Drake Makilian x CrimsonEclipse RP

She was flying through the skies, swiftly, almost like a bird, but bigger. She is out for ingredients, for her potions. A dab of nightshade, for poisons to fend off the dragon slayer attacks, "Those fools know they can't kill me." She had a habit of thinking out loud when she was alone, "Just a little bit of this..." On and on she ranted while going through the fields of wildflowers. With her pack full, she began her flight back, drinking a tonic of speed to make her go faster over the village she passed, in case the arrows fired would find their target with her.

On and on she flew, having traveled several days to get to those fields because the land she was forced to live in was barren and demonic, a volcano's cave, where she was spawned by her mother and father. A place no one dare tread, not even the hunters. No, the time to catch her was now, the 3 day journey which she took at one of the refuges she had made along the way. Ready to fight she stopped at her first refuge, and there, standing, was a young man, with a bow, two daggers, and some knives to throw.

"Well what do you want?" She snorted, taking poisons from her bag and drenching her claws.

"Why did I agree to this?!" He thought to himself as he trekked through the woods. He shouldn't be doing this mission to, how did they say it. to "prove myself", come on, his great grand father started this! All of his ancestors were the guild leaders, well, all except for him. His father died while he was still young, which is why the leadership was handed to someone else. And that is why he is here, to kill off some stupid dragon. If he had a say in it, which he clearly doesn't, he would have rather just stayed home and read about them. Not that he was a coward, he's just not comfortable with the idea of taking the life of an incredible and sentient creature such as a dragon, but alas, he had no choice.

After hours, days, maybe even weeks of walking, he finally reached it. This place has been rumored to be a favorite resting spot of the dragon, often being seen here. He was hoping that he would be here before the dragon arrived in order to look for the perfect vantage point. He froze in fear as he heard the voice, he just stood there, gaping at the beast.

"You gonna' say or do something or just stand there? And why did they send just one of you, they usually send about 10." She was disgusted by this attempt, "They should know, I'm better than that. What do you want?" She wasn't even worried about taking down this hunter, but she wouldn't. She had to prove to them her race was compassionate, which she loathed, but nonetheless, it's necessary.

"Look. I'm not gonna kill you. But I don't want you here. So leave me be and you'll live." She waited patiently for the answer.

He just stood there, his whole body frozen in fear. It truly was a majestic beast, its scales glimmering in the sunlight, its eyes gleaming with intelligence. He truly wanted to admire to creature, to just stand there and bask in its radiance, but he was frozen in spot for a different reason. "They usually send about 10." That's when it struck him. This wasn't about proving his worth, it was a suicide mission. "They sent me here to die." He said to himself, not wanting to believe it but he knew it was true. He was disgusted by the idea, the very thought of sending one of your own to a mission just for them to die. He collapsed, blacking out from what he found out.

She rushed to pick him up, out of impulse really, and thought she'd keep him, "If I can teach one of these humans..." She trailed off into thought.

Maybe I can teach the rest with him. It sounded so good in her head she had to try it. So she tied him up when he hit the floor, ready to begin the teachings when he awoke.

Now before she slept she had to set the traps. Twenty traps, all to assure her own safety. From dart traps, to pit falls, all in random locations to prevent the hunters from knowing where they were. Once that was done she began her work.

Taking the mortar in her claw grip she smashed up the flowers into a paste. Using the alembic to concentrate this into a liquid, she made some odd tonic. This tonic was nothing she had particularly had in mind what to take, but she was a scientists, and lived by experiments. This was her way of doing so.

Slowly, he regain his consciousness. He had no idea where he was, or what time it currently is. He was pretty sure that he was dead, that the dragon devoured, or maybe torched, him and that he was dead. But his head hurts so much, so it can't possibly be the afterlife. He slowly stood up, his head spinning wildly as he did. "Where am I?" He asked himself, looking around. He saw the dragon, who apparently had chosen to take him in its lair. "W-Why did you bring me here?" He asked, trying to sound intimidating but it came out as a whimper.

"Because, not all dragons are evil you know. By the way, don't think about running, you're tied up and wouldn't stand a chance without your weapons, and oh, the traps might get you." She was far too busy with her new tonic to even care that he was awake. She had to find something to test it on, the human was definitely a choice, but not a wise one. Elona thought and decided to take to one of the caged animals she kept deep in this refuge of a cave. Maybe they could prove to be of use?

But no, that would have to wait. The human was awake now. She had lessons to do, "Give me your word you won't try anything." Her voice was calm and serious this time.
