Amalia glanced at the person who had just randomly asked, and stayed silent. She glanced at Katsumi, waiting to hear his answer. God, this day is hectic as hell, she thought.

Kasume looked down, feeling embarrassed due to crying...basically over nothing, she turned her body away from everyone and sniffled

I'm a level seven, I'm sure you've heard of The Black Death?" he grabs his laser pistol, incase the armor wasn't enough, "Heheh, this is where I got this laser pistol, deep at the back, the monsters are one level stronger, and the traps are overkill for The Caves, speed is the key~"

Amalia snorted. This guy was clearly a show-off about being level 7. She was level 6, and she didn't go around bragging about it. Hearing Kasume's words, she thought: Agreed.

"Trying to be interested, and this is what I get. You are so fiendish. So what if I'm cocky? I rightfully am, I have speed enhancements so great, and a signature weapons so powerful, that I used to be that guy you simply don't beat, and now I am hearing of people regularly in level 9? People regularly battling The Giant!?"


he was getting worked up, this was a touchy subject,


"I have trained for years, and I was nearly crushed by that thing, and other people are simply waving their hands and it falls to the ground, dead!" he jumped up, and seemed to just... disappear, he reappeared a few moments later, "You see that? That kind of speed can't outrun that thing, and people, like you-"

He walks a few feet from the group, and puts his hand on a button next to his ear-


"Red, cancel mission, I'm not doing The Caves right now...Yes, I know, but I'm feeling The Abyss right now... Alright, thanks."


-and all that's left of him is the sound of something breaking the sound barrier... and his pistol which he tossed up in the air in frustration, and forgot in his outburst.
