My Interest Check
Im working on designing some backgrounds for a story/rp idea I had, with some of the locations based off of Minecraft builds i've made. These will all be very rough sketches as I try my hand at background/set design.

In the world all the creepy crawlies have large variants that lots of people tame and use as rides (basically replacing horses) but as for sentient beings, there's mixes of human and anything or an anthro person (like a birdfolk, catfolk or a lizardfolk to name a few)

this is the first one, it was a base of mine that I had terraformed a flat hill into a deeper hill as I dug into it and made my base inside of it.

(I dont know how you texturize grass on a hill. would love some tips on that. )

in the story it will be the home of Miner. A nameless character who is, you guessed it, a miner. but the character is also an engineer who loves to build contraptions and inventions, which the inside of the home will show.

If you use procreate, there should be a couple of grass brushes that can create some nice depth and detail.

first time really doing sketches like this, I forced myself to keep it simple and not spend as much time as I usually do when I have the intent to finish the drawing

I think they ended up well

(feel free to use these as a base/idea if you desire, when it comes to stuff like posing practice idc)
