Futuristic E.S.C.A.P.E. - Experimental Secure Containment Act of Protecting Earth

Shadowborn Omen

A White Wolf
The E.S.C.A.P.E. Facility; 2064 feet below sea level

Kai focused, as he was halfway done with cutting the bar on the front of his cage. As soon as he cut through the bar, he could reach out and pick the lock and get out of his cage. He looked across the isle at Irota's cage, Irota's eyes intent on the bar. Both of the young boys had been working on this escape plan for months, and the plan was about to spring into action.

The... Creature... In the cage next to Kai realized what he was doing, and and started shaking uncontrollably and screaming "
ESCAPE! ESCAPE!". Kai tried to ignore the screaming, because he was almost through the bar, and the lock shouldn't be too hard.

'
Just a little bit further...' Kai thought to himself. Then, the thick metal doors connecting the containment room with the rest of the facility began to close. Kai didn't let this startle him, he kept cutting. Suddenly, the door on the inside of Kai's cage suddenly shut, knocking the file out of Kai's hand and blocking his ability to touch the bar. The chance of escape was lost.

Kai felt his cage being picked up, and feared what would happen to him as it was being carried away. He was set down and the metal door slid open, a thin pole quickly shooting in and wrapping it's metal arms around his neck, the metal stud sending electrical outbursts into his neck, shocking him to the bone.

"
Well Kai. Trying to get out of your cage again? Have you forgotten? This is E.S.C.A.P.E."

Hi, I'm Kai. You must be one of the new arrivals here at E.S.C.A.P.E., the Experimental Secure Containment Act of Protecting Earth. You're probably confused, so let me tell you what this is about. In case you've forgotten, because the anesthetic does that, it's currently the year 2033. Twelve years ago, in the year 2021, scientists started experimenting on human test subjects. They did many things to augment these people, who were hardly people anymore. Many of them came out with physical deformities or as mental vegetables. However, they had many successful test subjects as well. Some were augmented with the DNA of animals, and some were augmented with other serums altering their DNA in other odd ways. However, five years into these tests, one of the subjects broke out and escaped. However, he didn't get out alone, he unlocked all of the other cages in the process, causing a massive break out of the testing facility. Ever since that day, these subjects were hunted down and put into E.S.C.A.P.E., a facility the scientists had just finished building but were testing for hazards. E.S.C.A.P.E. is exactly like the previous facility, only with a couple hundred million dollars more in security. Oh, also, it's two-thousand feet underground, having only one elevator to go up or down in the facility.

So, now that you know what this facility is, let me tell you: They'll be easy on you at first, but they're get worse and worse until they end up killing you. So, what do you say?

Will you escape with me?

The E.S.C.A.P.E. Facility; 2064 feet below sea level

There are some things in this paragraph that I know that no security is dumb enough to do, such as the buttons at the end, but just bear with it.

The scientists set Kai's cage down in it's normal spot, making sure he didn't have anything to saw through the bars this time. Kai looked out of his cage at Irota, defeated. Their plan failed before it even really took off, and now Kai would be on strict security for a while, and wouldn't be able to try again for at least a couple of months. Kai went to lay on his back, knowing far too well that the cage wasn't long enough for that, so he ended up just leaning against the back of the cage. Since Kai had tried a breakout, most of the security had been transferred to his cage block, to make sure he, or anyone else, had finished the job.

Suddenly, there was a commotion from the North cell block. Kai was in the South, so the North one was the furthest from him. If there was something going on in there, the bulk of security would move up there. He waited, hoping to see the security start to walk (or run) towards the other cell block. He heard security control through a walkie-talkie of one of the security guards. There had been another attempted breakout in the North cell block. The subject hadn't been subdued, but the North cell block was locked off. The head security guard for the South sector (also known as the "head South") told the excess security to go make sure nothing got out of hand. The head South was known for cruelty, but making sure no breakouts were to happen. He radioed for control to turn on concussive waves in the North sector. The head North nervously agreed, he was a little less quick-witted.

Concussive waves are basically repetitive sound waves that come out of specially designed speakers in the walls, and every time one hits you, your head feels like it's being crushed. Each speaker pumps about ten out each second, and there's a speaker every seven or eight feet (both up and down, left and right) in a room about 600 feet long and 300 feet wide. Everything in there, security and subjects alike, were getting hit by these concussive waves, and some of them would have a headache for a week.

Now, mind you, there is usually only one attempted breakout a week, on good months there's only one per month. Two in a day is almost heard of. Let alone three.

With all of the security either moving towards North block or distracted with what was going on, Kai started looking for a way out of his cage. He looked at the bar that he originally tried to saw through. Of course they replaced it, but lucky for Kai, extremely lucky for Kai, they didn't decide to weld it with the cross-bars. He didn't think twice, he put his hands against the back of his cage, and with his extreme strength, kicked the bar out.

Once Kai was out , the first thing he did was run over to Irota's cage. Irota has these invisible arms that are strong enough to stop bullets... However, if there was any pressure against Irota's cage, an airborne shock is administered to Irota, which is the only thing that can stop his arms from functioning. Kai looked at Irota, gave him a nod, and ripped the bars off. Irota's cage wasn't built to resist Kai's strength, so that was an easy task.

Irota, after shaking off the shock, got out. He and Kai looked around, seeing nothing but guards looking at them with taser guns. Basically, they're guns that shoot self-contained taser rounds, build not to penetrate more than a millimeter, then shock with enough power to knock just about anyone out.

The guards didn't hesitate, they started shooting their tasers. Irota's arms blocked them, none of them being able to penetrate the unknown invisible substance that the arms were made of. Kai sprinted towards a closing door, he knew once that door was closed he wasn't getting out and concussive waves were going to pound everything in the Southern block. Kai wasn't too far away from them to begin with, and because of how big they were, they took a while to get down. Kai hit the deck and rolled, making it under the door just before it shut.

(To speed things up, I'm going to make this less detailed.) Kai got to the central security door. He hit a couple security guards with the door, and ran in behind it before any of the security knew what happened. He grabbed a taser gun off of one of the downed guards. He span, and shot a volley of taser shots at the guards, hitting all but two, whom Kai smashed their heads together before they could get their bearings. This took all-in-all about 3 seconds.

Kai walked up to the control desk, and clicked the button for massive cell unlock. This unlocked all of the cells in all of the blocks (convenient, huh?), but first shut and locked all of the security doors, including air vents and food shafts. This basically unlocked all of the cages, but sealed the cell blocks off from being able to be opened, air-tight. However, conveniently, there's a button for when all of the subjects have been contained, where the doors will unseal. This button was pressed next.

They really should think about the buttons they put in these security rooms. Kai thought as all of the cages began to open, unleashing all of the subjects on his floor of the facility.

No rhyme. No reason. No stress. No rhyme. No reason. No stress. No rhyme. No reason. No stress.

This was the mantra Reza kept up as she sat in her sound proof box with six inch titanium exterior. In here she only heard her own breathing, as not even her movements allotted much noise. If she stayed completely still, white noise took over.

Due to her not being able to hear the commotion outside from one of her neighbors she was not prepared for the onslaught of sound as her door, which normally slide open slowly, quickly opened, allowing all the outside noise to attack her senses. Instantly she was on all fours, climbing out her cage, panting as she adjusted to sudden noise. It took only her a moment to get her bearings and realize what's going on. The second she did, she realized this was her last chance.

Her jaw unhinged and her human flesh was pushed back to make way for the reptilian maw. Her fingers broke, being replaced by thick skinned claws. Her back arched and cracked as she let out a vicious roar. She took off, bounding down the halls she had memorized like the back of her hand, bouncing off the wall and rebounding around startled scientists.

It was faint, but she could smell it, the fresh smell of non chemical air. It was close. Freedom was close.

The guy across the hall to the left was sawing at his cell bars, as his neighbor screamed. "Escaaape! Escaaape!" The creature wailed.

"Close your jolly, Stas, don't you want to be free?"

Alyxa got up from her push-ups and threw her hair from her brown eyes which sparkled with excitement, then sat on her bed. This is going to be interesting, Alyxa thought.

But, just as she had prepared herself for action, the door in front of his cell closed and she could hear the cage creaking away in the tunnels of the prison.

A rush of disappointment came over her, there was no chance. Fate seemed cruel. The attempt had gotten her hopes up, but now they were launched back down.

The world seemed gray, there was no hope, no way to freedom.

Alyxa realized that eventually she'd be killed. Weather by the worsening experiments and tests, or when they'll have no more use for her. That'll clear room for another child, taken from his family to undergo torture.

Alyxa picked up a fork from the eaten food tray and chucked it at Stas, which yelled in anger. He tried to throw it back, but it landed in the hallway.

Tucking herself into bed, exercises forgotten, she fell into a dreamless sleep on the hard mattress.

When Alyxa woke up, she felt wide awake and refreshed. As she bent down to do her daily quota of pushups, a male normal looking young human wolf-whistled. He looked about nineteen.

"Aw, shut up Mcnee, you pervert!" Alyxa snarled at him, but blushed.

Bending back down for the exercise, she began to work out, grunting with the effort once in a while.

The air was stuffy and hot, the air conditioning had been left on for too long. Dripping with sweat, Alyxa wiped herself with the neck of her shirt and kept working.

Kai and his cage were back, but apparantly the weak bar was replaced with another weak bar, as he kicked it out, freed a friend, and bolted.

Oh no, not more sound shocks! Alyxa thought. Her extra set of sensitive ears made her head bust with pain every time.

But then, all the doors were unlocked. Sprinting around the corridors, she was lost. People were fighting guards, on the floor being shocked by guards, wrecking anything in sight and causing general mayhem. Bounding around bodies, Alyxa eventually turned a corner and literally ran into a guard. They both fell on the ground and rolled. Punching into the air, she connected with his chest.

Finding herself on the top, Alyxa punched the guard's stomach repeatedly. Receiving a punch in the face, she rolled and got up, gave his ribs a last kick and shouted, "Experiment on me, will you!". Alyxa ran away, mopping her bloody nose.

Then, she saw Kai! The hall went in a T, and she was about to continue running, but she saw him in the corner of her eye.

"Kai! Hey Kai!" Alyxa yelled.

Blood was running down Alyxa's chest and face and was being absorbed by her bra and shirt, which were getting sticky. Damn, this guy had big hands. Looking at herself, Ally noticed taser holes she hadn't felt on her pants. Ah, shit. I look half dead and feel nothing, hehe...

Zack lazily tapped at one of the bars of his cell. Every three seconds, he'd tap. And he never stopped as long as he was trapped in the cell. From down the hall of cells, he heard the Wolf whistle and someone call out, but he ignored that, as he usually does. His neighbours hate him, but he constantly ignored them, knowing they can't do jack to get him. There was some Ruckus from down the hall, and zack ignored it. He guessed it was another escape attempt that would fail miserably and screw everyone else In the cell block over. A minute later, and zacks tapping stopped. He had nothing to tap because the door was open.

Seeing that all the cages were open, zack decided it would be wise to get away from his neighbours before they could grab him. One of the guards happened to be running by at that moment, so zack nailed him in the face and ran in the same direction the hybrid was. She literally ran into a guard, so Zack just ran past. Leaving her to fight the guy.

She sat there with a blank expression. The sounds of electricity buzzing echoed off of her softly. The only noise she could hear in this unbreakable glass cage. Everything else on the outside was soundproof and muffled. Her hands and arms were compressed together with a metal bracelet, along with another one to match around her ankles. Out of all the other experiments, she was the one placed in a cage such as this. Well, it's wasn't even a cage. More like a glass box.

Eve wriggled her toes and stared at them with an expressionless gaze. There was a sudden movement outside of the large glass box. She flicked her burning orange eyes upwards to see scientists beginning to run around frantically. Men with shock guns and other weapons ran by as well, disappearing down the long hallway. With struggling effort, Eve managed to stand up onto her feet and walk forward. She peered through the thick, bulletproof glass in hope of seeing something more. If there was a breakout going on, the last thing the experiments would want to do is turn around and search for the other experiments still locked up.

Like her.

Whatever tricks the scientists had up their sleeves, this was one of them. She was marked 'quarantined' the moment they found out what her ability was. As a result, they placed her in a box with no doors. Only a small hole to pass food through. The scientists began to disappear one by one in search of the escaped experiments. Two security guards dressed in full body armor and rifles stood in front of her glass box, ready to attack anything. The hope of escaping fell from Eve's heart like a loose leaf on a tree branch. She stared longingly outside, and pressed a hand against the thick glass. It was ice cold to the touch.

Backing away now, Eve plopped back down onto the hard floor, and closed her eyes. She silently hoped someone... anyone would come up to this part of the facility. Even if it was the opposite way from the elevator. Just for her.

The E.S.C.A.P.E. Facility; 2064 feet below sea level

Kai stepped out of the central security door and saw what his actions had done. The test subjects were everywhere, some guards were fighting... Well, trying to fight... While most were fleeing to the best of their abilities. A select few began emerging from the mass of people. He recognized Alyxa, they had a couple of encounters here and there. She looked like he had just received a truck to the face, but she was shouting his name, so she was probably okay. He was Irota, he was holding his own. Kai turned down the hallway, towards the elevator. He got to a T in the hall, he turned left, knowing that the elevator was down that way somewhere, but there was a massive block of guards there, all weapon-ready. He grinded to a halt, and took a few steps back to avoid the barrage of taser-rounds heading his way. He put his back against the corner and looked back at the subjects who were rebelling in his cell block. He waved them to him.

"Come on guys! We have to go now!" He screamed, knowing far too well that not many would be able to hear him. He was pointing in the opposite direction of the elevator, because there was a sharp turn as soon as you went down that way, so you could avoid the gunfire. He had never been on that side of the facility, but there was bound to be something back there that could help him, and the others, get out.

Whilst running another scent found it's way to her. Gunpowder. It was just a small whiff but she could find it. Though guns were useless to her, they could help others. Trucking down the hall she heard shouts. As she rounded a corner she faced Kai, Irota and Alyxa. She roared to get their attention and hoped they would follow her to the scent of what might be weaponry.

Continuing on, she faced a pair of guard who shouted at her to stand down before firing their guns. They fact that they were using real weapons meant that whatever they were guarding was dangerous. Reza didn't care. She jumped, barreling into one man before getting shot in the haunch. She whirled around to face the man and take his arm in her giant, toothy jaws before tossing him out of the way. She sniffed the wall before hitting a small hole. She didn't know the scent, meaning she didn't know the person. She did, however, know a cage. She spun, whipping her tail at the glass over and over before it shattered.

She stalked inside toward whoever it was she couldn't see. After reaching a yard of the person, she decided she would not kill them and ran from the room, back on the hunt for the weapons that she knew was near, regardless of leaving the guards guns on the ground behind her.

There was a series of bullets shot from outside of the glass. Each piercing noise sounded like a muffled bottle pop. Eve watched the whole scene play out in front of her quietly. The human creature snapped its jaws around one of the guards arms and threw him away like a ragdoll. The other guard... well, his life hadn't ended so well. Their guns tumbled to the floor beside their lifeless bodies. The creature began padding towards her cage now. Eve saw its nostrils flare, seemingly picking up her unknown scent. All of a sudden, the creature began swinging its tail violently at the glass box. Cracks ran down the glass like a spiders web. Eve was standing now, backing away as the creature continued to pound at the thick glass.

And then... the soundless void accompanying Eve for so long finally shattered into pieces. A flood of noise flowed into her ears, reawakening a part of her she had forgotten about. Before she allowed the feeling of hope to overwhelm her, she watched as the creature began making its way inside of the broken box. It had a ferocious gleam in its eyes, but seemed to have no motive in killing the girl before it. The creature spun around in a whirlwind of feet, and burst into a sprint on all fours. For a moment, Eve stared at the exit way in front of her. It had been years since she had set foot outside of her cage. It almost felt inhuman to leave.

With a single step, Eve's toes pressed against the broken shards of glass. The crunching sound underneath her feet was like heaven. Too long had it been since she heard other noises besides muffled voices. The metal clasps on both of her wrists and ankles jingled loudly with each footstep forward. Unfortunately, the braces prevented her from moving any faster than an old dog diseased with arthritis in its bones. She slowly walked towards the computers, already beginning to feel her brain connect to the signal in hot waves. Eve pressed the palm of her hand against the screen, feeling her heart begin to pulsate faster and faster as the electricity flowed through her. With a soft click and the sound of pressure releasing, the cuffs on her ankles and wrists unhooked. They fell to the ground in a heap of chains.

Eve took a moment to stretch out the muscles where the braces used to be. Without the heavy weigh of the clasps, she felt somewhat human again. Now getting into action, she picked up one of the rifles next to the guards and ran out into the hallway.

Conner hadn't heard anything, trying to think through the scrambling of his mind. It was probably better he couldn't think, seeing as how it would make it easier to escape, and though he wanted to, he didn't want the chance to make the same mistakes again. He probably wouldn't have even noticed the opening of the cage door if his thoughts hadn't suddenly come crashing down on him. His head snapped to the cage door, open in a way he was pretty share it shouldn't be. It acted as a window into the utter chaos outside the safety of his cage.

He wanted to think before he leaped, but by the time he was satisfied in his decision he was already halfway through the hall, dodging the bodies of others as he went. He didn't see anyone, but he somehow heard one voice through them all saying they had to go.

Whoever it is is probably right, he decided, and upon seeing Kai was glad that he had at least trusted his instincts this once, sliding into place in the back of the group.

The E.S.C.A.P.E. Facility; 2064 feet below sea level

Kai watched as a small group of subjects made their way out of the horde of fighting people. Most of them were still making their way up towards him, but one reptilian-headed subject ran past him and down the hall and into a room. Kai could see the next events through the doorway, as the reptilian girl took out two guards with brutal force and no mercy, and smashed a glass box with a young girl in it. After a brief pause, the reptilian hybrid turned and ran further down the hallway and Kai lost sight of her. The box girl, that Kai could now see had glowing strips going all over, walked over to the terminal obviously controlling her binds, and touched the monitor. With that simple movement, her cuffs clicked off and she was free. She picked up a guard's weapon and looked ready to fight.

Interesting... I wonder how they got her to do that... Kai thought to himself, but stopped pondering her powers as he realized he needed to move the small group fast if he wanted to get him, or any of them, out successfully. He looked down the hallway that the reptilian girl ran down, she looked like she was going after something, maybe it would help them get out. He looked back at the group.

"Come on, we're going!" He yelled, starting to run down the hallway in the opposite direction of the guards, but not at his full speed so the others could follow. There was a slight curvature in the hallway, so once Kai got a few feet down it the guards couldn't even see him. He got to the end of the hallway, where there was, instead of a slight curve, a sharp 90 degree turn. He looked down both sides to make sure no guards were there. He saw the reptilian girl not too far down. He turned to make sure the group was following before he went any further.

Sitting on the ceiling of her cage Natsu hummed a happy tune. She didn't know the words, she simply heard it form one of the doctors, while he was increasing the water pressure. Still humming she heard a commotion from the cells around her. She leaned on the bars trying to peak at what was happening. "Is it another break out?! Ooo I hope so those are always exciting!! People rushing around and lots of shouting, too!" She leaned in closer and closer to the bars until suddenly the bars flew up. Natusu began to tumble to the ground, suddenly she stopped a cm from hitting the floor. Floating there for a second she flipped to the right wall and stood up straight.

She looked around people were fighting left and right She walked further up the wall, avoiding the fighting and crazed escapees. She was sliding up the wall. She needed to find her boots, corestone and gloves. Leaving the right side of the wall she pushed her self off floating over toward wall after wall till she reached the hallway. Floating over the vast chaos, Natsu made her way to "her" section of the laboratories. She usually had to be ushered to them with guards and other scientists. She floated through the halls till she reached where her battle gear was. All the doors were oddly open and the halls were eerily quiet. She entered into the room and reached for her boots first. Putting them on she stuck to the ceiling "Well that's more comfortable." She shifted her gravity to normal and landed on the flood with a shooop, as her sticky boots kept her on the ground. She grabbed her gloves and placed them on her hands. Finally she grabbed her core stone, which allowed her to focus her gravitational energy.

Natsu looked around for the doctors who were studying her. She couldn't find anyone, there was some red stuff on the floor, but she didn't know what it was. Having all her gear she made her way back out the hall and tried to see if she would meet someone she knew. Looking around she began to wander in a direction. Suddenly she heard shouts and turned to the noise "People?!" She began to skip toward the voices, her boots making popping sounds as she skipped towards them.

(Open to whoever)

Alyxa saw the alligator kill the poor guards. She also saw an untouched gun. Seizing her chance, Ally remembered how the guards used it: Shoulder the gun before firing.

With a slightly bloodied face, a weapon, and a lot of determination, Alyxa looked like she knew what she was doing and managed to gather a few people. She tried to tell them she knew nothing about the place, but, strength is in numbers, they said.

Turning a bend, they ran yelling into an enpty laboratory. Computer towers were connected to various instruments. Running through it,they emerged in the hall. But, there was also a girl in the hall. She had fancy gear on, Alyxa was unsure who she was. Feeling professional now with an M16, she began looking for answers.

"Put your hands up and behind your head! Who are you and what side are you on?!" She yelled, as she shook the weapon.

Moscow was sitting in his heated cage, contemplating life. Still, there wasn't much time to be a philosopher when he could escape. The cage door swung open and in an instant, Moscow spring out. He iced the floors to make a quick escape, but three guard stood in his way. Fortunately none of them were wearing ice boots, and it wasn't difficult to prompt them to slip. Moscow was in zeal, there would be fresh air, freedom! Still, he couldn't help but wonder why. Had someone let them out? Moscow them saw a group, they looked, to be escaping as well. He thinned his ice path, and caught up to them "Привет, я Кристофф" they probably didn't speak Russian, still, worth a try. Just in case they thought he might be a threat, Kristoff smiled, maintained a happy outlook, which, given the circumstances, was not difficult.

Sai simply sat in his spherical barriers meditating concentrating opening, trying to pass the time. Before he knew it he suddenly found himself flat on the ground and the front of his cage wide open. Sai didn't hesitate he leapt to his feet and was out of the cage as quick as he could. All around him was this mass of fighting between escapees, guards, and othet escapees. Sai telekinetically enhanced his speed so he could simply run around the guards rather than fight them.

He saw few escapees making their way through a door. They must know the way out or they wouldn't move with such purpose. So he followed rerouting his psychic energy to form a barrier to protect his from the taser bullets as he desperately did his best to catch up with them. He desperately did not want to stay down here with these awful scientists. He saw the one that must've been leading them stop to possibly make a head count. Sai slowed down when he approached Kai. "I guess you must've did all this. Nice work there friend who's name only differs by one letter." Sai said.

Another blood curdling roar as Reza used her sharp claws to gut a scientist who tried to sedate her. They were so close now. So many smells. Fear. Excitement. Anger. Happiness. Outside. Freedom! She was too close to stop. She wouldn't stop! Not until she was dead.

She sniffed the air in the direction of a hall that lead to a stairway. That was it. The way out. She roared again, hoping someone who could see could confirm what she hoped was real. The possibility of freedom.

Cries of experiments and shots of guns echoed down from the end of the hallway. Most of the more vicious experiments had stayed back to fight, while the more determined experiments fled in search of weaponry or a way out. A single group of experiments in particular caught her attention. A boy with jet black hair appeared, with others following closely behind. He stood there for a moment, watching her as she released the cuffs that restricted her. The two locked gazes for a single second, before she heard him call to the others to follow. He dashed down the hallway and past her in a slowed sprint, seemingly following the reptilian girl Eve had met earlier. Her throbbing orange eyes watched him until his figure disappeared around the corner. The sounds of voices coming from behind her yelled out loudly. A few guards had entered through one of the back ways she had forgotten about. She stopped paying attention a long time ago. There was about three of them, decked out in the same body armor and guns. As she could have guessed, they were looking specifically for her.

They aimed their scopes at her in an instant. Small, red laser dots appeared on her chest, twitching slightly as the guards walked closer to Eve.

"Move, and we shoot." The bigger one out of the bunch snarled, his finger pressed lightly against the black trigger. Eve managed to stay completely calm however, and raised both hands in defeat. The rifle dropped beside her, giving the guards the satisfaction they had desired. The tension between them slowly began to lift away. Until, the men lowered their guns.

Immediately, Eve's hand flew to the massive monitor next to her. Their was a slight crackle noise as the electricity connected with her veins and pulsed through her. The guards guns began to shake uncontrollably. Something was pulling them away, a magnetic field of some sort. The guns were sucked out of their grasps, and had smacked straight against the monitor's screen which began to emit a deafening buzzing sound. The strong men fell to their knees and covered their ears, letting out groans and screams from the ear splitting noise. Eve removed her hand from the warm screen, swooped up the rifle, and aimed the scope.

Pop. One down, a bullet in his brain. Another pop. Two down, this time through the heart. And finally, the third pop. The bullet found it's place in the last man's forehead, dead between the eyes. Blood pooled around them like a miniature lake. With an emotionless expression, Eve swiveled around and sped after the others before she ran into anymore trouble. She was not a killer, unless the moment was right. That, was one of those moments.

Eve found herself following the boy's footsteps, turning around the sharp corner and seeing him not too far down the hallway ahead of her. There was another male with him, making short conversation. The reptilian creature was a few feet behind them, roaring to alert them of something. She knew the path to the exit way was up those stairs, but without proper weapons, they would never be able to push through the guards above. The computerized streaks running up her body glowed eerily in different shades of color. For a moment, Eve just stared at the boy with black hair, unknowing of what to say. It had been too long since she had interacted with an actual person. Someone like her, and not a man dressed in a lab coat.

Her lips parted slightly, beginning to find the voice she had lost so long ago.

"The weaponry... It's down the hall. Near the reptile." Eve finally managed to say, her voice soft and quiet. She almost didn't recognize it.

It took a while, seeing as Conner was more trying to move around the conflict than through it, getting hit by a stray limb once or twice, but he finally reached Kai, having avoided most of the fighting.

"Uh, hi, " he said, awkwardly trying to introduce himself, before scrapping the whole idea. Not the best time for introductions, self, he thought, Maybe once we've actually, i don't know, escaped?

As Kai noticed that the group that was originally following him was still on his heels, plus a few that he must have picked up on the way, he turned to look down the hallway. A few greeted him, some acknowledging that he opened the cages. Among them were Irota, Sai, a Russian guy, the techno-lady, Alyxa, and two others whom Kai had no way of identifying other than their appearance. He knew three of their names, he had obviously met them before, but probably no more than a name exchange, other than Irota, whom lived in the cage across from him since they were both recaptured. The reptilian hybrid was still on the hunt for weapons, but turned towards the elevator, obviously tempted by the thought of escape.

"Hey, uh... Reptilian girl!" Kai tried, hoping that she could understand him, "There's a mass of guards at the elevator, and that's the only way up! If you can find the weapons and equipment stash, I think we can get through!" He yelled at her. She wasn't far away from him, but there was so much commotion going on there was almost no way she would hear him otherwise. He hoped that the reptilian girl could understand him, because this weapons stash is their only hope for getting through that mass of guards.

You see, these people may have put a couple million dollars into security, but they put all of the experimental weapons in one spot.

Genius.

Natsu looked at all the people fighting everywhere. Bullets, flying and that horrible sticky stuff was all around. She walked down the hall looking at the others who were fighting. She noticed one cellmate that she did know, Kai. He always wanted to run away, hopping over she smiled and waved to them "Kai, Kai! Hey! What's going on? Where are you going?! Whats new?" She began to float off the ground as she continued to barrage them with questions. "Ooooh who are you guy? Do I know any of you? I think I've seen some of you! Anyone been in the pressure chamber?" She floated next to a few of them and beamed a warm and sunny smile.

Reza huffed through her nostrils, knowing he was right and sniffed the air once more, in search of the armory. It only took her a minute before she charged down and opposite hallway, taking out guards and scientists dumb enough to get in her way and leaving claw marks everywhere she went. She skid around corners as she kept the scent before coming upon a large, metal door that resembled a garage. Too excited and misjudging distance, she ran head first, leaving a small dent. She shook off the daze and turned her blind eyes towards the others, hoping one of them could open it.

Zack, who had been helping dispatch guards using one of their own rifles, spotted the reptilian... Thing. Heading for the wall of guards. He decided to follow it. So, swiping an extra magazine from the guards now on the ground, and popping some rounds in anything still moving... Which included some experiments already on the brink of death, with no chance of survival even if they received help immediately... He went and stood by the door. He held his rifle up, not hesitating to shoot any guard that entered his field of vision.

Kristoff looked to Kai who seemed to be leading the group and said "English, yes? I am Kristoff Markovic, the scientists call." He then noticed the researchers throats being ripped out, and corrected his statement. "Called me Moscow. It is of my understand that you disabled cages." Kristoff then saw two more guard approaching, and created an ice block around their heads, causing them to fall to the floor. "I am of looking forward to working with you."

"Thanks, Moscow. I'm sure you'll prove a valuable friend," Kai told the Russian, whom claimed to be named Kristoff, before turning to look at the reptilian girl, whom had darted down the hallway. Kai took off after her, following her claw marks through a bunch of dead scientists and guards. On his way, he found a small group a girl seemed to be in the lead. He was running past them and he shouted "You guys! Come with us!"

He eventually found the reptilian girl on the ground next to a large metal door that had a small dent in it.

That must be it.

He ran up to the door and tried to get his fingers under it to pull it up, but once he got his fingers under it, the door lock was too strong for Kai to lift. He turned to look at the group who had followed him here. No one seemed as though they could open this door through brute force, not even Irota's hands. He looked around, finding a panel on the wall. I hope that's the lock controls. Kai thought, as he ran up to it and punched it, bringing the edge out just far enough for him to get his fingers under it and rip it off. Kai was in luck, again. The door controls were laid out in front of him. He tried to get in, but they were locked, of course. He took a step back, disappointed.

His head perked up, he looked back at the group. He saw the techno-girl. He lifted his hand and pointed at her.

"You. Can you use this to get that door open?" He asked. He wasn't sure exactly what she could do, but if she could unlock cuffs by touching a monitor it was worth a shot.

"Wait it seems this door withstands brute force but how about psychic force." Sky said. He placed his hands together and focused his psychic energy in the space between his hands. A great amount of telekinetic force amassed in that space condense and ready for a full burst. He then walked to the door and placed his hands on it focusing the energy in the technique of Telekinetic Surgery to surgically rupture the locking the mechanism at all it's key points. The door with it's locking mechanism wrecked completely just needing some brute force to get it open now. Sai used some tactile telekinesis to open the door. "The mind is powerful." He commented looking inside the room.
