INTRODUCTION
Hello all! Pleasure to meet you - thank you for stopping by to give my humble thread a read! I'm an old writer and role-player looking to get back into the hobby after a several year hiatus. Below I will detail a little more about myself, what I have to offer as a writer, and what I am looking for in turn. Please kindly give at the very least my rules and current fandoms a quick glance before messaging me. While I appreciate everyone's time, I do reserve the right not to respond to messages from people who clearly have not read even the basics of my thread. Thank you once again, and onwards we go!
ABOUT
- My name is SakuraMochi! I generally go by Mochi, though Sakura is fine if you prefer.
- I am female (she/her i guess)
- I am an adult; 25 years old as of writing this in fact
- I am Canadian born and raised
- I actually started writing through roleplay about 14-15 years ago now on Quizilla (RIP) I took a few years off recently, but I'd still say I have 10+ years writing experience
- Generally pretty open - if there's anything else you feel you need to know feel free to ask
RULES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Lazy Lit - to elaborate since that means something different to everybody, I personally mean I am looking for a writing partner willing to put forth something of decent quantity (5+ paragraphs depending on situation, muse, and previous post length) and enough quality to be legible (i.e. you use the proper synonyms for things, punctuation is generally sensical and flows, ect.) I have no upper limit in terms of writing, so go nuts.
- 21+ - being 25 myself, I prefer to roleplay with people closer to my age. I absolutely will not write with minors under any circumstances.
- Mature Themes - I like to have mature, dark, or even sometimes gritty themes in my stories - all, of course, within site rules and reason. While I will respect really any triggers brought to my attention (as I also have my own that can be discussed during plotting) and will not under any circumstances write explicit depictions of sex, I often do lean towards having themes such as drugs/alcohol, sex (fading to black or simply being referenced), struggles with mental health, death and loss/grief, gore or violence, ect... in my writing.
- As implied by the title, I am looking for ccxoc (that is to say, canon characters paired with original characters) almost exclusively and I am very happy to double or triple (I can play up to 2 love interests at one time but may expect the same in return if I do.) I'll write for any sexuality or gender really, though most of my requested ships are MxF (with a few exceptions). Please note that I do prefer when canon characters are portrayed as their most authentic selves rather than being softened for romance purposes (i.e. the jerk is still mean to you, the villain is still evil, ect.) and I enjoy having the romance between the OCs and canons to be, while central, not the only story being told. Additionally, in my fandom list below, some fandoms will have primary love interests (above the others in bold) and secondary love interests (below the primary in italics) Please note that, while I may be willing to accept a secondary interest over the primary if you have less muse for the former, please ask - especially if you're wanting me to play my primary for you instead.
- I may be willing to write ocxoc for the half of the story more surrounding your oc if you'd prefer, but I will still ask for you to play a canon for the other side. Either way, please ask first if getting me to write an oc for you is your intention.
- AUs, multiverses, crossovers, ect. are fair game. I may or may not always be down, but you're always welcome to ask.
- No posting speed requirements. Life comes before a story you're writing with someone on the internet, so if you're up for it post, and if you aren't don't worry about it. In the same vein, I'll be operating the same way. I have health issues that cause me to only be able to work part-time, so my own posting schedule can be erratic (like multiple times a day to once in 2 weeks) I prefer it if you can communicate with me, of course, but if you disappear for a bit and come back it's no big deal, really
- Ditch friendly - in the same vein as the last point, life comes first. As much as I prefer it if you're able to tell me if you're not down to continue writing and maybe even stay friends, things happen.
- OOC chatter - something I love. I am a certified yapper tbh and I love to talk about... anything really. Being able to chat about each other's OCs, the canons, the world, plotting, ect. are pretty important things for keeping me invested so if you're ok chatting at least a bit that's preferable
- Preferred mediums - in order, I prefer: GDocs, On-site, Tumblr, Discord.
- DM to start - I may not respond to comments unless you're a new account that cannot DM, so it's best to shoot me a message.
