not enough time to figure out which one was real. Instead he waited until they were all fairly close and rushed the water up around him in a mini hurricane. The light was distorted and it was clear who were the mirages. The real Gigi was caught in the torrent and flung away. Hoping to get to her before she could react, he went in for melee combat.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi pushed back by the current realized that melee combat was what is coming next. "You've gotten better at countering my tricks Ivan now for the real fun!!" she gives him a smile and a wink. She pulled the chain portion off her sai's and began to twirl it around moving. She dashes to the right and throws her chain at Ivan's spear wrapping itself around the spear tight.


(This is the part I suck at so call me out if it's unfair okay?)

 

[Shog]

Ivan reflexivly pulled back when Gigi wrapped the chain around his tritent. He stopped for a moment, and then jerked forward like he was going to charge her. Instead he jerked back with all his weight. He was heavier than her, so he was hoping it was enough to pull it out of her hands.


(I think you are playing fair. You can try and disarm me.)

(No way you did exactly what I was hoping you would do)


Yes Gigi smiled as Ivan shifted his weight back she jumps forward right into Ivans face. With the last of her energy she flashes a bright flash fright into his face and then quickly gives him a few light jabs (literal light jabs there were tiny lights appeared on him where she hit him). Then she pulls out her sais and jumps back. "Point! Your lucky I hadn't used my sais you'd be Swiss cheese." She giggles and flips her hair "You wanna keep at it?"

 

[Shog]

"You know me" Ivan said hopping up. "I finish every duel. Until someone cocedes or us disarmed for 5 minuets." He came in too close for her chains to be much of a use, but too far for her sais to reach. It was the perfect length for him. He went in for various strikes. Gigi was doing a good job blocking him, and he wasn't giving her the time to blind him again. With his hands busy it took longer than he would have liked, but he snaked water around her limbs.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

As the water moves around her it gets heavy and harder to move. Uh oh Gigi was slowing down. It would take a few more minutes to get her power back she just had to stall until then. She looked around how can I move faster.. she almost slipped on the water and then gave a slight smile. She leaned against the wall and pushed against it sliding across the water as she went. She began zig zagging across the cave floor. Using her sais as tiny ski poles.

[Shog]

'Is she really trying that?' Ivan thought. All of the water on the ground shifted into steam. Steam is harder to control, but Gigi couldn't slide any more. He watched her fall to the ground and took the opportunity. He launched himself next to her, and used one foot to push her to the ground. He took the end of his trident and gently pressed it against her back. "Point" he said. "Give up yet?"

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

"And leave it as a tie?" Gigi bends down and swings her legs causing him to stumble. She grabs the chain still wrapped around Ivan spear and pulls him back up so that their faces are very close and smiles "Never." She pokes her sai at his chest, frees the chain from the spear and jumps back, "I'm not counting that as a point, so this one is game!!" She creates three tiny light balls and throws them at Ivan.

 

[Shog]

Ivan ducked to the side, her shot missing completely. "Don't give me that. You know full and well my shot would have been lethal. Right through your hart, and pulling it out with the trident." He made a pew slashes with the water, but she quickly dodged each one. 'Damn, I didn't want to do this. Ok, if I can disarm her for 5 minutes, in golden.'


Ivan held out his hands at Gigi and she stopped moving. It was illegal to mess with the form of water inside her body, but not use it to mover her. It was draining his energy quickly, and he forced her to open her grip enough as to make her drop her Sai. He quickly ran up to Gigi and kicked her away, snatched up her fallen weapons, and dove in the water. As to play more fair, he climbed out the other side. He did, however, create a giant ice barrier between the two of them.


(If you think is is unfair, tell me. However, he is exhausted by now from using that much energy.)

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi puts her hands on her hips and huffs at him "Okay now you are being a baby. Loose the shield and fight me like a man!" She was proud of his skills, but really running away... if she's gonna fight it's mano a mano. She looks a Wattle sitting patiently absorbed in their 'fight.' She sighs, "All right I concede.. Hello Ivan I'm conceding" She realizes that he cant hear her through the ice. She creates two large balls of light and minimizes them into two vibrating balls of energy. They release a lazer beam of light that cut a hole into the ice she leans closer. "Yo Ivan I concede. You win!!"A tiny light floats over to Ivan's face for her to see him.


(It's fine you balanced your powers perfectly. Good fight!!)

 

[Shog]

Ivan changed the ice back to water and slowly crossed back over. He politely handed Gigi back her sais, and then collapsed on the ground. His breathing was heavy and, even though he used power and not body for that last move, every muscle in his body was aching. "Good *pant pant* duel" Ivan said between breaths. He held up his thumb to show she did good. He just payed there until he had more energy, and sat up. "I held you for too long. It was a waste of energy. You could have won just by getting to the other side. Give me a few more minutes and we can head out."


(I'm am now convinced this was not your first time fighting. You preformed like an expert. And I would have give it to you if you had made it to him.)

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi pats Ivan on the back, "I know, but hey this isn't about winning. It's about leaning what you can do. I was holding back on some new things too."As Ivan asked for a few minutes, Gigi smiles "no need I'm all charged let me give you a purification pulse" Before Ivan said anything she raised her hands upwards soft white lights wafting around her small strand billowing around. Then she takes the vibrating power and shoots it at Ivan.

It enters into his body and fills him with renewed powers and strength. Gigi looking tired lead back and sits down next to Waddle. "So how do you feel?" Gigi says looking at Ivan.

 

[Shog]

Ivan instantly felt rejuvenated. "I feel great!" He exclaimed. "I feel like I could do another duel! But don't you dare. Anyway, don't do that too often. I can see this getting addicting fast. And how much of a tole did that use use on you?" He looked around and realized everything was still soaked. He pulled all the water back into the river.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi smiled "not as much of a tole as it used to, repetitive use really hammers down the effect." She gets up leaning on Wattle and smiles at Ivan, she then looks down at her shirt "I'm not feeling yellow anymore" She points at her shirt and it changes from yellow to a lovely rose pink. Her shoes also change to a light pink and smiles "I'm good just not fight worthy."

 

[Shog]

"Your plenty good in a fight, thought I suppose you just wanted me to say that out loud, huh?" Ivan said with a grin. "Anyway, I wish there was an easy way for me to practice. What I did, that eludes most 5th years. I think it's because no one ever wants to become the practice dummy. What I really need to do is target Kori, but if I do it before the arena he will be prepared. Oh well. You want to head back?"

 

[SkyFilms]

Wattle sat in the same spot quietly not wishing to interrupt the two fourth years after their miraculous duel. Which his mind could barely wrap itself around the entirety of it suspenseful and amazing. Through out the entire thing the two switched the role of best, they where a good match for one another. So he wished to leave them alone as much as possible his arms hugging his knees to his chest as he remained quiet allowing them to converse casually like the friends they where.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

"Kori will surely be a bigger challenge than me that's for sure. Keep all of your cards hidden and don't run out of power too fast. Use what you can first then bring out the energy sappers." Knowing from experience Gigi loved giving advice "remember wher they said in class manipulation first manifestation later." She smiles and raises her hands high to the ceiling. As Ivan asked if she was ready to go she responded with a "Yeah, sure why not? We can check out more of YOUR competition." Gigi stretches bending her spine all the way back till her hands touched the floor. She notices Waddle and smiles "did you enjoy our little sparring session?"

 

[SkyFilms]

Wattle looked up from the caves dust coated floor and up at Gigi nodding with a hidden smile,


"Definitely. Both of your skills are spectacular." He complimented before standing up himself, his cloak now somewhat dry.

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi does a back flip and smiles at Wattle "Awesome. Next time we'll see you in action" she gives him a wink. She turns to Ivan and puts the hand on her hips "So back the way we came? Or does the water group have a magic non wet portal?"

 

[Shog]

Ivan just grinned. "If there was a "magic non-wet-portal", don't you think more people would know about it? I'll be sure to dry you off good after we are out. And the trip out is shorter, so that should help." Ivan created two pieces of ice like before. "Your ride is ready when you are."

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi smiled and rolled her eyes "yeah I guess. But seriously you guys should think about it." She smiles and turns to Wattle "you ready for 2000 leagues under the sea part 2." She smiled and placed a hand on Wattle's shoulder.

Wattle bit his lower lip as he was submerged within the chill liquid. His grip on Gigi's shoulder tightened greatly until they reemerged above the water and he flung himself onto the ice gratefully. Letting out an exasperated phew, before fixing his hood.


"Thank you.."

 

[Shog]

"Ok, I promise we will be out before you know it!" shouted Ivan. they continued down the river until the cave celling was close. They were then submerged into the river. Ivan left his two companions with air pockets around their heads again, but knew it wouldn't last forever. He hurried them along and suddenly they were pushed into daylight. Using the rivers water, Ivan gently placed everyone on land and dried them off. "So, where too now?"

 

[The Suspicious Eye]

Gigi smiles at Wattle and nods as they submerge, When they resurface and land Gigi smiles brightly and says "Ooo lets go to the library again!! I bet there are so many students there now!!" She begins to hop around with excitement. "I bet that some of the freshman are there.. Aww they are so adorable!!" Gigi begins to daydream about tiny freshman looking like baby chicks.

Theo just noticing halo's other words of brother had just said in reply to that.


" I don't know if I am, I know I have siblings but unsure who they are."


Theo then went over twords the book shelf and grabbed a book off the shelf.
