She glared at the floor. "I hope you enjoy disappointment, then, because I'm not saying anything. But keep trying if you want, it's fun to watch," she said calmly.
She sighed before saying, "Look, I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I'm not usually like this.. I'm a nice person. It's just.. I hate talking about myself. People always ask too much, and I have a...... a bad history. It makes me uncomfortable to talk about it. Sorry if I've been an ass."
She gave him a tiny smile. "It's somewhat of a relief to meet someone who understands. So, you know my name, but I do not know yours. If it's not a bother, may I please know what it is?" she said, then resumed looking at the floor.
She smiled, a full smile, and said, "The pleasure is all mine. So, you're here for the Caves?" After saying it, she changed into her wolf form to be able to scan the area better.
She resumed her human form and said, "Good. From what I understand, this is a network of many dungeons.. all in one place. The monsters are supposed to be pretty difficult to kill the deeper you go in. Anyways, I'm heading in. You coming?"
She sighed before saying, "Probably. Not many people have gone here yet. I myself am a newcomer to this... but I'm ready. So I'm going in, with or without anyone else." She then unsheathed her sword and began walking, a serious expression on her face.
She had gone in about 5 feet and she saw a monster. A glance showed her it was no boss, but still, it was a monster, all the same. She held a hand out in front of Sir Dylan so he'd stop. "We need to be careful. Low power monster or not, we can't take any chances," she said quietly, and crouched, using stealth to find cover behind a rock so she could form a plan.
She studied the monster carefully. It seemed to rely on smell more than sight.. so if they didn't act quickly, it would realize there were players in it's territory and go on a rampage. She scanned the area. There wasn't much cover.. just some more rocks. "Okay, here's the plan. You attack it's right flank, and I'll distract it from the front. Of course, if something goes wrong and.. I don't make it out, you attack it from the front, and fight hard. But if you want to do your own thing, go ahead. The plan's just an idea..." she said, and pulled out a small handgun she had recently bought.
She took a deep breath before stepping out from behind the rock, and shooting her thigh. She flinched as the blood poured down, and the monster's head swerved around towards her. She raised her sword and charged at it.
She ran, letting out a fierce battle cry. She pointed her sword forward, and shoved it into the beast's stomach. She yanked it out and jumped back several feet, blood dripping from her sword and from her leg.
She sheathed her sword, and holstered her gun. She sighed, as the monster exploded into dust. "Nice work. Never seen anyone who stayed as calm as you in battle," she said, then began walking again, ignoring the blood that continued to drip from her leg, no doubt leaving a nice little trail for any other monsters to follow.
She glanced at him before saying, "No problem. Anyways, the next area will most likely be harder, so be ready for anything." She took her sword back out, wiping the monster blood from it. She kept it out, because she had the feeling something worse than the area monsters was following them. Still, it would be suicide to attack whatever it was now. It'd be better to keep going.
