im curious...

if Im a mortal servant of a death lord and a eclipse caste visits my lords holdings... am I bound too?

or do the fair folk, demons, death lords, etc, have no choice but to honor the oaths... or do they just suffer some hideous curse if they do?

The pact covers Spirits, Demons, and the Fair Folk.  The Deathlords are free to kick the Eclipse to the curb if they so choose.  The mortal is best to follow his masters lead, a mortal attacking a Solar Exalt isn't likely to end well for the mortal.

AFter all it would have been kind of hard for 1st Age eclipses to forge the ancient pacts with the Deeathlords, as they didn't exist yet.

yes... but I think it mentions them somewhere in it...

Must be the pact was made with the MALFEANS.

Also... I noticed the Moonshadow caste are NOT mentioned as having diplomatic immunity.

nope, not in the 1E core, or the 2E core.

Just like always.  Although the majority of powers in the Underwold will treat them like they do, as to not miss off their masters.

it makes sense that Moonshadow Castes wouldn't get the same diplomatic immunity seeing as they've never forged bonds with the spirits, Fair Folk, etc... But I would think they should have some sort of immunity with the powers in the Underworld, even if nothing is said in canon I'd still give them at least that

The Deathlords are Solars, so they can do whatever they please, although it's not clear to me if Eclipses would know that.

On a related note, does an Ecplipse have to identify himself to gain the benefist of his immunity or do spirits, etc. automatically know the person is an Eclipse Caste?

Do any other Exalts have a similar ability?

Thanks!  Some nice thoughts.

Are deathlords covered by the immunity?  I don't see why they would be; they're Solars who sold themselves to the Malfeans, and I don't see how the US would negotiate a deal with the Malfeans since they have nothing more to lose.  The Yozis, Creation spirits, and Fair Folk make sense, but I'm not sure of the Underworld.

Actually, I don't see why they *wouldn't* be. As far as I know, ghosts are affected aren't they?

Even discounting that, they should be, by application of the Law of Association as their power is derived from the Neverborn. Maybe even the Law of Contagion, if one counts the Deathlords bound to their Neverborn masters in a more profound and decidedly arcane manner (After all, why would the Neverborn make the same "mistake" as the Gods, allowing servants of their own making to have even the slightest chance of redemption).
