Name: Takio Nakahara

Personality: Takio is usually well mannered and level headed. It takes a radical inner turmoil to break is demeanor. Takio tries to avoid the vices of money, women, and violence. Recently, though, the commands of lord Zawa have made him question whether it is more wrong to disobey his master or his intuition.


Weapon: Katana and tant?.


Other: Takio has 2 sons ages 8 and 10. When he is not following the orders of Lord Zawa he works as a clerk in the castle.

Name: Lord Zawa


Age: 56


Height: 5' 4"


Personality: Lord Zawa is a greedy and brutal man. He has become rich by heavily taking the peasants. He has overly lavish parties for every noble who comes though his region. These parties happen often due to Ch?bu's position between Edo and Osaka. Zawa enjoys eating, drinking, smoking, and women immensely. Whenever there is a peasant uprising he sends samurai to kill them. A group of samurai always accompanies the tax collectors because there is often trouble.


Weapon: Katana. His henchman do all the fighting.


Other: Zawa is paranoid and always keeps a heavy guard of samurai. Only the most loyal and strong may become his personal body guards.

Name: Hiroshi Tanaka


Age:35


Height: 6ft 2in


Appearance:

Personality:Has a joking and easy going demeanor which may come of as lazy or flippant. The fact he often gets drunk doesn't help with that image, however that hides a dedicated, loyal and brave man who would do what it takes for loved ones. He hated Lord Zawa with a passion after a long rival history with their family.


Weapon:Yumi, katana


Other:Has a wife and daughter both he hadn't seen for a long time. Would like to try one of those new Tanegashima and knows exactley to who to use on.

Name: Hanzo Mifune


Age: 32


Height: 6'0


Appearance:

Personality:He is an overall serious and honor bound man, he does not like jokes nor filth who take what they want when they want it one of the reason he decided not to serve Lord Zawa even if it cost him his life and honor. Contrary to this if he gets drunk it seems he complete throws his honor out of the window doing things he would never think himself doing luckily he doesn't drink to much.


Weapon: Nodachi


Other: He think he may have left it a bit late for child and can normally be seen looking at women and or flirting with them.

Personality: Iroh is one of the few that refuses to follow Lord Zawa. He prefers peace over warfare and believes more in the Pen than the sword. Iroh is sometimes a mysterious character, refusing to speak and sometimes speaking in riddles or haikus. He's a kind person overall and would not hesitate to protect someone if they are in need of help.


Weapon: Katana


Other: Iroh enjoys peace and silence. He dislikes those who drink, finding them annoying. When he isn't needed, he is usually found meditating. Iroh also enjoys the darkness, finding it an advantage to fight with and a place of peace and relaxation.

Name: Takeshi Daito (Family name, name. For those who are not familiar with Japanese naming)


Age: 32


Height: 5 feet 7 inches


Appearance(Description or an old picture.):

Personality: Daito is a loyal imperialist, who joined the ranks of the samurai early in his life. He always wanted to become the strongests, and dreamed of becoming a high ranking general sooner than any Samurai had ever become before him. He had always dreamed of committing Seppuku one day, as to further glorify his honor, and not die old and crippled.


At times Daito can seem a bit too honest and bold. Especially when talking to others.


Weapon(Don't go overboard with this. If you want something other then a katana you had better do some research.): Akahide (A combination of the two swords Daito and Shoto.)


Other: Daito is named after the longer sword, Daito by his father, as he was the oldest of two sons, both trained in the arts of swords by their father Yoshi, but at the age of 16 Shoto (the younger brother) was killed after falling off a cliff. Daito realized how easy a life can disappear, and after mourning over his brother, promised he would be a soldier for both of them. This also is the reason, he sometimes wield both a Shoto and a Daito at the same time in battle.

Name: Murakami Itsuki

Height: 5 feet 10 inches


Appearance: He has a lean, wolfish appearance that always seems to make him look like he is scheming something. He keeps his dark hair close cropped and is always well groomed.

Personality: A ronin from Satsuma roaming the land and looking for a worthy cause to serve, he is impulsive and somewhat inexperienced. He hides this inexperience behind the veneer of a tough veteran. He has a strong moral compass and always does what he thinks is best, which is what caused him to lose favour with his previous master, who was more than a little like Lord Zawa.


Weapon: He uses a standard daisho, katana and wakizashi, but like most samurai, is also trained in the use of the yumi bow.


Also, sorry if I'm a little late, but I just loved the idea of this RP!

Personality:Soft spoken and mild-mannered old man, who shows little emotion than kindly smile. He likes to act infirm, forgetting things, barely able to walk or see. This is though but an act as the old man is still pretty spry for his age and a capable fighter though passed him prime. A gregarious and charitable man, helping the peasants against Lord Zawa would be his last deed on this earth.

Name: Maeda Terao

Appearance :

Personality: Callous


Weapon: Daisho


Other: Born in Kyoto as a son of a retainer to a local Daimyo. His father was killed protecting his lord during a siege from a mob of peasants attacking for food and money. Afterwards he was adopted by the Daimyo and taught Bushido and the ways of a swordsman.


After years the Daimyo he had made enemies with the merchants in the town and had been blocking the trade both in and out of the lands. The lords and merchants had been plotting to assassinate the Daimyo by purchasing the actions of a ninja.


With the Daimyo dead Terao had to commit oibara, fearing for his life he fled from Kyoto and traveled as a ronin until he arrived in Tokyo where he met Lord Zawa who sworn him in as his personal bodyguard.
