  Dreamlight Valley has always been a place filled with imagination, whimsy, and wonder. Well, it used to be, until its leaders disappeared and the land taken over by the Forgetting and its Night Thorns. Long trapped by the fact there was no ruler, some villagers fled back to their own realms, while others were trapped inside their houses inside the valley. All the while, they never truly gave up, not even when the last vestiges of their former leaders began to fade.
  
  And then... you came along.
  
  Falling into what seems to be a world of imagination as a grown adult was probably the weirdest thing to happen to you, wasn't it? But, you're here now! And as you go about restoring the place, you start to recall things that you seem to have... well, forgotten. Maybe, just maybe, you, and everyone else that came with you can fix this placeup, and find the truth of what happened here.
  
  
  

  
  
  
  Hello hello hello, you can blame anyasjoy of rpn fame for this rp! We're both huge players of the game and they suggested something and like a crazy fool I immediately obliged! This is based off the game "Disney Dreamlight Valley", though knowledge of the game is not needed. All you really need is some knowledge of Disney in general and you should be good! So basically you're playing as either a ruler or a villager (or maybe both, no judgement), and you'll be running around the valley doing tasks! The valley does have like, biomes to it as well, so you can really go wherever you want! Hopefully someone joins this!

  These are... well, you! Sort of. These will be original characters or self inserts, whatever you want to do, the only catch is that the character has to be an original character. If you wanna bring in some inspiration, feel free to do so! They just can't be canon characters or otherwise. Some of them came from realms, some of them came from other places, but the primary connection is they all were or are in Dreamlight Valley at some point.   As with most rps on this website, this will be an 18+ rp, mostly because that's the age range I am comfortable. Please abide with site rules, no one wants to get banned from the website. Please be cordial to each other, this is gonna be a light, happy, fun rp! Similar to this, I would prefer if the original characters used are twenty one and above, although I can go as low as eighteen. The point is, these characters are supposed to be the former child rulers grown up.
