He keeps his hair relatively short but still has enough hair to do some styling if he wants to. Junseo in general looks like the average dude and he doesn’t have any features that stand out. The only thing really going for him are his intense eyes. Not to mention the fact whenever his patron makes contact with him or uses her abilities one eye will turn a bright golden color matching his patron’s eyes.

    It was clear that she lived in the forest with these people, but she would never say where.
    She tells people about her experiences liberally up until a certain point. That's where she jumps in the story.
    She goes from her having a great time and loving her friends and family to moving to the city.
    Where she settled in and became a teacher.

    Alane has never told anyone why she left or why she came here.

    PERSONALITY

    Dmitri is the ice to his older brother's fire. A serrated steel edge; seemingly cool and unfeeling, with sharp, discerning grey eyes and cheekbones as high as his IQ. He isn't a complainer; due diligence and all burdens are carried and endured with a quiet sort of strength and acceptance that is rare to find.

    But most would be amiss to mistake Dmitri as meek; in reality, he's more stubborn than his older brother, especially when it comes to how he does things. Dmitri is brisk, and he is all about business. He doesn't dwell on his emotions and doesn't show them, and strives to carry out tasks as efficiently and accurately as possible. Responsibility and resolve to achieve results runs through his veins.

    Like any true scholar, Dmitri suffers from high standards for himself, and seems to base self worth in the results he achieves. Uptight asshole is usually the impression he gives off, despite the fact that in reality, he's constantly doubting himself. He suffers from a streak of workaholism and would much rather spend his days cooped up in his moratorium, scalpel in hand than go out partying or maintaining a decent social life.

    On the bright side, Dmitri is extremely thoughtful and not quick to judgment or harsh emotion. When it comes to his necromancy, his conscientiousness shines through; in the way he handles the bones of the deceased, the way he takes thorough care of the bodies and harbors his spells.
    Despite his aloofness, Dmitri's patience is also seemingly infinite; paired with his eloquence and knowledge and you get the perfect recipe for an authoritative, teacherly nature that has proven quite useful to taming his wild card of an older twin brother.

    But of course, authority is a tricky landscape, and Dmitri often can't help but subconsciously act like he's the parent all the time, especially to those he cares about. An obligation to make better decisions for them, survey them, even control them, rather than letting himself to back down and allow those closest to him to take responsibility and find independence for themselves.



    POWERS

    Dmitri is brilliant, but by all accounts human, just like his father was. His necromancy is less magic and more of a science that he's cultivated off the tireless lifetime research of his late father, to accomplish what he couldn't and continue his legacy. As of now, he's only ever managed to bring back a small array of little creatures with relative ease, using an ancient practice called bone magick; a ritual involving specific subset of bones and chemicals to bring the creature back from the dead.


    BIOGRAPHY

    Dmitri's first encounter with death was the moment he had entered into this life, seven minutes after his brother. It came and went like a shadow with a gleam in it's eye and a pocket full of bad deals. Two for the price of one; their mother breathed her last breath, leaving her beloved to face the grieving wrath of her werewolf clan, with two illegitimate offspring in tow.

    Alec Shakirov was in truth, as craven as he was intolerably a human "puppet" for the Kremlin. The wolves had it out for him, and in response, he ran for his life with his sons, leaving behind a promising career in the Russian government's scientific division for the town of Edgewater, United States.

    Dmitri and his older brother celebrated their sixth birthdays in a grand, old Victorian-era mansion just outside of Greenwich Hills, estranged and alienated in a strange and alien country.
    Life in the beginning was quite comfortable; Dmitri enjoyed the homeschooling sessions his father set up for them, though thanks to the demands of his new job as Director and Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Bioinformatics at the university of Edgewater, he often left that job to various tutors. They would come and go like the seasons, driven off by Val's antics and troublesome, adrenaline-addled behaviour. And like any good little devil of an older brother, he'd sit on Dmitri's shoulder and convince him to play along, especially when the tutor in question was crappy to them both.

    Around ages 9 to 10, Val and Dmitri began to attend real school. Dmitri's incredible intelligence and passion in the sciences were plain to see right off the bat. He was praised for it by teachers and peers alike, but the one person he always strived to please never seemed to take notice of his achievements. Their father was becoming a husk of himself, sacrificing every waking hour to his work, which seemed less and less to be about his job as a professor of the university and more about his nightly activities in the lower levels of the mansion.

    Then, he discovered her.

    He wasn't supposed to, of course. At that point, the only reason he'd be allowed to go down to his father's workspace was to deliver the countless breakfasts and lunches he'd forgotten to eat. His father disliked his sons loitering around, or eavesdropping, but one night, Dmitri broke those rules and stayed to watch in adoration.

    It was a gruesome sight. A mutilated body, half finished, stitches running across spliced limbs and torso, strapped to an operating table. Various organs poking out, and others laid out expertly in bins, a vast array of surgical tools, microscopes, and chemical analysis equipment spread all over the place. Some books and half finished notes were stacked haphazardly in different corners of the room. All in all, it was not the lair of a mild-mannered professor of the sciences, but a raving mad scientist.

    And Dimitri was utterly hooked.

    PERSONALITY

    Valentin and his younger twin brother may share the same face, but they are two entirely different faces of the same coin.
    For one, Val's a loose cannon; deviously unpredictable in his manner of thinking and doing, and he likes to keep it that way. Keep them guessing, keep moving and you keep all the wrong people off your tail. Possessing a natural tendency towards disregard for rules and conventions, trouble follows Val wherever he goes. And though he can put on quite a convincing innocent puppy act, it's plain to see that mischief is where the young werewolf finds his mirth, and in most cases, his money.

    Val isn't afraid to go big or go home; after all, the higher the risk, the higher the reward. He'll go out of his way to get what he wants, and when it comes to the game, he intends to win. Instinct is what underlies his every action, and he follows it with an almost religious zeal.

    Val is no churchmouse by any means either; his pride and confidence often walk hand in hand, culminating into a sort of exuberant, rowdy charm that people can't help but notice and even join in on. Fiery, playful and passionate, Val cracks jokes as easily as he cracks noses, and often barks louder than he can bite. Commitment is a word he doesn't really use often, and his cases of puppy love can change with the season. Admittedly, formulas and four-page essays were never his forte, but Val's managed to find a suitable replacement: street smarts. Shrewd awareness of how to succeed and survive in the worst of situations, because he's lived through them.

    The irony is not lost on Val; he really is nothing like an oldest child of a long-lost mighty clan of werewolves should be. But maybe, just maybe, this time around, that's a good thing.

    Lycanthropy | Val is a werewolf, just like his mother. However, thanks to his diluted blood, he isn't able to stay long periods at a time in his wolf form. He usually slips into it in the evenings and nights and likes to hunt, bring back animal bones for his brother at his request. Of course, his wolf form is also used as a trump card, or a last resort when it comes to beating someone's ass, or even saving his own at times from unsavory situations.

    Abilities
    Kaian is able to produce fire or heat from any part of his body in human form and control said fire or heat. He is not able to control other fire or heat unless he is touching it directly. Sometimes, when he is feeling a strong emotion and isn't controlling himself correctly, fire can randomly spurt from a random place in his body--he used to accidentally burn his clothes a lot growing up.

    Kaian is also able to shape shift between his true, elemental from and human form at will. When in elemental form, his powers are much stronger and his fire is much hotter. He can control its spread as well, such as its direction and how fast it goes. He is not able to control how hot it gets. He is also able to control his own body's shape in elemental form, as he is entirely made out of fire. His size when in elemental form varies, and usually depends on how strong his abilities are--this is determined by things such as the weather, his emotions, if he's been taking care of his health, etc.

    Even with Kaian giving in and working in the family, his years of opposition to the business is something Kannon will never forget. Even if he continues to do well, Kaian knows it will never be enough to satiate the disappointment his father has for someone with a lack of drive and motivation--someone who only complains, but "lacks any solution to his own 'issues'". Sometimes he wonders if it's not the fact that Kaian doesn't want to be a welder that is dissapointing to Kannon, but the fact that Kaian is just failure in general. There have been moments where it feels like Kannon might understand, but it's always fleeting.

    Far more talented at glass sculpting, and actually enjoys it. She's not exactly passionate, but she doesn't hate it, and has never been opposed to it--Brielle has always known what she wants and even got to go to college. They're not as close nowadays, although he used to adore her. She still treats him like a baby sometimes.
    Kaian comes from a family that has been in Edgewater for quite a few generations--in fact, the family's glass studio is one of the larger tourist attractions in the city. Using their gift of fire, the Walkers began their studio, [/i]Walking on Glass[/i], making stained glass for (mainly) churches, and selling intricate glass sculptors far beyond their time.

    Despite the abundance of fame and fortune that they've gained, WG has never one decided to open up more than one shop and studio, is known for turning down interviews, and rejecting fame in general, beyond getting costumers. Their prices are also notably affordable, something that also puts them on the map--accessibility to and for everyone. They are very selective of staff, meaning it's hardly anyone outside of family working at WG, but what that also means is that family members hardly have a choice when it comes to their future. This is something Kaian has been painfully aware of ever since his childhood.

    Don't get it wrong--sure, even he was fascinated by his own family's work, and when he was in a phase where he would copy everything his older sister does, welding was all he wanted to do. He wasn't half bad, either.

    Still, even if he didn't always hate it, being forced and denied his own wishes for the future eventually resulting in him resenting all of it. Just being inside the studio can feel suffocating nowadays. Although he tried to hide it at first, he also is very expressive about his feelings to his family, whether or not the conversation is productive.

    There's just one issue with his resentment: Kaian has nothing else to turn to. For years, glass was all that was shoved down his throat. There was no room for anything else to explore, his parents made sure of that. Sure, maybe he could've snuck some things in, but there's just been nothing that Kaian has been pulled to aside from spending time with his friends, the only people that didn't make him feel forced to do anything. Whatever they wanted to do, he wanted to do, because it was just relieving enough to spend time with them.

    Now at 21, with no interests, and no talents, Kaian is working at the glass studio of the ever so famous WG, along with his parents, grandparents, sister, and some extended family. Ever since he's graduated high school, it feels like everyone has been far too busy living their own lives--whether or not that lead them to a college out of Edgewater, or to the local university, or even working themselves, they all had things keeping them busy with whole new social circles. All of them, except for him, who stays in the studio with the same people he was raised by, with little chance to meet anyone knew.

    Every day, it feels like a little bit of himself is being chipped away.

    Kind
    Kaian has always been a sweet guy. He's understanding and always ready to help others, even at his own expense. He's honest with both himself and others. Kaian is also admirably patient and doesn't lose his temper easily, and if he wants something, he could probably wait forever--this is less a result of his own virtue and more from being used to putting his own wants on the backburner. In fact, this also resulted in him being as flexible as he is. When most things don't work out, one eventually learns to be adaptable to cope with it.

    Observant
    Although he isn't the smartest person you'll meet, Kaian certainly has a knack for catching most things around him. He's very observant, both with people and his surroundings. It's rare for anything to get past him, and it only adds to his already attentive personality.

    Athletic
    Despite him wishing he had a talent or passion, there is no denying his aptness for sports. He won't be joining the Olympics any time soon, but Kaian could probably run faster than your average joe (running home after sneaking out), and has a decent amount of physical strength.

    Loyal
    When Kaian grows attached to someone, there is no turning back. Even when time passes and they grow apart, just call him and it'll be like you've never stopped talking. Especially because how much he wants to be accepted because of his family life, he is almost a little too eager to show his gratitude and dedication to those that build a bond with him. Still, it's not as though he'll be loyal to just anyone--you'd have to break through that surface level connection, first.

    Charismatic
    The origin of most of Kaian's surface level connections. He's a charismatic guy who gets along with most people he meets, and enjoys having fun with others however he can--whether or not he can really enjoy and be himself around others dictates if he views someone as a real friend. Not a small list, but the criteria is harder to meet than one would think. Still, Kaian has never had issues or drama growing up, and also can be a bit of a class clown at times.
    Vices​
    Immature
    Even if his home life is difficult, that doesn't change that his family is pretty well off, and with how controlling they are, Kaian has never really been given the chance of being independent. Everything has been smooth sailing aside from figuring out what to do with his life--so, it's not much of a surprise that Kaian grew to be a little spoiled. He isn't vain and is far from bratty, but he's not used to dealing with problems beyond personal emotional conflict, has never cooked a day in his life, and still relies on his parents for pretty much everything. This is mostly what contributes to him being immature; he doesn't always know how to set aside his feelings for logic, and is honestly never easy to talk to when he gets worked up.

    Unforgiving
    Another result of Kaian's immaturity is his unforgiving nature. He holds grudges for pretty much everything and is the type to still be upset after the issue has been completely resolved. He may be patient, but once he's gets upset about something, it can be hard for him to let it go.

    Apathetic
    With a lack of personal interest for anything in life, Kaian ended up being pretty apathetic and detached in most situations. He doesn't empathize easily, nor does he grow attached easily, This is also a result of how everything he took a slight interest in growing up was stripped away--nothing felt permanent and he's lost his own direction for years, so at this point, it feels like a fantasy to have any likes of his own. Even if he tries, he just can't make himself. This also results in him being very pessimistic; apathy is partly a coping mechanism for him feeling like nothing will really work out.

    Uptight
    Even if he doesn't have a positive relationship with them, there is no denying the stick up Kaian's ass inherited from his parents. Rules have to be followed and when he works on something, it should be done to the best of his ability--slacking around when people are trying to get work down is wrong, and etiquette might as well be the same as morals. He tends to be pretty judgmental because of this rigidness of his, and when he disapproves of someone, can get pretty unnecessarily harsh with his words. On the off change he's managed to be angered--well, no one is safe from whatever comes out of his mouth.

    Insecure
    With his strict upbringing and his failure to meet up to his family's expectations, Kaian grew to be pretty insecure in himself and his capabilities. He second guesses himself a lot and thinks poorly of himself for not having much direction in life, and tends to crave validation from those he likes. This also is what creates his competitive nature, because it feels as though being anything less than the best at something is just plain failure. He's always comparing himself to others, so at times, it can feel like everything is a competition with him.
